If you have a smaller RV or converted van without much functional counter space, you can mount your TV to the ceiling so you can conserve what little room you do have for the camping essentials you absolutely need. When you get to the campsite after dark and want to unwind with a movie night, you can easily flip this TV mount down from the ceiling.
And after the movie is over, flip the TV back up and use the integrated locking pin and included strap to secure it out of the way so your already-small space doesn't feel even smaller.
How to Measure Your TV for VESA Mounting Patterns
VESA is an industry standard for measurements given in millimeters used to mount TVs. Most modern TVs use this standard, but you need to know your TV's mounting pattern to select the correct mount. To find this pattern, use a ruler to measure the distance between mounting holes on the back. You can measure in centimeters, keeping in mind that 10cm equals 100mm.
This diagram illustrates the compatible VESA mounting patterns of this RV TV mount:
If your TV's mounting pattern requires a different configuration, you can use one of MORryde's TV mount adapter plates (MR43ZR - sold separately) to get the right fit. The plates are installed on the mount to adapt for TVs that call for a 300mm x 300mm or 400mm x 400mm VESA pattern. Be mindful of the mount's weight limitations.

Hi there, I'm Michael, with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this dropdown ceiling mount. This is gonna be a great space saver option for those of you who have an RV or a camper. This will allow you to mount your TV to this plate here, and then this will be mounted onto your ceiling. So when you're not using your TV, it'll be sitting up flush or parallel with your ceiling. So it should give you a lotta walking space so that you don't have to worry about hitting your head on it or anything.
But then when you're ready to watch it, you just pull out on the side lever here. And that will release it to then drop down. Kinda hard for me to demonstrate when it's not in place. So it'll drop down and swing out so that your TV will be right there within viewing range. And then when you're ready to hit the road again or move, you can simply slide it up, lock it in place, and that'll keep it from swinging back down, even if you hit rough roads or something along those lines.
So a really great option to still have your television without taking up a whole lot of space in your RV or camper. Now, this is going to mount to several different kinds of televisions. It's got three different VESA mounting patterns to it. VESA is a standard with televisions. So this will accommodate a 75 mm x 75 mm, or a 100 mm x 100 mm.
We'll also work with a 200 mm by 200 mm, and that will just mount right onto the back of your television. They do include several different kinds of hardware for your different televisions to make sure that it's going to mount properly. You can see, we also have this hook and loop strap to wrap around the television to make sure that it is nice and stable, and secure, as we have it up in the stowed position. So it's not going to rattle loose or anything like that while we're traveling down the road. This will fit up to a 24 inch wide or 24 inch television.
Of course, that measurement is measured diagonally on the screen. So definitely a good option for many of your RV TVs. It will handle up to 25 pounds. So depending on your television, you wanna make sure that it will fit within that weight range. The mounting plate here, it's right about eight and five eighths of an inch wide and nine inches tall. So again, it should be very easy to get this mounted in place. You do wanna make sure that wherever you are mounting this, that the ceiling is properly supported to handle the weight of not only the television, but the rack itself. This is only a few pounds, so it shouldn't add a whole lot more to that 25 pound weight limit. But you do wanna make sure that the roof is gonna support that weight, so you don't have to worry about it coming down at all. This is a nice sturdy metal construction with a black powder coat finish on it. So it should last you a nice long time, be very durable and powerful, should hold up your TV well for you. It is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. And like I said, they not only include the mounting hardware to get the mount connected to your ceiling, but also several different kinds of mounting hardware to get your TV mounted onto the mount as well. They do include instructions with pictures to help everything get sorted out. But the main thing is just make sure that your television will sit on here. That it's gonna fit within those mounting parameters and weight range, and that your ceiling can support that weight. If you've got all that covered, this is gonna be a great option to just swing down your television when you wanna watch it, and then put it right back up on the ceiling so that you have more space and it's gonna be secured for while you're traveling. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael, with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

My old coach had old CRT tv. I removed it and built support structure and it’s worked very well for us. Plan to install a 32” soon.
Wow!! Easy ordering, very polite and knowledgeable on the phone, kept me well informed on the shipment and I received it a day earlier that expected. Definitely will do business with these folks again. Thanks
But it for our small bus seems to be well built time will tell
It's great..we mounted to our RV wall. It is heavy, so we mounted a small painted sheet of ply wood to make sure we hit studs. Then mounted this to the ply wood.
Only thing is the swivel, I wish it had a little more angle viewing. It doesn't swivel very far
Installed this TV mount in my RV over the front storage area between driver & pass seats. (Where the factory installs a tv in every unit) I accomplished 2 things here: I put a 40” TCL Roku tv on the new mount. (up from the 27” factory tv) the TV now pulls down about 18” into a MUCH more comfortable, natural viewing angle. AND it pans left & right, enough so, that someone sitting in the driver or passenger seat can have great view without interfering with others viewing from the sofa, dinette or wherever. THIS mount should be factory, not aftermarket. It’s changed the way we watch tv in our rv so much for the better. When we hit the road, the TV goes up into the top position & locks into place. Ready to travel! The mount is sturdy. The TV weighs 14lbs. The mount is rated for 25lbs i think.
I also stuffed a block of foam rubber on either side behind the tv to silence any rattling while traveling. The larger screen tv may possibly interfere with opening & closing the storage compartments in either side. My storage compartments open & close no problem though with the tv locked upright.
No problem to lower the tv on the mount though, and you’d definitely have access to the storage compartments.
Carries a 46” tv in the garage of our toy hauler and we have never had an issue with it coming loose or causing problems during travel days or when set up to camp.
It's just too heavy to hang on the wall of our travel trailer.
While it does a great job for me lowering the tv, getting it to return and latch easily is a whole other matter. Feels like I'm going to break the tv in 2 trying to force it back hard enough to engage.
Customer service was very good. The product was very well made and works as expected. I gave it 4 stars because of the instructions. I thought maybe they would be a little more expansive--for different sceneries. Plus, my instruction said to remove a wing nut to separate the back. I couldn't find a wing nut anywhere. Anyway, it's installed and works great.
Piece came bent from shipping. We were able to use it, but had to take some tools luckily my husband had to fix it to be able to use it...
I replaced one that did not lower. It was easy.
Good product and great customer support
