This toilet is built for part-time RVers who use their RV more frequently than just on the weekends. It's just as tall as a standard residential toilet, so it's easy to sit down on and get up from. The ceramic bowl is more durable and easier to clean than a plastic bowl. And the lid closes slowly, so it won't loudly slam against the rim. This toilet provides the durability and ease of use needed for your long RV adventures.
There's one measurement you should double check to see if this toilet will easily fit into your bathroom. The rough-in measurement is the minimum distance you'll need from the wall to the center of the flange on which the toilet will sit. To measure this distance without uninstalling your current toilet, the mounting bolts on the side will typically tell you where the center of the flange is. You may want to triple check if your toilet has an offset flange or 4-bolt mounting style.
The Dometic 310 Series RV toilet has a rough-in measurement of 10". If your rough-in measurement is less than 10", select a toilet model with a lower requirement or consider alterations to make it fit. Keep in mind the overall dimensions of the toilet, and measure for yourself to pick the best model for an easy DIY upgrade.

We could not locate the foul smell in our RV until we learned that it was the 300 had a defective gasket! Instead of replacing it, we ordered the 310.
No more smell! The 300 had a lot of nasty "liquid" in it!
The 310 is so much nicer, we love the slow-close lid and porcelain bowl.

ordered a Dometic 320 toilet upgraded from the 300 series. The old Dometic toilets had a bad flaw design which allowed orders to be presented. Love the new toilet very easy to install with a slow close seat. From the reviews that I read should be the trick.
Previously had the all plastic bowl, the 310 with both seats being soft close is pretty fancy stuff. You sit slightly higher which is more comfortable. Good product altogether, I would recommend this model RV toilet

After one year of use my domestic 310 porcelain toilet with soft close seat and lid has functioned without a flaw... Good product with great service...
I received the Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet today. Within half an hour of opening the box, I had it installed. I didn't encounter any problems during installation.
Installed the toilet today. Love it! After removing the gasket that comes inside the bottom, it fit exactly over the hole. I like the water flow holes along the inside, and that it allows water to trickle into the bowl to cover the flap! No more tapping the foot flush handle to do it. A great upgrade for the bathroom, and delivery was fast. Thank you, etrailer!
Died after a year and a half. No support or help from Progressive Dynamics. Wouldn't recommend this company or this product. Poor customer service and poor product. eTrailer is great through. :)
Very happy we got rid of our old plastic toilet. The quality of the 310 is outstanding. If we go to a newer camper and it doesn’t have one of these, guess what I’ll be changing?
It arrived missing one of the seat hinge nuts. It took a lot of push but etrailer came through sending me via Dometic the part that was missing. We had a professional install the toilet along with other updates. It appears to be work fine. We have not actually sat & used it. The RV is still in refurbishing & upgrading. But we did flush the black tank out and ran a flushing wand through the toilet to help that event. It appears to be sealed. My husband does not like the quite soft closing lids. He would rather have them more regular fair. It's not his RV it's a SHE model and SHE loves the toilet & Miss Mini MO loves her new upgraded toilet and MaxAir Dome Exhaust Fan & bathroom sink faucet all from etrailer too. Hoping to have her road ready by mid June.
Shipping only took a day but ups broke the first one. It was promptly replaced and easily installed, took about 10 mins. Did away with all the squeaky night time potty visits. We are much happier with this toilet that replaced the 300 series.

The replacement 310 toilet was easy to install after I removed the old one. New bolts with nuts & washers that came with the toilet, along with a new floor seal, made the install pretty simple. Thanks for the great service!

Easy replacement for Thetford toilet. Better water action.
Toilet was well packaged. It is as described. However I was surprised that no paperwork came with it — no installation instructions, no warranty info, and no manual.
Ball gasket does not fully seal. Can't hold water in the bowl and gases from black tank are emitting. Tried reseating per instructions.
This toilet is so much studier than the cheaply made 300 series one that came in my 2019 Springdale travel trailer that leak between seals and smelled
Ordered in June, but now in September the bowl won’t hold water. This bowl cost WAY too much for this to happen. Other than that, the porcelain bowl and the water being all round the bowl (not just the back) makes it easy to keep clean.
The product looks amazing. I haven't actually tried it yet, but the installation went seamlessly. E-trailer has been my go to place for trailer parts.
I purchased this toilet one year ago. I installed it myself after watching a you tube video. I had a little trouble with the rubber gasket that seals water in the toilet. I needed to get a new rubber gasket, but other than that the toilet works great, and I love the slow close lid. I believe it is lighter than the factory toilet so that helps with additional weight in the RV.
Works great. Easy to install. Had a Dometic 300 and would leak. This one seems a tad taller also.

Came quickly and fairly easy to install - a little hard to get the mounting bolts to stay in one place when mounting but got it in place. Another great service from etrailer!
The toilet (310 model) in our 5th wheel needed to be replaced after 7 years. I found exactly what I needed at a great price. Shipping was quick and I already have the new toilet in and it is perfect.
We love everything about this toilet except the flush valve seal ring. When I installed the toilet the ring didn’t seal; it would not hold water despite my doing everything Dometic recommended for a new install. Etrailer sent me a new seal ring, and that worked, for a few months. Then it would not hold water again, so I replaced it again. I’ve replaced it one more time since, and I carry spare seals now. It’s an easy fix, but annoying to have to deal with. Clearly the seal is not designed and/manufactured correctly. In spite of the issue, I still like the toilet, and etrailer was easy to work with on the 1st seal replacement.
Great product. I'm a Mobile RV Tech and I've installed many of these Dometic 310 toilets for my customers as well as my own RV. E-trailer gets it there quick and the product works great.
