Great for RVing on the Weekends

Nothing lets you relax after a busy work week like taking a trip in your RV. But even weekend warriors need a place to conduct their business. This RV toilet is specifically built to satisfy the needs of RVers who use their RV for just a few days at a time. This toilet is just as tall as a standard residential toilet so it's easy to sit down on and get up from. It also has a convenient foot pedal for a clean, hands-free way to flush away waste. Also, the durable polypropylene seat, bowl, and base are lightweight, so they won't weigh down your camper. If you're preparing for a trip this weekend, this toilet ensures that you'll be ready when nature calls.

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

There's one measurement you should double check to see if this toilet will easily fit into your bathroom. The rough-in measurement is the minimum distance you'll need from the wall to the center of the flange on which the toilet will sit. To measure this distance without uninstalling your current toilet, the mounting bolts on the side will typically tell you where the center of the flange is. You may want to triple check if your toilet has an offset flange or 4-bolt mounting style.

The Dometic 300 Series RV toilet has a rough-in measurement of 8-1/2". If your rough-in measurement is less than 8-1/2", alterations will be needed to make it fit. Also keep in mind the overall dimensions of the toilet, and measure for yourself to pick the best model for an easy DIY upgrade.

1 year of use &amp no smells, nice replacement for the stock toilet. Quick &amp easy replacement.

by:

The toilet looks really nice and came fast.only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because its really squeaky when you sit on it to use. I'm headed to the hardware store to see if I can find some bump stops to put on the lid to make it easier to raise. The foot pedal is a nice upgrade from the lever action I had before

by:

Not even a month after installing this toilet the foot valve started leaking and there are no part stores in my area that have a new valve in stock so I had to put a inline shut off valve on the water line to toilet while waiting for parts. Still has the usual bowl leak that collects toilet water/etc in the inner housing of the toilet.

by:

I’m very pleased with this new toilet. Install was super quick and easy. I have a 1987 Terry Taurus camper that stays at my deer camp. The toilet bolted right up and works beautifully.

by:

Unfortunately the box was open when it arrived, and there is a crack in the toilet. I'm hoping that you can send me another one.

Unfortunately I am disappointed with my purchase, although the toilet is easy to install, it is very noisy when you sit on it.

  • Can Metal Toilet Supply Line Nut Fit Dometic 300 Weekender
You can use your existing supply line with the metal nut on your Dometic 300 Weekender # DOM64FR. However, you want to be careful since it is easy to cross thread when you have a metal nut which will damage the fitting. If you want to get a supply line with a plastic nut instead you can grab one at your local hardware store.

  • Can You Use A Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet In A Home
Technically you could use the Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet # DOM64FR in a home but a residential toilet is going to be better in terms of quality. This style toilet is made of polypropylene instead of ceramic so it's not as comfortable or sturdy as a standard toilet. The water pressure in your house is most likely a bit higher than a typical RV as well so you would need to somehow regulate the pressure on that specific water line down to about 40-55 psi so that it doesn't destroy the...

Yes, the Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet # DOM64FR will work as a replacement for your original Thetford. This requires a rough-in measurement of 8-1/2" so since your measurement is 8-3/4" you won't have any problems getting it to fit.

If you're wanting to replace your Dometic 300 RV toilet then I recommend sticking with the 300 line with the Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet # DOM64FR so that your size stays the same and so your water inlets are still in the same spot so that you don't have to reroute any water lines or buy an extension. • Can a Dometic 320 RV Toilet Be Installed In Place of a Dometic 300 Toilet?
First you will need to determine how far your current flange is from the wall on your camper. The Dometic 300 Weekender # DOM64FR requires a rough in of 8-1/2" to install without modifications. With the Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet # DOM27FR requiring a 11" rough in there are a couple options. You will need to inspect the structure under the floor on your trailer to determine if you will be able to move the flange under the floor or if you will need to create a raised section of the...

  • Is There a Good Replacement for the Thetford Aqua Magic V RV Toilet 31684
The Thetford Aqua Magic V RV Toilet 31684 has a rough-in of 7-5/8". This is unfortunately not a lot of space so most of your newer toilets will not fit. The rough-in is simply the distance from the center of the floor opening to the wall. The new toilet has to have a rough-in less than or equal to the existing or the space available. Unfortunately, the closest option we have is the Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet part # DOM64FR at 8-1/2". The Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet part # DOM27FR...

  • Can a Regular Residential Toilet Be Used in a Camper
No, unfortunately you can not use a regular residential toilet in a camper. The main reasons for this are the flush mechanism and water usage. A residential toilet is going to use more water than a RV toilet and it is not designed to dump into a tank. They are also not designed for the bumps and turns of the road. We do have standard height toilets with elongated bowls available. - Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet # DOM87FR This toilet is the same height as a standard residential toilet...
