This toilet is built for part-time RVers who use their RV more frequently than just on the weekends. The low-profile design means it'll take up less space in your RV's bathroom. The ceramic bowl is more durable and easier to clean than a plastic bowl. And the lid closes slowly, so it won't loudly slam against the rim. This toilet provides the durability and ease of use needed for your long RV adventures.
There's one measurement you should double check to see if this toilet will easily fit into your bathroom. The rough-in measurement is the minimum distance you'll need from the wall to the center of the flange on which the toilet will sit. To measure this distance without uninstalling your current toilet, the mounting bolts on the side will typically tell you where the center of the flange is. You may want to triple check if your toilet has an offset flange or 4-bolt mounting style.
The Dometic 311 Series RV toilet has a rough-in measurement of 10". If your rough-in measurement is less than 10", select a toilet model with a lower requirement or consider alterations to make it fit. Keep in mind the overall dimensions of the toilet, and measure for yourself to pick the best model for an easy DIY upgrade.

Replaced the cheap and cracked RV toilet in our new rig. This one is so much better made, glad we invested the extra to get this one. Easy to install and etrailer customer service was terrific as usual.
Water inlet port had design that's different than my factory unit. It was very difficult to mount it on my 2016 Roadtrek SS Agile. It required lots of cutting and grinding with multiple trips to home depot to find the correct PVC elbow connector and hose clamp wrench which I had to order from Amazon. Once installed, it works fine but if I knew that I had to go through all this trouble I would have just left the original commode alone.

Ordered to replace a Thetford toilet that came with our RV and was damaged. Toilet was an easy install and works great.
The toilet is great. It was an upgrade from the plastic. What was even better when it arrived a cosmetic piece of plastic was cracked. I called and I could not of gotten any better service. E trailer responded quickly and sent out the replacement needed. Extremely nice people to deal with.

THE WATER LINE DIDNOT ALLIGN WITH MY OLD THETFORD BUT WITH A FEW FITTINGS IT ALL WORKED OUT. HAVN'T USED IT YET BUT APPEARS TO BE A QUALITY PRODUCT.

I replaced my old, faded Thetford with this and the difference is pretty amazing! It arrived on time via UPS and the driver had me inspect it for damage before he left. Installation was very straightforward... shut off the water, removed the water supply line, remove the bolts securing the toilet to the floor, remove the old toilet, clear up the area, install the new bolts and set the toilet, tighten the nuts, reinstall the water line and turn on the water. etrailer is the only way to go!!

The only reason I gave a poor rating is because when the box was opened the toilet was broken. I called your office right away and was told the same toilet is available and she would make arrangements for it to be sent to my mechanic (where the original order was sent). Toilet fits right in without any modifications except the water line is set back a little further when compared to a model 300 so may have to drill new hole for it. All in all lot nicer than the factory plastic one

RV toilet is still working great, we use our RV a lot and have had no issues. Would definitely recommend.
