Perfect for Full-Time RV Living

Living in an RV while exploring the country is a real adventure, and you'll want your facilities to live up to that lifestyle. This RV toilet easily handles everyday use, making it great for when you're living in your RV full-time. It's just as tall as a standard residential toilet, so it's easy to sit down on and get up from. The durable wooden seat holds heat for those chilly nights. And the sturdy ceramic bowl is easy to clean. If you call your RV your home, this is the toilet you'll need when nature calls.

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

There's one measurement you should double check to see if this toilet will easily fit into your bathroom. The rough-in measurement is the minimum distance you'll need from the wall to the center of the flange on which the toilet will sit. To measure this distance without uninstalling your current toilet, the mounting bolts on the side will typically tell you where the center of the flange is. You may want to triple check if your toilet has an offset flange or 4-bolt mounting style.

The Dometic 320 Series RV toilet has a rough-in measurement of 11". If your rough-in measurement is less than 11", select a toilet model with a lower requirement or consider alterations to make it fit. Keep in mind the overall dimensions of the toilet, and measure for yourself to pick the best model for an easy DIY upgrade.

Much nicer than cheap plastic toilet installed as original equipment that leaked between bowl & outer shell, smelled worse than an outhouse. It's a little bit longer & just touches back wall, but should be ok. Feels more sturdy & comfortable with the wooden oval seat. Just winterized, so I'll find out for sure next summer. 2018 Wolfpack 325P13 front bathroom.

one year since install, still has no smells! It is much nicer than the factory toilet.

Its been 1 year since I installed this toilet, much, much nicer than the squeaky, stinky stock toilet.

Well, if I was younger it would have been a 15-minute job; well, almost. I added a bidet to the installation, which added to the time, but not much. You’ll note in the photos that there isn’t a color match, but the bidet came in only one shade of white. The model 320 replaced a model 300 in our motorhome. If you’re familiar with a model 300, you know you can lift it with one finger. Once you lift the model 320 you know right away there’s no comparison in the quality. Everything about the model 320 says quality. Truly the installation is a piece of cake, and I can’t imagine anyone being unhappy with this toilet. If they are I’ll ship them my old model 300 for free! As for dealing with etrailer, it’s been another great experience. The toilet came two days earlier than expected; not damage; perfect. etrailer’s customer service and follow-up are second to none. Mark me a happy camper for sure!

by:

Great service from Joshua at etrailer.
Note to buyers: make sure your bathroom door swing will clear the toilet bowl…it’s longer than the std. bowl.

Infrequent use but, working nicely, and comfortable.

Replaced a round Thetford Aqua Magic toilet that was a PITA to keep functioning properly and to service. Also, we hated the plastic kid on the Thetford, with all the nooks and corners, that was difficult to clean; this one has flat surfaces that are easy to clean. This one is WAY more comfortable, sturdy, easier to maintain, and functions better. Had no problem installing it; 15 minutes, start to finish. Glad we made the change; we are full-timers, and this serves our needs better.

The elongated toilet is MUCH better than the round one we previously had. My wife really likes this one.

by:

Functions as expected EXCEPT: SEAL LEAKS and doesn’t hold water. I have replaced the seal and abundantly greased the new seal with better results but still doesn’t hold water. NOT GOOD!

I saw your review and wanted to reach out to manufacturer about it. They said to to push on the white ball in the bowl of the toilet. If it has any flex to it, then its not in the pocket correctly and would be causing these issues. Sometimes it can get knocked out of the groove it sits in during cleaning or what have you. Puttimg it back in place would stop the leaking.

by:

I replaced my 5th wheel’s original Land-sea toilet with the dometic 320 because I was tired of rebuilding the valve on the original toilet. The land-sea toilet would not hold water and we were getting sewer smells in the 5th wheel. The dometic toilet was great until about a month ago. It now will not hold water and we are getting a sewer smell in the 5th wheel. I am going to say that this is not a full time toilet as advertised. I will have to look into rebuilding the valve on this toilet just like the original toilet. Other than that it is a decent product.

Toilet arrived timely. Everything is in good condition. Easy installation despite close tolerances (went from stinky plastic 300 Dometic model to 320 with a porcelain bowl. 300 model was only 2 years old with minimal use and septic was leaking between the bowl inner & outer cases. Sorry etrailer but the Dometic 300 models should not be sold, they are a sanitary hazard even for occasional use. Anyways back to 320 model, simple and easy to install. Chasing the mounting bolts in mounting plate slots gave me some exciting competition but I prevailed. Highly recommend this model.

by:

Far superior than the old Thetford
Easy
install I had to get the correct compression elbow and adjust the height of the water connection

by:

The elongated bowl is a definite improvement and it fit perfectly in our B+ because it is made so the bowl fits back further, thus not taking up any more space.

As described easy installation

Great toilet for our Motorhome remodel. Residential size is so much more comfortable and works great even in Our small bathroom

by:

I am glad I purchased this toilet from Etrailer. Its much better than the plastic POS that came with it new. Great service and shipping like always. I own a 2020 Coachman Freelander 26DS Chevy cutaway. It was a tight fit but no problem on the installation. Solid toilet. I just wish my bathroom was bigger.......: )

by:

Price, delivery, and the product were excellent! The ceramic toilet is a great upgrade to our travel trailer with only a slight increase in weight (about 30lbs.) I would recommend etrailer.com as well as the Dometic 320 to anyone interested in an upgrade to their RV.

After a year of use, we are still very pleased with the Dometic 320. There have been no problems with performance and still looks and operates like new.

by:

Awesome modification. Almost like a home toilet. Did replace the seat with a soft close. No plumbing necessary, did install a shut of valve though since it was apart.

by:

I’m in love. Swapped out original plastic rv toilet and couldn’t be happier. Etrailer never fails to impress with lowest prices fast shipping!!!

by:

The toilet has been perfect! So so happy with my purchase! So much more comfortable than the original RV toilet.

I won’t hold water in the bowl is there an adjustment I can do to tighten the seal?

Etrailer Expert

It sounds like that it could be a bowl seal issue and we do have a few suggestions to help. The first thing I would suggest is carefully wiping the seal with something like lint-free utility wipe [wear gloves]. The second idea would be to use CLR by turning the toilet water off, emptying the bowl, and letting it sit for a while to remove any hard water build up. You can also try using a think layer of plumbers silicone jelly with the seal. if this does not help then please let me know.

by:

Toilet looks awesome upgraded from 310 this has a lip on top of bowl just like a residential toilet just received it haven't installed it yet the only bad is that there is overspray from spray paint it looks like on the porcelain bowl but being porcelain it should clean easily

by:

I like my new 320 dometic toilet. Elongated wood seat was the correct choice. Super easy to install. Super quiet flush, it is our 4th toilet and best yet.

by:

Being a plumbing contractor, 99% of the time we install ADA EB toilets, this is the 2nd toile like this I’ve installed in my Campers

by:

The seal in the bowl has not held water since day 1. Other than that it’s ok.

We have had a similar review before and we reached out to Dometic about it. They advised that either the seal needs replacing or the ball is not it its track. If you push on the ball and there is no flex, then you will need a new seal. We have them available as part # DOM63FR. I know that it has not worked since you received it. You can have it inspected at a Dometic repair location. If interested I can send you the details.

by:

The RV toilet was a wonderful upgrade to our rig. So much like our residential toilets, solid and a great height. The only thing we should have included in our original order was a soft-close lid. Also cannot say enough positive about the customer service and followup. We did not have any problems with our order, but they checked to make sure everything was as we wanted. A really nice change from today's usually more impersonal service.
