How Miracle Probes Work
The monitor for your RV's gray water tank shows a full reading when electricity is flowing between the tank's sensors. This circuit of electricity is completed when there is water or sludge in your tanks. If your empty tank is showing a full reading, that means water and sludge has built up on the sensors or the sides of the tank. This buildup completes the electrical circuit to give you a false reading.
Unlike other sensors, which are prone to false readings due to buildup, Miracle Probes are surrounded by Teflon. The Teflon covers each Miracle Probe like a roof, helping to prevent liquid residue or toilet paper from building up on the probe. In addition, Teflon is not a conductive material and sludge cannot stick to Teflon. Miracle Probes are also longer than standard sensors, which prevents the probes from making contact with sludge that builds up on the sides of the tank.
Because sludge cannot build up on the Miracle Probes, a complete electrical circuit is only made when your tank is full and the water or sludge in the tank makes contact with the copper tips of the probes. This means that you'll only see a full tank reading on your monitor when your tank actually needs to be emptied.
Installation
The probes easily install into your RV gray water tank's existing 3/8" diameter holes. You can also drill new holes next to the existing holes.
First, remove the existing sensors from the holes in your gray water tank and replace them with the Miracle Probes. Once you have pushed the Miracle Probes into the holes, tighten the nut on each probe to create a leakproof seal. Then connect existing wiring to the new probes.
Once installed, rotate the exterior stud so that the milled flat section of the stud is aiming down and the Teflon roof is covering the copper tip of the probe.

Arrived in just a couple of days packed all in one perfect box with excellent packaging. Another site should take lessons from etrailer. Great price AND made in the USA!
Happy with this product as I am with black water version. Had them drop shipped to ETI where trailer was built. So far they are functioning flawlessly.

I got them a few days ago and today I installed them with little or no trouble. When I finished the tank level display showed empty. So I filled the tank with water to test them, and so far they are working well. After filling and emptying the tank the level indication returned to empty.

I installed the probesin my black tank soon after I got them I found that I could not install them in the holes of the old ones so I plugged those holes with bolts and Silicone. The one's I purchased for the other tanks I haven't installed yet. I will install them before spring. I think the new probes are a little better but I still get wrong readings. It was difficult drilling holes because of the space around the tank

These were easy to install. Most RV tanks have 3/8 inch holes but the old ones can be real stubborn to remove. I remove the electrical cable, loosen, not remove, the nut closest to the washer, then use curved needle nose pliers to give some decent leverage, you may find the bulged rubber won't give without tearing the rubber (not the tank) or a portion might drop back inside the tank. They'll likely just flush out eventually but a 3/8 wood bit drilling new holes can work too. Then installing was simple just make sure the flat part on the threaded part is level so your probe shield is aligned to protect the probe.

The service was great
Ordered the sensors on good Friday, got them before noon on Monday I have had 11 motor homes starting in 1976 and never had a bad sensor until now. A 2 year old motorhome home only used a couple months each summer and all 8 0f the holding tank sensors were bad
They had deposits on the ends like calcium and they trapped material between the probe and the nylon top covering. Even the top ones that were seldom in any liquid had build up. I use chemicals and flush after each use.

For a while, this will just be a review of etrailer as the installation of these probes will be 'another day' since the belly cover of our Montana will need to at least partially come down and this is just not a good time.
etrailer has been great so far :-}

These sensors have a plastic hood that prevents the buildup of solids and tissure paper that produce false readings. These sensors don't provide as much data as something like the SeeLevel system, but for most casual full-hookup-to-full-hookup campers, they are plenty good enough.

They appear to help some with false readings but still have to rinse the black and grey tank after each dump to clean the sensors. Have to fill the tanks up with fresh water and dump a second time to clean the sensors so they work properly.

Worked great, just installed them and now my black tank registers correctly. Took about an hour as I had to drill holes my original ones were the permanently installed type. I only installed the sensors for the 3 levels as the grounding sensor was in a spot that was too hard to access. This worked perfectly.

Came quick and easy to install. Took me about15 minutes to take the old one out and put the new ones in.
