Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement smoke flat lid for the Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent. This is going to replace the flat vent lid for your Dometic FanTastic Vent 1250. And the part number you see there on your screen is FV1250. And just to give you a overview of what this vent looks like and what it includes here. You see the connection point here.
This is going to fit roof vent sizes that are 14 inches long by 14 inches wide. And this is constructed of polyethylene, so very durable. And it's gonna do a good job filtering out UV rays while still letting light in. And so if you have the the Dometic FanTastic Vent 1250, then you can proceed with confidence that this is going to fit. This replacement is directly from Dometic.

This item, part number DMC66FR is the EXACT replacement for the dome lid on the Fantastic Fan model 7300. It should also work for the 7350, 1200, 1250, and 2250, as those are similar models but different features. Do NOT order the domed version of this lid, part number FVK1020, it will not fit!! The lift bracket on that part is different than the DMC66FR and does not align with the lift arm of the 7300. Also, if your lid tends to rattle or make noise at highway speeds, consider installing the hold down latch from Fantastic Fan that installs on the driver side of the lid.
