Vent Cover with Airfoil Technology
A vent cover encloses your RV's roof vent, to protect it from the elements. The cover blocks rain and snow from getting inside your RV through the vent. This way, you can leave your vent open in bad weather. The cover also protects the vent and its lid from wind damage, so you can leave the vent open even while driving the RV on the highway.
The grille at the back of the cover blocks animals and tree branches while allowing air to flow through. This is true of any vent cover, but the design of the grille can make a difference in the amount of airflow.
Unlike covers that have flat, slanted louvers that can block airflow, the Ultra Breeze grille has wing-shaped louvers. This patent-pending design allows 95 to 100 percent of available airflow through its grille. So you can cover your vent without sacrificing air circulation. The grille is also easily removable for cleaning.
This cover fits over all Fan-Tastic Vent trailer roof vents as well as many other standard and high-powered roof vents that require a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening in the roof.
Installation
If your existing vent is screwed onto your roof, you will not need to drill holes to install this cover. Simply use the existing screws on each side of your vent and some caulk to attach the 4 mounting brackets included with the Ultra Breeze. Then secure the cover to the brackets with the included hardware.

“ Be Warned “ Vent cover was received very badly scratched. It was scratched prior to going in the box for shipping. Can believe it was even sent out as a new one. Looks as though this one has been returned multiple times with zero care during packaging. There are other reviews with same issue. I would like it replaced with a new one not a recycled one. Very unsatisfied.

If you own an RV with a Fantastic fan then you need the Ultra Breeze vent cover. Perfect fit and only took about 15 mins to install. Lets you open your fantastic fan about 2/3 which is plenty.
Great price as well.

Our existing vent covers were toasted and shattered. Purchased replacement at local trailer supply. They didn't fit. Ordered these and are perfect. Easy to replace. So far very happy. Hopefully they'll last longer than the previous ones.

This item is listed and recomended by etrailer as the correct vent cover for the MAXXAIR Fanmate 4K series Vents. IT IS NOT! The MAXXAIR Fanmate 4K series fans have a built in mount to attach the corresponding cover to. These Are generic mount covers, that include their own mounting hardware. Even the mounting holes on this cover don't line up, and they are not the same as the MAXXAIR vent cover.
Other than that it is a decent basic vent cover.

Very well made, matches my other 2 vents, however Monaco put this 1 reef vent too close to my center a/c such that this cover is wider than the space I have available. Too windy today to try to Mcgiver a spacer today, if nothing else this gives me a spare in case a tree snags one of the others.

The vent covers were easy to install. I chose white to get the maximum amount of sun light into the coach. The only minor issue is that they do not allow the vent lid to completely open, however that does not affect the fan's operation. I really like to have the ability to run the fans when even when it is raining. I am very happy with e-trailer and my purchase.

So...after reading other reviews I picked this item at random. I'm happy with the overall construction...seems to be a bit heavier (thicker, stronger maybe) plastic. The included instructions were a bit vague, with not very helpful pictures. It's mostly a no-brainer anyway. Simple install and I really like that it 's so easy to remove. (for cleaning or whatever reason. I was concerned that it's not sealed to the roof, but my concern turned out to be unfounded. The day after installing 2 units I was in a heavy downpour while driving on the highway. I opened both vents(one of them a Fantastic Fan) and never got one drip. REALLY nice to be able to open the vents when it's raining. We all know how stuffy it can get. Sold! We'll see how well they hold up to our Arizona sun.
Good price from e trailer...my favorite retailer that I usually use was trying to get rich.
Only thing I would suggest is packaging for shipping should be better. UPS gave them their usual "dainty" handling with smashed corners, etc. but a testimony to the vents...they were undamaged.

little larger than the CAMCO version I had, but still doesn't allow the Fantastic Fan vent to open all the way..pushes the vent cover up a little...mounting required removing the dicor sealant and four screws of the
installed fan...best to put on after installing the fan and before sealing fan edges with decor.

the vent fan has met my expectations. It moves the air quite well and is a little loud when on high but that is to be expected.Rarely need to use high though. the temperature shutoff control is nice although you have to experiment with it to determine where to set it since it does not have a actual temp setting just a dial to adjust from low to high temp.

I bought my first vent cover a year ago and waited to buy the second one until I was satisfied with the first. My local RV parts store had the vent cover but not the optional bug screen. The optional bug screen prevents wasps and hornets from making their happy home in the cozy cover. Yeah, I know they can't get into the trailer, but I don't want them near. I bought cover and screen from etrailer.com because I wanted to be sure BOTH came from the same place. James told me the vent would take about a week and it arrived in 4 business days. Nice. We live in the NW and it rains. It is comforting to be know our vents don't absolutely have to be closed during travel or during rain storms.
