Designed to work with high-powered roof vents, the FanMate cover offers superior rain protection so that the vent can be opened and the fan can be operated in any weather. The FanMate has a wide vent area that maximizes airflow, preventing heat from building up inside your RV or trailer. EZClip pins make it simple to open or remove the cover for roof vent maintenance. And no drilling is required to install the cover over a MaxxFan or MaxxFan Plus vent.
This FanMate cover is designed to work with any roof vent that has a high-powered, high-speed fan, including MaxxFan Plus vents and certain MaxxFan Deluxe, Fan-Tastic Vent, and Shurflow vents. The FanMate is also taller than other MaxxAir vent covers so that it can provide increased lid clearance, which allows you to open the dome of your roof vent more.
The wide, louvered vent area at the back of the FanMate means that the cover provides more airflow in and out of your RV or trailer than standard covers. The angled louvers allow smoke, odors, and stale air to escape while keeping rain and debris out.
This FanMate vent cover comes with 4 EZClip pins. These pins enable you to easily open or remove the cover. When the pins are removed from one side, the opposite side acts as a hinge, allowing you unobstructed access to your roof vent for cleaning and maintenance. To secure the cover closed, slide the pins back into the cover and push them up to lock them in place.
The FanMate vent cover is specifically designed for installation on newer-model MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents. No drilling or tools are required. The integrated mounting brackets on the FanMate perfectly align with the mounting tabs that are molded onto the flange of the roof vent. To install, fit the cover over the roof vent. Then slide the included EZClip pins through the tabs and rotate them up to secure the cover in place.
If you are installing this cover over an older-model MaxxFan roof vent without mounting tabs, no drilling is required and all necessary hardware is included. The MaxxFan roof vent has pre-drilled holes in the side wall that are hidden under plastic plugs. Just remove the plugs and fasten the aluminum brackets to the side wall with the stainless steel screws. Then insert the EZClip pins through the brackets to secure the cover in place.
If you're installing this FanMate cover over any other roof vent, then drilling into the frame of the roof vent may be required. Stainless steel screws, nuts, and washers are included to install the cover. However, if you're installing the cover over a high-powered, high-speed ventilation fan, use the included self-tapping screws to mount the cover instead.
This vent cover is constructed of durable, high-density polyethylene. Special additives help ensure that the material can resist the negative effects of UV rays. And the cover is translucent so that some natural light can shine through.

No-drill installation on MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus vents.This item was not package well at all scratched up the top of it and was bent on the corner, put it out in the sun to straighten it up. Unfortunately the order took 13 working days to arrive it sat in the UPS warehouse for 8 days claimed they did have enough drivers, I had to talk to them and etrailer folks sever times to get the shipment delivered, I guess when you live 100 miles from the warehouse they will take there time. On a side note there was a cargo slide and 3 other items on this shipment. not very happy with T-Force I think etrailer should look for a different delivery service Other than that it worked fine. The only reason for 3 star is packaging and shipping when you pay $XX for a plastic item is should be wrapped up in bubble wrap a least it was stuffed in a box, nothing else in it. Wow.
Love our MaxxAir Fan roof cover…. We are able to use the fan in rain, wind, etc…. Truly a game-changer! Thanks eTrailer,

I bought an open box item. Everything was included, and etrailer's boxes are super sturdy. Installation is quick and easy with my trailer's Maxxfan Plus.
The motor is noisy. When I try to contact the company there was no reply. I have the same fan in the RV already this was an addition to replace a non fan vent so I know how it should sound. I will buy a new motor for it and see if there is any reason to buy the product again. I waited months to receive the fan so it was disappointing the finally receive it and get it installed only to have it noisy.

Told her my problem with first MaxAir II from another outfit not fitting my Winnebago exhausts vent...was too small and could not open.....Tammie went above and beyound researching til she found THE ONE she guaranteed would fit....and it sure did....like a charm. She was knowledgeable of the product and was very patient with me. Send ground and arrived as promised (just wish it had not sat the weekend in Atlanta). Easy to assemble and then install. sold the rig in July 2023 and it was still working like it should.
Reduced the “air noise” from our ac unit noticeably, and increased air flow to bedroom. A worthwhile purchase
Great product and easy to install.. one year in and no problems. Highly recommend these vent covers .
These work great and were relatively easy to install. I made the mistake of buying these, thinking I had MaxxAir fans in my RV. I actually had Dometic fans, and although the covers still fit, the covers are about 1/2" too low to allow the Domestic fan lid to fully open. Another 1/2" in height and I would have given these 5 stars for being flexible enough to use on either maxAir or Domestic fans.

Good design and look. Fairly easy install. Not as tall as I'd like but, the tallest I could find. Extremely difficult to install additional bug screen. The frame of the screen is taller than the grill. Was initially worried about breaking it but, I got it to work.
We are a mobile rv repair service and one of our customers requested we put these over his new fan vents to protect his purchase. They installed like a dream. Easy quick installation and we have another happy customer.

the vent cover came on time and undamaged. i recommend reading the instructions so you don't make the same mistake as i did. once i followed the well done directions it went together perfectly and fit on maxair fan just right. so far so good. i only gave it 4 stars because i just got it.

I have used this cover full time all throughout west central US and Canada rock springs Lethbridge this winter very windy locations. I have had to park this winter backend to the prevailing winds not recommend. I was afraid twice when the winds exceeded 50mph but no problems so 5 stars after a year
easy to install.
As advertised. Perfect fit and quick easy installation.
I would give etrailer 5 stars. The product was as described and packaged well.
I originally had a problem with the timing of the delivery. Their customer service called to explain what happened and make sure I was happy. That is something I did not expect. Etrailer has excellent customer service.
Fit perfectly, came sooner than expected at a great price. Great customer service as always. I always shop at e-trailer when looking for stuff for the RV.

Installation was super easy. I have been using these for over a year now without any issues. I would recommend these to anyone seeking a similar solution.

This cover is as described but needs to be cleaned because the was a roll of butyl tape in with the package and got stuck on the cover. Tape should have been in it's own package if being sent in the same box.
One of the few products these days that is easy to put together and installs in seconds, granted you have the max air fan with factory installation tabs.
