Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Universal Vent Lid. This lid features a universal design. It has various bracket mounting points, as you can see here, to attach to MaxxAir, Fan-Tastic Vent, Comfort Air, Jensen, Ventline, Elixir, Ventadome, and other roof vents. Again, it's a really nice universal design. It's made from a polypropylene construction that's very strong and durable. It's also impact and UV resistant. Taking a look at the overall dimensions, going this direction edge to edge, it's going to give us a measurement of 15 inches.
Going this direction, edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement of 16 inches, and then the depth from top to bottom is 3-1/2 inches deep. When it comes to the color, it's got that nice smoked tint to it, so it's smoke in color. It does have a translucent design, meaning that it will allow some light through. Mounting hardware is included. The universal lid also comes with detailed installation instructions to walk you through the entire process step-by-step. You'll notice that it comes with the side hinge brackets, also comes with the center bracket here.
Now, please note that some lids have a channel-type track slider. If this is the case, you will need to remove the sheet metal bracket and attach the supplied plastic track. You'd position the track such that it lines up with the center of the cover, and then all the other installation steps are going to be the same. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra Universal Vent Lid.
