Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ventline Replacement Dome Assembly in white, part number BVD0449-A01. It's also available in smoke, part number BVD0449-A03. This is going to be a direct replacement for the lid on your model number V2092, V2094, V2119 and V2128, Ventadome Roof Vents. It has the same web shape and it's made out of the same polypropylene material. Over time your lid may crack, break or fade. We're going to show you how to replace it. Now of course this will be in your RV, but for demonstration purposes, we're going to show you right here.
We'll flip it over and this will be as if we we're looking up. First thing we want to do is go ahead and remove the screen. We've got these little tabs surrounding it. We can actually just push those out and begin taking it off. All you're going to need for this job is a Phillips-Head screwdriver. Let's go ahead and take off the knob.
Once we get that screw loose, we can actually just pull up on the knob just like that and set it aside. For our tray here, we just need to push in on each side inward. We've got some teeth that we need to get around, but then it should just pop right on out. You can see the two teeth here. Then we've got our switch. If you'd like you can disconnect it, we're going to leave ours attached.
The other two wires here will be connected to your power in your RV. Then we can grab our Phillips-Head screwdriver again and we're going to remove our arm assembly. Now we'll need to take these screws all the way out. With those loose, it's going to allow us to remove our arm from our lid. We can just slide it off like so and just kind of leave it set there. Then it's going to allow us to remove our lid from our vent assembly. Now this portion will be on top of your RV.
You can actually lift up on the non hinged end of the lid all the way up and then take it off. We can grab our new one. We'll locate the hinge side, go ahead and turn it over, line it up and then turn it over like so. Now we can go back inside of our RV. Back here on the inside we can reconnect our arm assembly. We'll just need to slide this on to the portion right here just like that and then position it over our holes. I've gone ahead and reinstalled my other components. Let's go ahead and test it out. I'd say it's working pretty good. That's going to complete our look at the Ventline Replacement Dome Assembly.

Replaces the white, wedge-shaped, polypropylene plastic cover on your Ventline Ventadome RV roof vent."Universal vents" don't always work. I ordered one by mistake from that giant online storehouse—realized I needed this specific model and it was not offered there. Etrailer had what I needed and also had the dome seal (BVD0455-01), which I also needed. Products were exactly as advertised and with the installation videos (also on etrailer) for the EXACT model ordered, installation was simple. Before and after pics included in this review (previous vent was damaged in a recent hail storm).
Good value, fast service. I added a little dab of silicone grease to the slider because it was hard to install and slide and then it worked fine.
Exactly what I ordered. Supply issues made this a long term order but etrailer kept m e in constant contact with part arrival dates.
We've now replaced 2 of these on our trailer. Works great. Relatively easy fix to improve the look and function of our vents. I recommend also replacing the dome seal for ventadome vents at the same time. Super easy to install!
System has worked well. Kit came to me without installation instructions which required several hours of head scratching to figure out how to install.
It was a direct replacement for original, that was damaged.
received it today waiting for two other item from etrailer related to the vent cover assembly.when they are received hopefully I can get everything installed if mother nature will give us some good weather.
My order was shipped very quickly, the new part fit perfectly and I would consider this an A+ transaction. I would definitely recommend etrailer for your camper equipment needs!
After a hailstorm cracked our original vent dome, which was 10 years old. I didn’t think that I’d find a direct replacement. I searched with the original part number and found this one. Fit like a glove and was very easy to install. I’ve made a few purchases from etrailer, and not been disappointed. Thanks
I can't believe you had this part for my 15 yo trailer. Price was right and shipped super fast! Great job etrailer!
Couldn't ask for better service ordered the part,3 days later it was @ my door step!! I Will be using them for all my trailer needs!!!

Excited about getting these new ones on our 5th wheel for this year.
I entered my camper info in the search feature and it was there. Found the roof vent covers that said it fit. I ordered and they got here within a 4 days excluding weekend. Free shipping was nice. I opened the box and saw the tag that there were 4 different covers. I thought for sure I got the wrong one I mean what are my chances.. Nope it was 100% correct. I know parts can funny for these campers. Awesome job Thanks guys/gals
My original vent cap was damaged in a hail storm. This item was easy to install and has been keeping my trailer dry for the past year.
Nice to have a new vent cover. However, if your old vent has become brittle it is likely that all the plastic parts especially the screen are also brittle and may break as you replace the cover. The cover could be sold with all the parts or the sales description should suggest that you buy all the parts that deteriorate from sun and age. The video helps a lot in doing the replacement.
The product was just as described. I watched the installation video before attempting replacement. It was easy to follow and replacement was complete within 10 minutes!
I needed a replacement vent cover which you had in stock, shipped quickly and was an exact fit and installed in 15 minutes.
Works as good as the original! Had to replace on a cargo trailer after a tree limb fell through it during a storm. After having it on for a year, it doesn't have any sun fade, and still holds tight.
I watched the Video and it truly was just as easy as they made it look I removed the screen, cranking mechanism & then from above the damaged cover. Then did it all again in reverse! Took less than 15 minutes and looks And works like new!
It took way too long to get the product
Replaced old one because of age, works as desired
