Don't trust a single support arm to keep the lid stable in windy conditions
Have a 20' long or larger RV and need something with more oomph to pull more air out
Have a hard time reaching up to the ceiling to switch on the fan or twist the knob to open the vent

I went to 4 RV/mobile home dealers in Lake county Florida and none of them had even one of these in stock. I was glad that you had this available to order.1300062

1. It was easy to order with the Zach's help. 2. It got here quickly
3. Everything came together and all parts were there. (It would have been easier if the knob came unattached )
4. Working great as a ventilation fan. 320373
vent and fan unit is good. i added the vent hood covet for protection and to trailer with vent open and love it! seperate purchase looks like a mini roof air conditioner.
i installed into an enclosed trailer so only sheet metal thickness which meant the inner flange would not be used no matter how it was trimmed.
mounting kits available online had sheet metal screws and urethane caulk.
i do not use those and opted for pan head stainlesss steel screws, flat washers for both sides and lock nuts and a good urethane caulk. 3m marine grade is best but hard to get and long cure time for best stuff. i would not do just any silicone but do the best you can get and look at weather to have the time for cure. for example the best caulk is 3m 5200 is marine grade below water line but takes 7 days to cure. i

I bought this fan to replace my AC unit which I damaged going through a car wash which had too low of a ceiling. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise though because the AC unit hung down too far inside the trailer, causing me to be cautious to avoid banging my head. The fan unit fit excellent and came with nice trim. The fan made use of the AC wiring so now all is well. The fan was a good choice and makes for a smoother roof top on my trailer. I use it for dry camping and don't need AC anyway.574280

Roof vent/fan arrived with no damage and as promised. Installed it tnis afternoon after cutting the hole in the roof...wife not excited about that! Installation was straight forward (13 1/2" square, folks, not 14") and easy to wire up and works like a dream. Wife now excited about that!! Had some issues with the website when I tried to order but a phone call to etrailer fixed that up right away quick and in a hurry! The folks bent over backwards to help this ol' technology challenged swabby get the correct item to fill my need and ordered. Impressed with etrailer the product and their prices. Thank you. What can I say? After many days of searching, I finally found exactly what I needed at etrailers.com. Not only is it a great product from Ventline, but no one can beat the price or delivery time. I needed a roof vent with 110V which is hard to find. Found it at etrailer.com at a very low price. I also ordered a range hood for my kitchen in the camper and it just fits perfect and looks really good and I can hear myself cooking....LOL. My old range hood was an old Jenson and it had to be replaced. I highly recommend etrailer.com as they carry many great products at very good prices. I will shop again when I need to replace or upgrade something in my camper. Thanks etrailer.com for the great products.148775

Hi Robert,Im replacing my AC unit and would like to have a vent with a fan that blows air INTO our RV. As the old A/C hole has 110v wiring I would like to find a fan that uses 110v so I can use the existing wiring to power. Does the fan you bought from etrailer pull air OUT of RV or does it blow it in? I know that this fan is not reversible so I just need to know what direction it works. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Kelly....Those roof vents are made to blow out not in. But I am no vent expert, but for some reason I am thinking that if you can make the fan fit backwards and should work. I know that I have taken a bathroom exhaust fan in a house and reversed it put it in backwards it worked for what I needed for. Also try searching the internet for RV fans, NOT exhaust fans. Good luck!!!

Hi Robert, It is crazy how hard it is to find a 110 volt fan for a trailer! I noticed this fan has a very small fan in the corner compared to a 12v fan which takes up the entire space. Does this little fan do a good job of pulling out the heat? Thanks!Karissa

We have ordered four RV / trailer vents from ETRAILER, and three have arrived damaged. One was packed at ETRAILER in this condition, the others probably were damaged in transit by the carrier. Then the wrong replacement part was shipped. Staff have been very polite and helpful but their shipping department could use some improvements.412853

The first thing you should know about roof vent # V2128SP-01 is that it operates on 110 volt AC power. If you need a 12 volt DC powered vent with a fan this one will not work. But I spoke with my contact over at Ventline and found that the AC powered vent # V2128SP-01 is rated for 100 cubic feet per minute. view full answer...
You are correct; the Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110V Fan # V2128SP-01 does run on 110 volt AC power.
This vent comes with a garnish and fits roofs 2-1/8" to 3-1/4" thick. I have added a link to a video review of this vent for you to take a look at as well. view full answer...
The standard RV roof opening is 14 by 14 inch, if there was a way you could open your roof to that size you could pretty easily install a roof vent like the Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110V Fan # V2128SP-01 that you referenced. But we do not have anything that's designed for a 10 by 10 or 12 by 12 inch opening. view full answer...
Because the Ventline fan # V2128SP-01 is 110 volt, it would have to run off of AC power (110 volt shore power). This item is normally found on larger motor homes and will run when connected to shore power or when using a generator.
Because the motor is an AC motor, you cannot reverse the polarity and run the motor the other direction. It only runs one way. view full answer...
I went and pulled a Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110 Volt Fan - Manual Lift # V2128SP-01 to measure the dimensions of the frame and found that from outside edge to outside edge it measures 16-1/2 inches by 16-1/2 inches. The portion that fits through the hole in the roof of your trailer roof measures 14-1/4 inch by 14-1/4 inch. The overall height of the metal portion of the vent is 3-1/2 inches also.
Check out the video I attached to see these measurements. view full answer...
The Ventline # V2128SP-01 is the newer model and is designed to be a replacement for the Ventline # V2128-611-00. There aren't many real differences between the two except for the # V2128SP-01 has a galvanized steel flange that is going to be a little bit better at resisting corrosion over the long term than the older model which is made from aluminum.
To install this roof vent you may also want to include the LaSalle Bristol Installation Kit # 344270KITW which comes with sealant, butyl... view full answer...
The Ventline Roof Vent part # V2128SP-01 that you referenced wouldn't excessively vibrate or be loud at all.
For an install kit you would want the part # 344270KITW. view full answer...
We carry # V2128SP-01 which does have a 110 volt fan.
The vent # FV801250 has a 12 volt fan and unfortunately we do not carry a 110 fan as a replacement for it. view full answer...
We do sell the Ventline Roof Vent # V2128SP-01 that you referenced. This has a 110V fan assembly that is rated for 100CFM.
To install this unit you would also need the Kit # 344270KITW which includes all of the screws you need plus sealer. A review video has been linked for you to check out. view full answer...
The RV vent with a 110 volt fan that we carry is the Ventlne Roof Vent with 110V Fan # V2128SP-01. This is a 14-1/4 inch by 14-1/4 inch white vent. For the installation hardware you'll want part # 344270KITW. view full answer...
The Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110V Fan # V2128SP-01 that your referenced requires the standard rough cut opening right at 14-1/4 inch square. This is the only option that uses 110 volt power as well. I attached a review video for more info as well. view full answer...
The Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - Metal # V2110SP-24 will work in the same location as your AC unit. It will utilize the exact same space for an easy swap. since you already have wiring to that location, you may want to consider using it to add a fan and the Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110V Fan - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - White - Polar Trim # V2128SP-01 instead. In either case, I recommend the Installation Kit # 344270KITW. view full answer...
There's no reason why you wouldn't be able to use the Ultra-Fab # UF53-945001 Solar Powered Roof Vent on a fifth wheel trailer. My contact at Ultra-Fab has confirmed this for me. view full answer...
There are replacement covers that are smoke colored for your Ventline Roof Vent, # V2128SP-01. The part you are looking for is Replacement Dome Assembly for Ventline - Smoke, # BVD0449-A03. view full answer...
The 110-volt A/C motor in the Ventline Trailer Roof Vent # V2128SP-01 will draw a maximum of 0.77-amperes of current.
This vent fits roofs from 2-1/8 to 3-1/4-inches thick and requires an installation kit # 344270KITW which includes screws and urethane sealer. I also recommend that after installation you also apply silicone sealer like # LT37464 to the exposed screw heads and mounting flange on the trailer's exterior. view full answer...
Ventline Roof Vent # V2128SP-01 is a Ventadome model so you could replace the lid with # BVD0449-A03 for a smoke lid. A model that has the smoke lid and 110 volt fan is not available. view full answer...
Which specific MaxxAir fan are you using? The part number you referenced is for 12 volt applications and you are mentioning AC type power sources which will not be compatible. view full answer...
The only 14W x 14L roof vent we offer with a 110V fan is the Ventline Roof Vent part # V2128SP-01 with a white dome assembly however, you may switch out the dome assembly on the vent with part # BVD0449-A03 with the darker smoke color lid.
If it turns out you need a 12V fan with a smoke colored dome assembly, I recommend Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan part # V2094SP-34. view full answer...
Replacement 110-Volt AC Fan Motor # BCD0390-01 is the motor for Ventline Roof Vent # V2128SP-01.
The motor you need for your Ventline # V2044 is # BCD0314-00 if you have the 100 CFM model or # BCD0390-01 if you have the 75 CFM model. view full answer...
The Ventline replacement vent motors # BCD0390-01 and # BCD0314-00 fit different models of their fan-powered trailer vents. Part # BCD0390-01 fits only Ventline vent model V2128, part # V2128SP-01. This motor has pigtail leads.
Part # BCD0314-00 fits bathroom vent models V2262 and V2244 and offers higher air output: 100 cfm versus 75 cfm for part # BCD0390-01. This motor has shorter leads with a connector.
If you can advise your vent model number we'll be glad to confirm the correct replacement... view full answer...
The correct replacement fan motor and fan for your Ventline V2128 Vent, like part # V2128SP-01, are parts # BCD0390-01 and # BVA0311-02.

When it comes to a vent that can be installed above your shower, I have two options for you. One being the Ultra-Fab Solar-Powered Plumbing Vent, # UF53-945001, and the other, a standard roof vent like the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent, # V2092SP-28.
The Ultra-Fab Solar-Powered Plumbing Vent, # UF53-945001, is a solar powered unit so it does not actually wire into the electrical system of the trailer and may help to pull moisture out of your trailer. It is only 7 inches in diameter... view full answer...
