Video Transcript for Review of Ventline RV Vents and Fans - Roof Exhaust Fan - VE64FR

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Ventline Exhaust Fan for your RV bathrooms. This is going to fit right up into your ceiling. So this portion, of course, won't be seen. You'll have your cover here that will be sticking out, so this is what will actually be visible. Nice, clean look to it.

This is capable of moving 50 cubic feet per minute of air. So whether you have humid air or air that has a foul odor to it, you'll be able to exhaust that out of your bathroom so that everything is gonna be nice and fresh in there again. This does have the side exhaust here. So, as that fan starts kicking up, it will exhaust that air through your ductwork. This does not have a light in it, so it's just gonna be the fan.

You can see it does have your red, white, and black wires, so you can just tie those into your current wiring system. As far as your installation goes, you are gonna need a rough opening of eight inches to get this installed. Your duct size here, this is right about 3 1/2 inches by call it 2 1/4 of an inch, so make sure that your duct system is gonna work for that. But once you get it installed, you can very easily attach the cover here, and it's gonna be a nice, clean look on your ceiling in your RV's restroom. So if you are needing a replacement, or maybe you're switching out one of your fans, wanting to add another exhaust feature, whatever the case may be, this is gonna be a good option for you to get that air moving in there again.

So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

  • Is The Ventline VE64FR A Direct Replacement For The Ventline V2265 Bathroom Exhaust Vent
The Ventline V2265 is a 7" model whereas the Ventline RV Trailer Bath Fan # VE64FR is 8" so it's not a direct replacement, but is a quite an upgrade in comparison. You'll most likely need to trim your cutout hole just a bit for this to fit. At this time this is the only bathroom vent that we currently carry.

  • Can You Side Mount A Vent Fan On A
There is nothing wrong side mounting the vent fans. You will just need to make sure that you remember they are there and that they open to the rear of the van to prevent damage to them or your campervan. I recommend the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 4 Speed - White # MA00-05301K. It has a clearance of 5 inches when closed and will extend up to 9-5/16 inches when fully open. Or if you prefer and even lower profile we have the Ventline RV Trailer Bath Fan Non-Lighted...

  • Recommended Replacement For A Ventline AS-13M RV Roof Vent
An AS-13M is an older Ventline model so I recommend just replacing it with a MaxxFan Mini Plus Manual RV Roof Vent # MA00-03851. This powered vent features a rain shield that will allow you to use your vent in any weather or even while driving. The LED ring light will offer extra light to see in your trailer or just offer a nice accent. I do recommend picking up some Butyl Tape # 344270341410-1 and Self Leveling Sealant # 34427034145-1 to complete your installation as the vent will only...

  • Replacement Options for a Discontinued Northern Breeze Vent Needing Replacement Parts
The Northern Breeze trailer vent has been discontinued, and as such there are very few replacement parts available now. Unfortunately the screen is a part that is not available. While it is not what you wanted to hear, our only solution would be to replace the entire unit. These vents fit standard cut outs of roughly 14" x 14", so the Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V3094-601-00 (white) or # V3094-603-00 (smoke) would be a compatible replacement option.
