Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement first stage water filter for the Clearsource two canister Nomad Premiere or OnBoard RV water filter system. Now this will replace the first stage water filter that's on that two canister Clearsource Nomad Premiere or OnBoard water filter system. It fits the Clearsource exterior two canister Nomad filter system, part number C-S-6-7-F-R. Fits the Clearsource exterior two canister Premiere water filter system, which is part number C S-7-7-F-R, and it works with the Clearsource interior two canister OnBoard water filter system, part number C-S-2-7-F-R, all three of those systems we do sell separately on our website. Now those systems use a two-stage filtering system.
Basically the water will first go through this filter, which is the first stage 5.0 micron coconut shell carbon block filter, and that will filter out chemicals and sediment to improve taste and smell. Then it will go through the second stage filter. Now this filter is I-A-P-M-O certified, and it is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on this replacement first stage water filter for the Clearsource two canister Nomad Premiere or OnBoard RV water filter systems..

Switching from Flo-Pur because these are much easier to find and less expensive.

These filters do not seem to last as long as the Flo-Pur filters I used to purchase. Now I am going to do a comparison.

We finally got the water filter!!! I have to say it's big and heavy but that's not a bad thing. I placed it on a 24"x30" piece of plywood and screwed it down to keep it from tipping over. The quality is amazing I really like the stainless steel fittings. We're so glad we bought it !!
