Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this B and B Polar White RV Gravity Water Inlet Hatch. This gravity fill freshwater inlet is going to let you update your RV's worn out or damaged hatch. And before we go any further, let me go ahead and just give you some overall dimensions so you can be confident this is going to work for you. Let's begin by looking at the overall or the outside dimensions, looking at the width first.

You can see we're sitting at six inches wide. Looking at the height from bottom to top, looks like we're about six and a half inches tall. Let me see if I can give you the cutout dimensions. Looking at the width first, looks like we're sitting pretty close to four and a quarter inches wide. And then the height from bottom to top, looks like we're about four and three quarters inches tall.

And the collar depth, looks like we're sitting pretty close to right at about an inch and a half or so on that collar depth. And then the overall depth, pretty close to looks like, two and seven eighths, almost three inches on that total depth. So this gravity fill opening and spout, it's going to let you fill your fresh water tank. And as you probably already saw, it does use a barbed connection inside and this'll fit your one and three eighths inch or one and a quarter inch hose to tank. And then the twist on cap here is going to hold fast and keep the fill clean.

As you can see, it's really got a secure connection and you can see the cap is tethered, so you're not gonna have to worry about easily losing the cap. So I'm gonna go ahead and secure that again, kind of reminds me of like, a gas cap on your vehicle. So that's going to secure in place, keeping your fill clean, preventing water loss. You probably already saw that this does include an air vent right there. That's of course, going to balance air pressure for smooth water flow, you'll just attach a three eighths of an inch tube there and that tubing is sold separately from this.

This does have a locking door with the key included, so insert the key here, give it a turn and that's going to secure that door. This is a global link key that's included with this. Gonna turn again, it's gonna allow me to open that back up so it will secure that door, which is nice. This is made here in the USA of UV-stabilized plastic. So this isn't going to fade, it's not going to yellow. It's resistant to impact and salt. Very durable, very strong. It's gonna do a great job of resisting those elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. This is NSF, IAPMO, CSA and TEI certified, and this includes everything that you see here on my table before me. You're gonna get the mounting hardware. If you notice, the screws are color matched, the heads of the screws are color matched with this white plastic. So that's a nice touch that B and B does. Then of course, it includes the lock, the key and butyl tape. But I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you.
