Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this B&B RV city water inlet with a nice plastic flange and the plastic check valve in black. So folks, this city water fill with the included check valve will replace a leaking or damaged valve on your RV or a camper. The check valve is gonna prevent backflow from coming into the city system when it's under pressure. And because it's plastic, it's not gonna rust, corrode, or contaminate the incoming water from those kinda things. The filter in here, the screen filter is removable.

You take that out, it's easy to clean, easy to replace, and the nice grip collar here makes it simple, easy to hold while you're attaching and detaching the hose. The plug here is tethered in place, so you're not gonna lose it. It pushes on very simply. Again, corrosion-proof, it's surface mount, it's gonna mount flush onto the side of the RV or camper, and it's been UV stabilized to maintain its color. It does include the hardware to mount it.

You've got the three screws. They've already been painted black on top so that they match, and you get a little roll of butyl tape. Now, if you're not familiar with this stuff, butyl tape is basically like a sticky putty, and what you'll do is you'll put this on the inside here, then you'll mount it onto the hole and put the three screws in. It's gonna go right through the butyl tape and give you a nice watertight and weathertight seal. It is a standard 1/2 inch MPT or male pipe thread.

The cutout required is gonna be an inch and a half diameter. This whole flange side to side is three inches in diameter, while the valve depth here is 1 11/16 inches long. This has been TEI certified, NSF, CSA, and also IAPMO certified as well. Folks, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for looking at this with me today.
