Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Water Regulator and Pressure Gauge for RVs, part number A01-1124VP.Campground water pressure can be very high. Don't take the chance that your campground water pressure isn't regulated. A regulator can save you the hassle of a disaster in your plumbing by limiting how much pressure is introduced into your RV. As you can see, it's not going to affect the pressure here on the inside of our RV. We still have good flow at our faucet. Newer RVs plumbing systems may be able to handle higher pressure, but the regulator's going to give you some peace of mind.
The Valterra Water Regulator is going to maintain a psi between 40 and 50.Some water pressure regulators don't have a gauge. The nice thing about this one is you'll be able to tell if there's low pressure coming from your city water. That way, you don't think there's a problem with your RV. Of course, if you have high pressure, there may be something wrong with your regulator. Now, pressure regulators can get clogged, which can cause an inaccurate reading in our pressure.
The nice thing about this one is that it has a screen to prevent dirt and debris from getting inside. It's a lead-free design. It's easy to install. We'll go ahead and show you that now. First thing we need to do is locate our city water connection on our RV. Then we can take our regulator.
We'll be working with the male end, and we're going to thread that in. Now, I want to make sure that my regulator gauge is on top. That way, I can easily read it. Now, you don't need to over-tighten this. Just get it nice and snug, therefore you won't have any leaks. Then we can take our hose and connect it to our regulator.
Now, the nice thing here is, is that it rotates for easy connection. Again, we're just going to get that nice and snug. That way, we don't have any leaks. We turn the water on, and as you can see, it's holding at around 40 psi. Now we're going to turn it all the way up. As you can see back at the gauge, with the hose turned on all the way, it's still holding at 40 psi. It's doing its job.And that's going to complete our look at the Valterra Water Regulator and Pressure Gauge for RVs, part number A01-1124VP.

As described and shipping on time!
The product looks great. However, I have not had an opportunity to try it out.
All products I have ordered from etrailer have been great quality and I have only positive feedback. Customer representative, Paula, was delightful and most helpful. She took special care to answer my questions and made me feel confident with my purchase. I have not had the RV porch light installed yet, nor have I used the water pressure regulator. Will make a trip in September and use them at that time. Don't have a photo for you yet.
Received product and totally satisfied. I received my water pressure regulator in two days. Package arrived intact with no damage during shipping. I did not get to test the regulator until a few days later. My family goes camping a lot with our rv. I bought the regulator because a lot of campsites do not have a regulated supply and high water pressure can damage the plumbing of a travel rv. Some sites put out much more pressure in these parks than is safe for the plumbing in a trailer and can cause leaks and failures of plumbing devices. I found out the hard way. I tested this regulator and it stayed at a steady water pressure of about 42-43 psi, even with the faucet turned on all the way. And simple to use, just screw it on the faucet at the parking spot and then connect your water hose to it. Arrived earlier than expected, is well made, and it works! What else can I say? Excellent service and follow up. Could not be more pleased; highly recommend.
Water pressure regulator looks to be well made and pressure gauge is easy to read. I will be using this regulator at rv park potable water faucet to keep pressure between 40 to 50 psi and the gauge will show me what the actual pressure is going to my rv. I purchased this regulator to protect my rv plumbing from damage caused by high water pressure. This regulator is exactly what I ordered and arrived well packaged and free of damage. etrailer videos and reviews helped me making this purchase. I will be ordering more items soon.
I installed the pressure gauge/water regulator. It shows 40. I have a 1998 Dutchman. Don't figure that will blow the pipes. What ruins the regulator pressure is adding a WALMART water purifier. It drops the 40 lbs to 30 I swear. So I threw it away. The product looks like the picture and works like it says it will. Will see how it goes. Thank you!
I ordered and received the product in good time and in excellent condition. It was easy to connect (using the large orange collar) and the pressure guage is accurate. I would definitely buy from George at etrailer.com again.
Thanks for the great service George!

Gauge no longer works. Stored in garage over winter so perhaps the cold weather was the culprit and not the gauge. Even when not hooked up the gauge reads 45 psi.
I purchased this pressure relief valve to control the water pressure to my boat when it is hooked up to city water. It arrived on time and was very simple to install ( no more than 10 minutes). It reduced city water pressure from approximately 65 PSI to 40 PSI which is th safe design PSI for my water system.
I would buy from etrailer.com again.
I patiently waited for this item. etrailer informed me that the item was not in stock. They offered me a similar choice, but I elected to wait until my entire order was filled.
Thank you
The product has not been put in service yet. It should provide safe water pressure regulation from high pressure campground sources and protecting motorhome plumbing. I chose Valtera Co. product even though it cost more than similiar devices which allows reading actual pressure on its meter.
Everything I ordered came in one box and was all in good condition. The delivery time was great. I have used etrailer.com now for many things needed for my truck and travel trailer. They never disappoint. This service is awesome. They answer questions with there help line and give lots of documentation to help with setting up and using your purchase. Many of the brick and mortar stores need to learn how to serve the customers as well as etrailer does.
So easy to order from the website which always has a useful description of the product and ample reviews to read. The water pressure regulator I ordered is excellent quality as is the surge protectir.
I’m not sure of the accuracy, or calibration, but it is reassuring to see a pressure reading and that the regulator is doing its job. I give it only four stars for this reason.
I am happy with the product.
should I have water pressure problems the gauge allows me to see if it's in the camper or the campground
Super for regulating water pressure, good product. I added a flex hose to it for easier use.
My livestock need constant fresh water and this is the cheapest and best way to reduce water pressure for a water trough. Attach the pressure reducer to the spigot.... attach the water hose to the pressure reducer... turn water on... constant fresh water. The price is less than half for a pressure reducer from Lowe's or Home Depot and you don't have to cut the line to attach their pressure reducer. Without the gage this water pressure reducer is $10...
Installed it on my motorhome and the first thing I noticed was that the gauge filled up with water and leak like a sieve. I use it and had to throw it away. Will never buy another one because they're cheap and do not work. Chinese junk
hook up your rv hose without a concern about the campsite water pressure.
Have not used it yet but sure it will work well
Very Good quality for the price. Easy to see what the pressure is in system and prevent damage to RV lines.
Appears to be a quality item, and should prove to be a worthy tool in controlling incoming water pressure in our fifth wheel camper.
I like knowing what kind of pressure we are getting. I thought with this that you could twist to change pressure, but it doesn't work like that. Recommend this to anyone who wants to make sure they won't blow lines inside camper.

We still enjoy the product we had purchased and actually plan on buying more this coming season.
Product seems heavy duty and worked as advertised. It kept the water pressure at about 43% and was very easy to install.
