The RV Rider platform-style hitch bike rack makes it simple to carry 2 electric bikes on the rear of your motorhome, fifth wheel, or flat-towed vehicle. This rack is easy to use, and it features padded clamps and adjustable wheel hoops, so you can quickly load and unload your bikes. A locking hitch pin with an anti-rattle system tightens the rack's shank to your hitch receiver to prevent it from rattling around inside the tube.
Locking, Padded Clamps
Constructed of rugged plastic, the RV Rider uses padded clamps with hand knobs to secure your bikes by the frame or seat post. The clamps are easily adjusted along the vertical tubing and lock securely in place. Each clamp functions independently, which means you can position them to carry bikes of different heights.
If you are transporting a carbon fiber bike, do not use the clamp on the frame. Instead, attach the clamp to the seat post to prevent damaging the frame.
Adjustable Wheel Hoops
The wheel hoops accommodate bicycles with wheelbases up to 60" by sliding along the horizontal arms. They secure in place with easy-to-use hand knobs, and ratchet straps fasten the wheels to the hoops. These universal wheel hoops will fit standard and fat tires up to 5" wide.
Folding, Tilting Design
The rack tilts up and down, without bikes loaded, for storage and access to your rear cargo area. To lower the rack, remove the pin, hand knob, and carriage bolt, then tilt the rack down.
To raise the rack, remove the hand knob and carriage bolt, then fold the rack up and reinsert the hardware. After, you can use the hook and loop strap (similar to Velcro) on the frame clamp and connect it to the wheel holder, which helps secure the mast in place.
Easy Installation with Locking Hitch Pin
The RV Rider easily installs in the hitch with the locking hitch pin. Just slide the shank into your receiver, insert the hitch pin, and attach the lock pod. The locking pin works as an anti-wobble device to eliminate sway and rattle in the receiver. It also comes with a hitch tightener to help reduce vertical wobble by pressing the shank against the receiver. It attaches to the top or bottom of the flange on your receiver using a U-bolt and clamp bar.
Complete Security for Bikes and Rack
The RV Rider comes with locks for both the rack and your bikes to deter theft. The lock pod on the hitch pin, lock cores in the frame clamps, and the 8' long security cable lock are conveniently keyed alike.

We love our Hollywood RV Rider Bike Rack. We have loaded it on our 87 Jeep Wrangler, our ‘06 Lexus, and our ‘83 Pilot. It is a perfect fit on all three! We needed the extra length to clear our rear mount tire on our Jeep. It worked! We have taken our 4”fat tire e-bikes on many roads from northern Idaho to southern Arizona. The bikes travel well and sturdy on this heavy weight rack. We feel very confident that they stay in place. We are able to load our bikes in a few minutes and hit the road in no time. It is very easy to load. We recommend using the bar grip extenders (which came in the package) to compact the storage area. This rack comes with a tip mechanism to allow you to tip the bikes down to access the rear trunk or hatchback.

We still love this bike rack! It carries our bikes on rough, gravel, uneven roads with hardly any bounce to the rack or bikes. It is very solid and the bikes stay so secure. We highly recommend this heavy duty bike rack. It handles our bikes wonderfully!
I have had several name brand bike racks and the Hollywood Racks RV Rider is by far the best. The rack is very sturdy and lite weight. It was easy to assemble with very good instructions. The rack fits our fat tire e-bikes and my SUV perfectly. The rack is very easy to adjust and while it sits high as to not drag the bikes when exiting parking lots, loading our 60lb e-bikes is no problem at all with the appropriate nethod, one wheel at a time. It is also possible to lean the rack to access the rear hatch on my SUV. The main reason for purchasing the rack is it is certified to mount behind a motorhome or on an SUV while being flat towed. There is literally no movement or sway of the rack behind the SUV. Very happy with this rack.

The rack has been working flawlessly. It is a very sturdy rack, and very easy to adjust the bike locations.
I purposely delayed submitting a review until we had a chance to really test it. We have just arrived in New England from GA and the bike rack has performed well. The interstates had many bumps along the way but our 2 bikes (1 ebike 50lbs/1 mountain bike 35lbs) remained secure on the back of our RV at 65 mph. I would rate 4.5 stars if possible, our issue was one of the locks was stubborn and I had to spray it with some lubricant.We also had one of the wheel strap cushions fall off and it took some time to find it since it is all black. I have orange duct tape on them now and spray painted the nuts & washers that are removed when using the rack. Very happy with our purchase.

No problems with the Hollywood Bike Rack. We have logged about 4K miles using the rack to carry my wifes EBike and my mountain bike. Holding up strong.
I bought this rack early in the spring and finally installed it on our motorhome for our first trip with our new e-bikes last week. I am impressed with how solid the rack is and how it holds the bikes in place - they didn't move! No wiggling or swaying and after several hundred miles, the bikes still look brand new! I'm particularly grateful for all the security features and am comfortable that our new bikes won't be subject to theft.
I usually get lost in the instructions and end up breaking something when I install anything. Not this time! I took my time and followed the directions easily and apparently did everything right. It all went together perfectly.
Loading the bikes was easy (again following the instructions carefully).
I highly recommend this bike rack!

I love this rack!! Weve used it a lot over the last year. Unfortunately, we wont be able to use it any longer. Due to my wife having health issues, we replaced her XP2.0 Lectric e-bike with a Lectric e-trike. Im hoping that the trike carrier adaptor you make for this rack can be modified and approved for use on my RV.
This is an excellent bike carrier. Very well built and solid design. My two Trek Verve 4 e-bikes fit perfectly. Very stable with no movement on the back of my fifth wheel camper. Fairly easy to assemble. Takes a little time to assemble and adjust to fit the way you want it to fit your bikes. I highly recommend this bike carrier.

I have owned this bike carrier for a year now and it is an outstanding bike carrier. No rub marks on your bikes anywhere. I have traveled some pretty rough roads at times and it has performed very well. I highly recommend this carrier.
2month update: We love our Hollywood RV bike rack!! The 2” hitch fits perfectly for a secure connection. We carry 2 beach bikes on our travels. The rack was easy to install, easy to set up for carrying bikes and easy to fold up when not carrying! The bikes fit snugly on the rack and nothing moves or rattles going down the road. Glad we listened to etrailer advice and purchased upgraded rack designed for use on RV flat tow vehicle! Excellent product!! I did add extra reflector tape to aid in seeing at night when folded up not carrying bikes.
This rack is a beast. Arrived on time, in good shape and fairly easy to assemble. I can easily see why it is rv approved. I love the multiple locks and security cable as well as the versatile design to accommodate most bike sizes, shapes and tire widths, including ebikes. We ride mountain bikes and gravel grinders now but this rack will suit us if/when we add ebikes to our fleet in the future. Also, the folks at etrailer are the best!
I think this is my second time ordering from etrailer. Both products were “as advertised” and delivered on time.
Regarding the Hollywood e-bike carrier, it was the only one I could find that was RV and e-bike approved AND attached to the seat posts of the bikes. It was well packaged, easy to assemble (great instructions) and, so far, has met or exceeded my expectations.

I haven't used the bike rack yet, but these are my impressions after unpacking, putting together, and adjusting for our E-Bikes.
(1) The manufacturer packaging was excellent. No scratches or missing parts.
(2) The install instructions are excellent. Clear and some useful text to go with good pictures.
(3) The components seem to be very well made. Fit and finish is good and made of substantial parts.
Will use on the back of our fifth wheel RV for a short trip in a few days.
Emily was amazing. She answered my call right away, fixed my ordering mistake within 60 seconds, and they delivered a great product. Note: The service provided would not have been provided by Amazon.
Supporting comment: I'm an avid, long-time RV'er. 6-9 months a year working from the road in 350 sq. ft of living space. I use Amazon a lot. I have seen etrailer pop up in searches for product at the same or better price. Yet I continued to use Amazon. Why, I ask myself. Answer, I already have an Amazon account set up, I'm familiar with it, and my RV rental expense credit card is already saved on the platform along with the dozens of addresses I use across the US.
Give etrailer a test drive. Add it to your vendor options. I don't think you'll be disappointed. You'll also be supporting a small family owned business with good values.

Been using the Hollywood Bike Rack for over a year now. 3 trips, 20,000 miles and almost daily onoff use on the back of our 5th wheel. The amount of bounce and force is considerable on the back of a 35 trailer and this rack handles the weight of 2 ebikes 140lbs. well. The only thing to consider is a flat on a fat tire bike. If you lose 4 of height while driving due to a flat, the weight of the bike can pull out of the clamp and the bike will fall out. You absolutely must have a back up tie on the rear bike. This did happen, but we had a cover over the bikes and the rear bike stayed in the bag until we reached our destination. Had it not been in the cover, it would have fell away from the trailer, hit the road and probably fallen off. Use a velcro safety strap in addition to the clamp.
Yes follow up review. Yes this rack is the best . Lamented over the price at first , but our RAD e-bikes are very heavy and I can see you need a top quality rack to safely transport them. Very satisfied. One note have added extra tail lights cause bikes block our trucks rear tail/ stop lights. Fear of being rear ended. Hollywood should developa a system.

Mounted this on our 37’ alpine fifth wheel. We have two lectric e-bikes and have traveled about two thousand miles and some on really rough roads. Bike rack has been awesome. Would recommend it!
I've had the Hollywood rack for several months now and it has carried my 75 pound fat tire bike with me to dozens of events in several states. Assembly and installation was easy. I did add lights to the rack using some inexpensive LED light bars, clamping them to the wheel holders on each side. Clearance for the tailgate of my Hyindai Pallisade is close with the aftermarket hitch I have installed. Everything has to be folded down in the right spots to clear but it works fine.
This is a very solid e-bike rack. Our bikes are over 70 lbs. each so we needed a heavy duty rack. My only suggestion to Hollywood Racks is for a ramp or ramps to help with loading the heavier bikes. I would definitely purchase one to make loading the bikes a bit easier.
We love this bike rack and etrailer! It arrived very fast. We purchased it to mount on the back of our motorhome but we've actually ended up with it on the back of our tow vehicle. It is super sturdy and was fairly simple to assemble(by watching youtube video). Our RadMini bikes are pretty heavy so getting that inside bike on the rack is a little bit of a challenge for one person but not really a fault of the rack. We are very happy with our purchase and will hopefully get many more years use out of it!
I really like this rack so far. Not many models are suitable for carrying 2 60lb Ebikes on a Class A motorhome. Assembly was fairly easy, with good written and video instructions. The rack is very sturdy and the bikes feel very solid when installed. I may update this after our first long roadtrip.
The bike rack was very easy to assemble, the instructions were very thorough and complete. The bike rack is very sturdy, no bike movement at all. My Rad City Step Thru and Rad Runner e-bikes fit very well on the bike rack installed on a Entegra Vision XL 34g Motorhome. No hitch extension was required. Plus the bikes were able to be positioned in such a way that the Motorhome taillights are clearly visible. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thank you.
We have owned it for a year now. Hanging off the back of a fifth wheel carrying 2 mountain bikes. Excellent product. No signs of any wear. I would buy again.
The bike rack did not hold up. We had to stop several times on our 10 week trip to weld it together. It was a constant worry, it bent to an fro on the back of our trailer regardless of how we strapped or braced it. At the very end of our trip, we had to load the bikes in our 24 foot RV. The rack was poorly made and is not meant for heavy bikes. Terrible produce.

I am surprised that the bike rack did not hold for you. As long as the bikes did not weigh more than 80 pounds per bike and it was not being used with a 1.25 to 2 inch adapter or bumper-mounted hitch adapters it should be fine. I will have the manufacturer reach out to you. The bike rack does have a limited lifetime warranty.
The hitch was straight forward in the assembly. Functioned nicely with my two Model Rs from Electric Bike Company, total weight of two bikes is 120 lbs.
I have it on the back of my Jeep Wrangler for flat towing behind the RV.

Rack is strong and sturdy. After a year of frequent use, I highly recommend this rack!
Works great for 2 ebikes. Take your time on initially fitting bikes to get everything adjusted. Keeps bikes held tightly and secure when locked.
We picked this bike rack because it was rated for ebikes, and supports them on a towed vehicle behind a motorhome. The assembly was easy and putting the bikes on the rack and securing them is easy as well. Great bike rack, highly recommended.

Although it is possible to fit an ebike on this rack; it is not recommended since it was not built to fully support more than one ebike at a time. It's possible to fit ebikes on this rack, but not recommended. I am more than happy to get a return process started for you. Have you used the rack, besides initially attempting to hook up your bikes?
Very solid and well built. Mounted on the back of my 42’ fifth wheel with two electric bikes and my friend who was following said the bikes never moved after a thousand mile trip. Our next trip will be about 8000 miles and I have no concerns about the bikes making the trip safely.
Carry’s our E-bikes nicely on the back of our 5th wheel. Very little rocking or movement of any type.
