Hey guys. Today we have a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. And we're going to take a look at and show you how to install these Weathertech side window air deflectors for the front. Now, if you want to also pick up the deflectors for the rear windows, they sell them as a kit just at etrailer.com. These are going to be a nice addition for your Caravan. You install them on your windows, and when you want to crack down your windows just a bit down to the bottom level of our deflector, it's going to cut down on any of that wind noise that may occur when your windows are open.
It's going to let the air deflector over it, allow interior heat to escape. Even for those days when it's raining, no water's going to get inside. And the dark tinting is going to help keeping the sun out if you have tinting on your windows. But if you don't like the dark tint, you can also find these in a light tint just at etrailer.com.Now, they're also going to have a nice durable acrylic construction to them. So if you have any road debris, like rocks or anything like that at flies up and possibly hits your deflector, it's going to hold up to those impacts and resist all four seasons.
With both deflectors installed, you can see they add a nice low profile look to your Caravan. And here we have the driver and passenger side front deflectors. Let's show you how easy they are to get installed. Now we're going to install the passenger side, but the driver's side is going to install the exact same way. And what do you want to do is just open up your door, roll down the window first.
Now, from here we're going to start towards the mirror. We're going to take this edge, make sure we feed it through. And you also want to make sure that you get this top right here to sit on top of the window frame. Just get it right up there in front of the weather stripping. Once you have that, just go on up.And then from here we're going to have to kind of bend the frame a bit to you to slide up and in.
But don't worry, the plastic is pretty durable. So we're just going to come down. Once it gets in that track. And we'll just bring it back up. And just work your way back down feeding it in. There you go. Now , here we're going to roll up our window to make sure that everything conforms and fits correctly. So we're going to pull out on the side a bit. As it comes up, we're just going to take it slow. Let the window get used to having the deflector there. We just keep going pretty slow. Now that cracking is normal. I'm just going to pull out a bit so it can fit itself in. There you go.Once it's all the way up, just go ahead and roll it back down. And then do this about five or six more times. Now, once you've completed this process on both sides you're ready to hit the road. That'll do it for our look at the Weathertech side window air deflectors on our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan.
