Hey guys. Today we have a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. We're going to take a look at and show you how to install these Weathertech Side Window air Deflectors for the rear, and you can pick these up if you already have the front deflectors, but if you want both, they do come in a kit, just see etrailer.com. Now these deflectors are going to do a great job of having a low profile look when they're installed. Doesn't add too much to your vehicle and still going to be aerodynamic. It's going allow you to roll down your windows down to the bottom of of the deflector right there so it'll let interior air to escape while also getting fresh air in and really cutting down on that wind noise as the air deflects over the deflector.
It's going to have a nice durable acrylic construction, ao any road debris or anything like that that flies up and may hit your deflector, it's going to hold up to those impacts and all four seasons. Now we have a dark tinting installed on our Caravan right now. That's handy for if you have tinting on your Caravan all ready. So when you roll your window down, no extra sun is going to get in. But if you don't care for the tinting, you can get them in the lighter tint. Just see each etrailer.com.Now we have the passenger, driver's side rear deflectors on our table.
I'll show you how easy they are to get installed. Now before installing your rear deflectors, we want to make sure you remove this little yellow tape right here. That's kind of protecting the adhesive that helps your deflectors stay up and in the window. But for demonstration purposes we're going to leave that step out. Now you want to make sure that you install the front of it first with this rounded edge right here.
The other side is going to have this cut out edge, but you want the rounded edge still up towards the front of the van. So we just put that up in the corner and want to bring this side down to where it can fit into the track. And then we're just gonna push it up so we can get all sides of it in and make sure you push up on all of it.And then we're going to roll up the window about five times, making sure we get the delector to fit in there. When it gets up towards the top, we'll just pull up on the deflector a bit so it can squeeze itself in there. Once it does that, you're going to unroll it and then repeat this process four more times.
Now once you've repeated this process for the other side, you're ready to hit the road. And that'll do it for our look on our Weathertech Side Window air Deflectors for the rear on our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan.
