Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

This portable version of the Mini G3 has a sewn-in S-hook so you can attach the straps to any anchor points that work with 1-1/2" x 1" hooks. Each Mini G3 boasts the same user-friendly features of the full-sized G3: a self-retracting, corrosion-resistant ratchet mechanism, rubber-coated, oversized ratchet handle with push-button quick-release, and vinyl-coated S-hooks. The sewn-in S-hook also has a spring-loaded safety latch so it won't slip off the anchor point.

Each Mini G3 strap uses a 1"-wide strip of seatbelt-quality polyester webbing that extends 6' from the ratchet housing. The strap is easy to control with the quick-release lever. Lift the lever to extend the strap, pull the strap out as far as you need it (up to 6' total tie-down length), then pump the quick-release handle to tighten the strap. Close the lever to prevent the strap from extending any further. And the straps have a self-retracting design, so there is constant tension on the strap, with minimal ratcheting required to secure your load. Dual safety locks keep the ratchet arm in the open or closed position, so the ratchet will not accidentally loosen ro tighten up. And to loosen and remove the strap, simply raise the lever and press the quick release button. When the lever is in the "up" position, the strap will retract automatically back into the ratchet housing.

Each of these Mini G3 tie-downs has a 9/16" punch-out on the back of the housing for semi-permanent, bolt-on attachment to your truck or trailer.
