Hello neighbors, I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today we're looking at these Gorilla ratchet straps with included S hooks. These are one inch by 16 feet long and they're rated an 1,100 pound safe working load limit. Now folks, these are gonna be a very nice ratcheting tie-down strap that'll let you secure your cargo in your truck bed or just on your trailer. And then maybe you're tying down some ATVs, side-by-sides, or personal watercraft or something like that. Now, they are a very nice, sturdy strap.
Lemme move this case outta the way here real quick and zoom in. You've got a very nice sturdy ratchet mechanism here. I went ahead and just put one of these together today just for demo purposes, but I left this one apart so you can kind of see the strap better. The sturdy ratchet mechanism makes it really easy to tighten down the straps and main tension at the same time. It's got release tabs here.
Spring loaded. You can simply pull that up to release the tension as needed if you're undoing it. Now, again, that release tab will disengage the ratchet when you're ready to unload. And the webbing itself on these guys is a very nice thick polyester webbing with PVC coated edges. So a lot of straps, if you're strapping down over the corner or something, you risk ripping it or something.
This one's got a lot better protection on the edges with that coating. Another cool thing I like, I'll show you on the one that I got put together here, it's got these caps on the end of the S hooks. Those safety caps prevent the hooks from disconnecting from your anchor points when you're tying down stuff. So a lot of times we tie down something and we try to walk to the other side of the trailer really fast, that guy falls off, or maybe we had it hooked this way and it falls off. Well, with this guy, you put it around whatever you're tying it to, and then boom, it can't go anywhere.
It's got that safety hook cap there. So that's a really nice feature that I personally like. Other than that, I get the handle here. Very nice ergonomic handle, simple to use, that release tab there. All the steel and everything on the mechanism itself is all black powder-coated heavy duty steel, so it's very, very strong, hardened equipment. Now back to the S hooks. This whole S hook is vinyl coated, so it's gonna be, you know, scratch resistant, that kind of stuff. And it's also gonna be smooth enough to slide over things that you need it to. And this is a hardened steel on the core itself, on this S hook. So don't worry about them breaking, bending, flexing over time, that kind of stuff. And as I mentioned before, I think, it comes with this very nice heavy-duty hard case. That way you can store your straps when you're not using 'em. So very, very nice case here. Now again, these are one inch wide by 16 feet long. Like I said, I went ahead and put this guy together just to kinda show you the operation here. So you simply tie it down so it's tight. It's not going nowhere. And then you release that lever, pull all the way down flat, and that'll pop down this guy. That loose, that's loose, that way you can free spin to pull that back. And as you can see now we pulled all that extra strap, that was wrapped around here, back off. So again, very simple operation, folks. Very nice strap. Again, the safe working load limit is 1,100 pounds, while the maximum load or the break strength is 3,300 pounds. Again, you're getting two straps, one heavy-duty nice case. It's got a nice one-year limited warranty. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up today for our look at these Gorilla ratchet straps. Again, one inch by 16 feet long. I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Thank you so much for your time.

Not a big deal frankly but when I let them know they quickly sent an entire new set of straps. They went above and beyond. Very happy how that worked out
