Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the four-inch wide, 30-foot long ratchet tie down strap with the flat hooks. Has a 5,400 pound working load limit. Now this heavy-duty ratchet tie down strap will let your secure cargo in your truck better, your trailer. The sturdy ratchets will help you achieve and maintain maximum tension on the strap. And basically this length of strap is what'll be installed right here in this slot on the ratchet and it'll allow you to tighten down the load.
Does have a nice release lever right in here that'll disengage the ratchet when you're ready to unload. So if you pull on that and put it all the way horizontal, that'll release the center portion and let you pull out as much as you need or, so moving that handle all the way to the free wheel position allows you to move that strap in or out how much you need. They do use wide, flat hooks you can see on both ends here. This will let you anchor it as strap to rails, edges or other similar tie-down points. And the hooks, if you notice, are a black powder coat steel.
And then the ratchet is a nice yellow zinc finish which makes it corrosion-resistant. Again, to put it in the ratchet position, just pull it up like that, set it down, and now you're ready to ratchet, tighten your strap down. The webbing, if you notice on this, is a durable polyester webbing, four-inches wide, and it's in a nice bright, visible yellow color. This is for a quantity of one ratchet strap. And again, the strap dimensions, four-inches wide, 30-feet in length.
A maximum load or brake strength on this strap is 16,200 pounds, but what's more important is the safe working load limit which is usually a third of the brake strength so that means this has a working load limit of 5,400 pounds. And one note I do wanna mention is tie down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit, meaning the weight of your secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps that are being used. So for example, if you're using straps that have a working load limit of 500 pounds each, the tie down on load weighing 1,000 pounds, that means you're gonna need two straps to safely secure that load. And it is always recommended to use straps in pairs. But again, just to show you how this ratchets, (ratchet clicking) just like that.
(ratchet clicking) Right here is where this strap will install. (ratchet clicking) But that should do it for the review on the four-inch wide, 30-foot long ratchet tie down strap with the flat hooks and a 5,400 pound working load limit.

Product was just as described, very good quality and super fast shipping
Good quality. work as they should
Great strong strap, just like a government issue, would buy again.
Exactly as described. Quality ratchet straps. Delivery was very fast.
Good quality tie downs.
Work as described. Four stars because one of the two straps frayed along the edge after a single thousand-mile haul of an antique tractor. Still usable and robust, but concerning nevertheless.
Great service and fast delivery!
This ratchet strap is huge. It's a little cumbersome to operate due to the size, but it's to-be-expected if you need one for heavy duty applications.
On time good value
