This is going to be a direct replacement for your driver's side side-view mirror on your 2005 through 2012 Nissan Frontier S, SV and Desert Runner.This is modeled after your Nissan's original look and fit. So, you're really not going to be able to tell them that it's a replacement mirror, it's going to look like it came with your vehicle right from the factory.It does have the power remote capability, just like the original, so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.It is an O.E grade, so it's the same quality materials as the mirror that came with your vehicle from the factory. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective Chrome, so you're going to get a nice, clear image. The lens is flat, so you're going to get a true representation of the objects behind you, you're not going to have to worry about any sort of warping or distortion.It does have the breakaway design, so the mirror will fold in if you strike something to deter any sort of breakage.
If you we're to back into a pole or the side of your garage or something, the mirror is going to fold in to try and help reduce the amount of damage to the unit itself.It is made of a durable plastic housing. It's got a textured black finish, so it's going to look just like the mirror that originally came with your vehicle. And it's going to be very easy to install. You can see all of our mounting points here are going to line up with the same footprint as your factory mirror and it's also going to include a plug for that power remote capability. That's going to plug right into where the old mirror is plugged in currently.
So basically, you can just remove the old mirror, put this in its place, and you're ready to go.For those of you who do like the details, this is a replacement for the original equipment number 963029BC9B. It does come with the one driver side mirror. If you need the passenger side you can find that as well using a different part number.It does come with a 90 day warranty from K-Source.
