The SportRack Vista cargo basket lets you transport gear on your roof. The basket opens up space inside your vehicle, so you can pack more gear or travel with extra passengers. A custom fairing helps to reduce drag and wind noise, and the easy-to-assemble basket installs on most crossbars with universal hardware.

Easy Assembly
The basket comes in 2 pieces that slide together easily. Just secure the pieces with the included screws. You can also add a basket extension (SR9036 - sold separately) for 22" of extra storage space.
Universal hardware lets you easily mount the basket to most crossbars. Just position the basket on your crossbars, and insert the U-bolts through spacers and then through holes in the top plates. Use the hand knobs to secure the hardware in place.

Yes, I do like it, however when it rains or I have my truck washed, water finds its way into the tubing and when it comes out after a while there is a rusty type water which leaks out on to my truck and leaves spots all over my camper shell and sides of my vehicle. I think if you were to provide a silicon to put around the joining tubes would be very helpful. I have seal with black silicon on all openings and it does make a difference. All in all, I do enjoy my rack/basket and utilize it quite a bit. I, in addition have added several pod and bar lights as shown in the photos provided.

This roof rack was a great buy. It has held up for a year, and was bought for a B.O.B. twin jogging stroller and a 110liter seal line bag. Everything fits nicely, installation was simple, and it has weathered well with multiple trips to harsh environments (Beach/Humid areas).
Things went great on the assembly! It was simple and easy!

This is a great rack to attach to my car top carriers. I found it to be very heavy-duty steel. It turns my Camry sedan into a light duty pickup, and can easily carry 110 pounds. It will fit just about any car with carriers.
Pleasantly surprised at the quality and workmanship of the product. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase similar products from etrailer. I also appreciated the speed at which the items were delivered to my home. This will make our upcoming vacation all the more enjoyable.

it was avertised as fitting up to 35 Inch bars. it was an inch too small. I had to return it.

Rack arrived in two boxes and took about10 minutes to assemble. We've mounted it on a 1996 Two door Tahoe Sport and it looks great. We've also mounted the full size 33 inch spare on the roof in the rear of the rack and it really looks like an overlander now. One drawback was the mounting hardware. The plastic screw handles with the aluminum inserts are not really robust enough for securing the rack to the roof. Weve upgrades woith some stainless steel from the hardware store. No complaints. Great rack, just the right size to increase our equipment storage.
Very happy with the purchase. Easy to assemble, and to install on the Ford crossbars.
First use was for a trip to Hilton Head SC with all the beach equipment for a group of 6, plus some luggage. Only suggestion-my "minivan" Ford transit connect is fairly tall, and I just had a two step stepladder. Will get a 3 step for next trip for easier loading.

Working out just fine. As for the water leaking into the tubing, I went ahead and coated the tubing joints with a black silicone and it has not leaked into the tubing in the past year. I am very satisfied with this product.
