Today on this 2010 Chevrolet Silverado we are going to install a roof rack from Rhino Rack. We will be using part number DA1375 for the crossbars and it is their elliptical design. And we will also use the pad and clamp kit part number DK227. We have our bars already assembled. We measured out our front rail at 118 millimeters. We measured from here to the inside edge here. And our measurement for our back rail is going to be 109 millimeters. Alright, we have our bars set up. Let us go ahead and start installing the front crossbar. Measure the center of the door jamb to the center of the crossbar. We are going to measure out 9-27/32. 0:38
Once we have our first rail installed, we will go ahead and measure from the center of that one to the back rail. And that measurement will be 31-1/2 inches. Then you go ahead and tighten them down. Using the included tool that comes with the roof rack, we will just snug them down on both sides. Once we have the Rhino Rack installed, we will go ahead and put the covers on the legs and lock them down into place. Alright, with a few easy steps, our Rhino Rack is already installed on the vehicle and ready for service. And there you have it for part number DA1375 and we also used the pad and clamp kit part number DK227.

This custom fit kit lets you mount 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 legs to your vehicle with a naked roof. Clamps mount to legs with bolts. Includes 4 clamps and 4 pads. The Rhino 2500 series is well built. The etrailer customer service person Trevor W. was great. He was so helpful in getting the right components for my Rhino 2500 roof rack to mount to my 2010 Silverado. Thanks for the help Trevor.
Repeat customer of Etrailer. Always great service and support. Here, acquired parts to reconfigure Rhino Racks to fit another truck after a trade. Made the switch seamlessly and racks are now mounted on the new truck. Use them to transport a racing sailing skiff that is not heavy but is bulky. They have moved the boat to regattas around the country without issue. Excellent product.
Mounted on 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Excellent fit. Looks clean on truck. Sturdy. Small amount of noise. I would buy again and recommend to others. Price far better than some of the big names for the same quality.
These made it easy for me to mount a roof basket on top of my truck without drilling holes. This is a great product.
Fit and function perfect. I use this to carry 2 kayaks on top of my Chevy Silverado 2500HD while towing my camper. No issues.
Worked great.
Had these installed for a year now. Have not budged at all, with well over 120 pounds above daily.
Have not caused any weather strip wear or anything, so solid 5 stars.

It been a couple years now. They did eventually shift on me, sliding forward. I would not say it is the fault of the product though. I should have checked the tightness of them beforeafter a long off-road trip tofrom a camp spot. I had not touched them since the initial install years ago. Weatherstripping flattens over time. It was simple to just put them back where the alignment stickers where from initial installation and retighten though. All in all, these are amazing, and handled being tugged on by all kinds of branches, and bumps from some of toughest roads. I would absolutely buy them again.
A year ago we purchased this Rhino roof rack system/kit to carry our 15ft canoe and 12ft kayak on our Silverado crew cab. We tow a retro camper, carry bikes, and have a toolbox in the bed, so the truck roof was our easiest option. We also bought removable Yakima folding kayak holders (because the beam width of our two boats was too wide for the cross bars - need to carry them on their sides). I appreciate the build quality, the sturdy finishes, the strong materials and smart design of this rack. We followed the enclosed directions and the etrailer installation video and it was easier and faster than we thought. We've logged thousands of highway and north woods miles with this rack and it's still solid as a rock! Only one minor issue... the square Euro cross-bars create wind noise at highway speeds which is only noticeable when you're not carrying canoes (they make enough wind noise on their own!). We just remove the racks when we don't use them - only takes 5 mins. It's a great product and we expect it to last for many more years! Great service from etrailer as well!
After a year of use I can say that this rack and it's fit kit is not bulletproof, but it's darn close!
I give it 4 stars because it is not obvious what is loose if one of the feet start to creep on the roof. WHEN YOU DETECT CREEP BE SURE TO CHECK ALL OF THE CONNECTORS ON THE BAR! Not just the one that "must" be loose!
It took me about 2 months to figure this out and the rack is a design forgiving enough that after about 2,000 miles I still have an undamaged kayak and roof!
Solid product that fit well with the other components.
While the quality of all the parts I received and the service I got deserved 5 stars, the fact that the clips which hold the rack onto my roof don't fit (and I was assured they would) gets etrailer 3 stars. My truck is a 2006 Silverado 3500 extended cab and the brackets will not fit over the door rubber and slip under the steel rain gutter. I was told these should fit and they are the only clips they have. Looks like I will have to modify them myself to get everything to work.
Customer service was very helpful making sure that the correct racks were ordered. Shipping was very fast and tracking package provided up to date info regarding arrival of package. The racks were exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with the product. Will definetly consider etrailer for other products in the future.
The rack fits perfectly, and was easy to install, directions were easy to follow. I would recomend this product to anyone. Only issue I had were the measuring strips were missing. Still waiting for them.

Rack works great no problems. Measureing strips came but were wrong ones but I made due without.
Johnathan W. was very helpful giving me advice with the situation I had, carrying our kayaks while pulling our 5th wheel. He recommended the Curt Front Mount Hitch Receiver Custom and a Thule Goal Post Hitch Mounted Load Bar (which I already had). I also purchased a Rhino Rack Square Bar Roof Rack. I received my order promply. I installed both products ( with the help of my 8 year old grandson Hayden ) I am very happy with the quality and easy installation of all products i have ordered from etrailer in the past. I will continue to do so in the future. Now we will be able to take our kayaks while pulling our 5th wheel. Thank-you etrailer!
Assembled and installed the roof rack today. I used your websites video's to guide me. Didn't have any problems, everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this company. The product was very well made.
Ordered a roof rack for my son's kayak. etrailer customer service was a great help in getting me squared away. Very knowledgeable & friendly. I highly recommend them.
Assembly directions were explanatory - the sub-assemblies done at the warehouse made it even easier. The parts went together with no effort. I have a 11.5 foot, 65-lb. kayak that will be carried on the roof rack whenever I travel over 30 miles. I normally tie it down in the truck bed for trips under 30 miles. I have a tri-fold cover for my truck bed and the Rhino Rack 2500 allows me to use the truck bed for gear that can be stowed there on extended fishing trips.
Safely held roof rack bars and kayaks on truck roof.
I bought the entire Rhino Rack package, it was super easy to put on and it came with everything I needed to attach it. Great customer from these guys and fast shipping. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rack.
I followed install instructions very closely, pretty straight forward, but you have to ensure you measure twice and cut once. Not a complicated install but how well you do it determines the performance of the rack. Test drive showed it to be very quiet at city and high way speeds. A paper tape measure should be included with install kit, who has anything in the USA the measures millimeters or 32nds of an inch. Would definitely recommend product, feel it is sturdy and durable. Will meet my needs to carry RV equipment and a canoe if needed.
Fit and finish look fine and match the roof rack. Thin rubber glued to bracket where door hits it, not sure how long that will last. Bracket fits down over rubber weather strip hooking the bottom and looks wide enough to be very stable once tightened down.

Thanks for the follow up. The roof rack worked great. I have since sold it though and purchased a rack for the bed of my truck. I would have kept the roof rack, but the bed rack just gave me added uses besides just carrying my kayaks. The guy who bought it from me likes it though, he purchased the feet for his vehicle.
