Today on our 2011 Toyota Camry we're going to be test-fitting the "Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System." This consists of part numbers RRVA118B-2. Those are the "Vortex Aero Crossbars," part number RRRLKVA. Those are going to be the "Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs" for the crossbars. Then, part number DK114, that's going to be the clamp that attaches it to your actual vehicle. We have the front one installed already. As you can see, the bar has a nice aerodynamic shape to it. That is going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving.
With the other crossbar installed, they have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you want to double-check with your vehicle to make sure it can withstand that kind of weight on this roof. Since we already have the front one installed, let's go ahead and show you how the real one goes on. We already have it partially assembled on our table here. When you get to the kit, it's going to consist of the rubber foot pad, the clamp and that's going to be for all 4 Series Legs. Then, the legs are going to come with the leg itself, the tightening tool and a cover with a lock on it. Now, when we start assembling this, let me turn this towards you so you can see it a little bit better, it's actually going to slip into this T-slot here and this metal bracket is what's going to do that. Line it up on the bottom there.
You may have to loosen this up just a little bit. All right, now we have that slid on. We'll straighten it back out here. Then, you want to take a measurement from this edge out. Now, normally, you would have what are called "measuring strips," where you put them into place, measure them out, cut them to length and put them back in. For demonstration purposes, we'll just do it this way with our measuring tape. All right, that looks just about right there.
We'll take our tightening tool, tighten on that screw on the inside. I think I pushed that in just a little bit. I did, so I'll loosen up just a hair, and we'll tighten it back down. Now, with that arm replaced, the next thing I want to do, again I'll turn this towards you, remove this bolt here and install our clamp. Now, these clamps are numbered, so just refer to your instructions on which one needs to go with which leg. I'm just going to need it loosely installed at first, just so the bolt won't come back out.
I'll get this straightened out as well. All right. Just before we put it onto our vehicle, we'll install our rubber foot pad, making sure that the arrow faces towards the front of the vehicle. These are also labeled for front right, front left, so on and so forth. All right, go ahead and push those back into position. Now we can open up both our rear car doors and set these in place. Before I do that, I'm going to go ahead and put the end-cap back on and lock it down with the included key here, like so. We'll sit them down into place for now. Next, we're going to measure out for our crossbar spread. Again, you're going to have to refer to the instructions on this. With the crossbar spread, it's going to be from center of the bar to center of the bar. Make sure they fit properly. Okay. All right, now we can start tightening them down. Then, grabbing our blue-handled tool, we'll just get them snug on both sides. I'm talking about that screw that we installed earlier. All right, that's nice and snug there. Now, once we get both sides snug, then we'll start tightening them down evenly on both sides, giving it about 5 or 6 turns each side until it's completely tightened down. Now, some accessories you can put on these roof racks, there's a wide variety of things, anything from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes to ski carriers or kayak carriers, although you want to be sure that you obey the weight restrictions of your vehicle when you put those things on. That's good there. Another thing I'd like to point out about this tightening tool, it's kind of neat, it'll tell you exactly when things are torqued down to where they need to be. You'll see at the end here, it has this curve to it. Once you tighten it down, I'll get a better grip here, that curve will turn straight when you're tightening it with your thumb. All right, that's good to go. Now, our final step is to put our covers on and lock them into place. This assures that there's not going to be any theft or tampering of your roof rack once it's installed. All these locks are keyed alike when you purchase it. All right, there you have it for the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System on our 2011 Toyota Camry.

This custom fit kit lets you mount 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 legs to your vehicle with a naked roof. Clamps mount to legs with bolts. Includes 4 clamps and 4 pads.Bought these in order to carry my snowboarding gear around northern Maine, Toyota didn't have racks for my car so I bought from here. Having them on for about 10 months I haven't had a single problem and are as strong as they were when I first put them on.
Solid and sturdy. Installation was a little tricky but instructions are clear and plenty of [online] videos to help.
Everything arrived very timely. Excellent craftsmanship and easy instructions. If I had known about this product sooner I would have bought the day I purchased my vehicle. Excellent service . Thanks
Overall well made heavy duty roof rack for my 2015 Toyota Venza and fit perfect, directions were clear, easy to understand, and the measurements for roof rack placement on the roof were right on. Only minor issue was the rubber pads kept falling off, so wrapped some heavy packing tape on the pivot bar and then they stayed on.
Great roof rack, no problems at all. Easy to install and remove.
Received in 3 days with free shipping, instructions easy to follow, looks good on car, can't wait to try it out, my Thule sidekick looks good also. Needed extra space so my Camry could haul more junk.
The Rhino roof rack I purchased is wonderful and carries my two kayaks on my Toyota Camry great. My experience with etrailer was fantastic , my purchase arrived sooner than promised and was exactly as advertised. I will definitely use etrailer again.
I was in a roof rack jam. There was a national shortage of the rack I needed for my car and our summer vacation was a week away. I went to etrailer.com when I couldnt find the roof rack anywhere else on the web. Another website actually suggested that they might have what I needed.
I spoke to Ashley E on the phone to make sure that I was picking the right parts. Ashley was very helpful and knowledgable. She helped me find the right roof rack and made sure that I received it in record time. I am a customer for life!!!
I received everything on time, it was properly packaged and had no damage. The Rhino Roof Rack is easy to install, the directions are easy to follow. The Thule J Bars are also easy to install and the video on how to install /use them make it a breeze. I already have recommended etrailer.com to another person and would do so without hesitation.
the product is good. it's still on my car, with the roof cargo still on it. too lazy to take it off. putting it on the car was kind of a pain though. but its stayed on from oregon to texas with our stuff. I'd recommend it.
Perfect fit!
I had to have someone install it since I am not savvy about these kinds of things. I have yet to try putting my board on it, but it's on and looks good!
Worst instructions ever. Would not recomend.
Love the product, I recommend to others. Will buy again.
Shipped quick, exactly what I needed for my car.

Installed this and 65" Vortex Areo crossbars on a 2015 RAM 5500 chassis cab/crew cab. It is listed to fit 1500 to 3500 RAM's and neither Rhino-Rack or etrailer would confirm it would fit the 5500. My research suggested there was not much, if any difference, between the 3500 and 5500 crew cab, so ordered it any way. Installation was relatively easy, fit seemed to be good and have made multiple 200-300 mile trips with a 75lb kayak. Good price, great customer service and fast delivery through etrailer.

The rack was fairly easy to mount on my Durango. I was able to load my kayak from the side since I have a bike rack on the rear. I use a bathroom rug and flip the boat up on the car, then slide the boat directly onto the rack. I only carry it this way for short drives to local lakes. There is some wind noise at 50 mph.

We originally got this rack system (Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof Item #DK427) mostly for our Kayak racks on our 2015 Ford F-150, which worked great. Then we totaled our F-150 and the racks actually fit on our new 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 HD P/U. We took it on a 16,000 mile trip from the East Coast to Alaska with both 12 ft. kayaks on the top. Through the various speeds (sometimes up to 80 mph), weather conditions, and the high crosswinds of the mid-West, the racks help up perfectly. No issues or problems. I would recommend these to anyone.

I've had this Rhino Rack 2500 series for one year. I've outfitted the rack with one "J hook" style kayak holder and one "cradle" kayak holder. I am able to securely travel with two kayaks on the roof of my 2014 Honda Civic sedan without issue. During the one year I've had this rack I've traveled over 1,000 miles with two 12 foot+ kayaks on my roof. I can set cruise control at 70mph and not worry about the rack failing. I rate it four (4) stars because the cradles will sometimes move during a long drive and have to be readjusted. This is something that is more cosmetic in the since it looks slightly off, however it does not affect the racks security.

Fairly easy installation. Read the instructions thoroughly before hand and get familiar with the parts. Take care when installing mounting studs onto car itself so as not to strip or cross thread them. Once installed they look great.

After a year the rack has stood the test of time and daily use. I've set it properly and for the most part forgotten about it. I've used the rack to haul a ton of furniture properly tied down to my sedan's roof.Ive also postponed getting a larger car by gaining space in the roof box. I still recommend this product.
