Video Transcript for Rhino Rack Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Scion xB
Today with us we have a 2012 Scion xB and well be testing a Rhino rack roof-rack system. Well be using the bars part number da1375 as well as fit kit part number dk152. We already have our roof rack assembled according to the instructions and now were ready to fit it up on our vehicle. To position the front bar were going to measure from the center of the door seam to the center of the front tower. We need to set our bar on this front measurement at nine and one sixteenth of an inch. Once we have our front bar in position well go ahead and fit the clamps to the frame of our door and use the included wrench to tighten them down.
With the front bar tightened were ready to move to the rear bar. Again well set the rear bar up on top of our roof. To position the rear bar well measure it from the center of the front bar to the center of the rear bar. We need to set this measurement at 27 and nine sixteenth inches on both sides of the vehicle. This measurement is also known as the cross bar spread and will come in handy when selecting accessories to use with your roof rack.
Once we have the rear bar in position well tighten it down the same way we did the first. With that our roof rack is installed and were ready to load up. That does it for our test fit of the Rhino rack roof-rack system for our 2012 Scion xB. .

Very impressed with this rack system so far! Was hesitant at first based on some reviews talking about wind noise, but with the windows up I can hear almost no difference. The noise isolating strips are inside the rack after removing the end cap, so be sure to give them a good shake before assuming they are missing (as per the instructions). Very sturdy and assembled easily.

2015 Scion xB
We just put up the rack on our Scion XB 2015. Super easy to install with instructions given from YouTube. We did a test drive through the town and on the freeway to see if there was any noise, nothing. So far so great. Package came in the time it said it would show up and just in time for our trip. I'd definitely buy through here again and another Rhino Rack if I needed I one.

I love the racks, instructions were understandable, one of my end caps came in bad, it can wiggle off after locking but I emailed etrailer and they arranged a replacement quick with rhino rack, pretty nice of them, comes with rhino rack decal and just have to decide where to put it, out my bike up and took it for a test drive and it was very nice, I love their package because it comes with locks and way cheaper than the competitors, very satisfied

The roof rack is great, just pretty pricy, by me standards.
My only problem with the whole experience was that the roof rack comes in there separate packages. In my order, one package was omitted, which created some confusion. I had to go back to the company and request that the 3rd package be sent.
Otherwise I'm happy with the purchase.
I responded to a previous request fro feedback, so I'm not sure why I'm being asked again, but . . .

2007 Honda Civic
My Rhino-Rack Aero 2500 roof racks fit solidly on my 2007 Honda Civic EX. I was really impressed with the construction and strength of the rack system. Also the versatility of the 'legs' with a swivel pad allow them to fit any roof pitch perfectly. The clamps are so solid, nothing could knock these racks off. I added a paddleboard attachment and went surfing today. The black racks also look great with the black trim on my silver Honda. Great product at a much better price than Yakima or Thule.

2006 Honda Civic
I struggled to find a good cost effective roof rack for our Honda Hybrid, for hauling kayaks. etrailer by far had the easiest web site for ordering, with quick feedback on delivery. This was a great option for our 2013 Toyota Corolla! Install was fairly easy, some directions could be made a little clearer but overall was easy and the rack has stayed on firm and secure since install over a month ago.

2009 Toyota Corolla
I am stuck on part 7 of the setup. The instructions do not clearly state the measurement for cutting the bar strip pieces. It says to refer to the DK Specification sheet, but there's nothing clearly labeled as such within my package. Can you please tell me the exact measurements in cm needed to cut the bar strip pieces for the rhino rack 2500 series euro style roof rack on a 2009 toyota corolla.Thank you for the help.

With the Euro Square Bars you also ordered, the strips for the front bar should be cut to 146mm or 14.6cm and the strips for the rear bar should be cut to 140mm or 14cm. These mesurements are specific to the 2009-2013 Toyota Corolla sedan. The strip measurements are found on page 1 of the instructions that come with the DK152 fitting kit. Find the row that matches your vehicle and the column that matches your bar type to find the correct lenghts.

Toyota Corolla
The rack was of good quality, solid and anchored well to the car. Putting it on was moderately difficult. The instructions were generalized for different types of cars and that is where the difficulty arose. There were certain quirks about my Corolla that required me to stop and think for several minutes about how something was supposed to be done. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. The pictures supplied were helpful but not complete. The thing that I really abhorred about the rack were the security screws. They were like a hex bolt with a strip of metal running down the middle (you will know what I mean if you buy the rack). One of the screws was not quite right and I stripped it trying to tighten it. Not sure why they made it that way but that is the one thing I would change about the kit, ditch that security screw. Overall I would recommend the rack and would buy another if the need arose.

Words great on Scion xB. For 2015 model, the size of the rulers is off by about 3/4" on each side. Don't use their guides of 198 and 195. Even with them cut the wrong size, it was easy to install by just moving the end caps out a bit on each side. Not that critical!

- How Do Roof Rack Accessories Attach To Rhino Rack 2500 Load BarsThe Rhino-Rack 2500 Load Bars that you referenced do have t-slots for roof rack accessories to attach to. Check out the picture I attached to see the dimensions of the t-slots. You can also attach accessories around the load bars as well. The dimensions of the load bars are 3-1/2 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall. If your roof top accessories can install on load bars with those dimensions you would be good.
