Specs:
Thule ProBar Evos let you create a heavy-duty, extended-length aftermarket roof rack for your vehicle. The extra-long design lets you carry more gear than standard crossbars. T-slots on the tops and sides of the bars provide multiple locations for installing channel-mounted carriers and accessories. This is perfect for contractors and recreational enthusiasts who need to carry a multitude of accessories on their roof. The bars are constructed of aluminum with internal BoxBeam structures that make them extremely durable yet lightweight. The ProBar Evos require a Thule foot pack (sold separately) to mount the rack to your roof. Some vehicles - such as those with a naked roof - may also require a vehicle-specific fit kit (sold separately).
Tri-Slot Design
The tri-slot design lets you carry channel-mount accessories on the tops and sides of the bars. Big vacationers can carry kayaks and luggage, overland campers can attach an awning, contractors can carry multiple ladders - the applications for this roof rack are endless.
T-slots on the tops of the ProBar Evos let you mount carriers, awnings, and other channel-mounted accessories. Rubber strips are included for the top T-slots. These strips help keep out water and road grime, reduce road noise, and give the bars a finished, professional look.
T-slots on the sides of the bars let you mount eye hooks, baskets, lights, and other contracting or recreational accessories.
The T-slots on the bottoms of the bars are where you mount your Thule feet. Simply remove the endcaps to slide in your feet, and replace the endcaps when you're done.
The bars are also compatible with most bike, water, snow, and cargo carriers, and other accessories that clamp around your roof rack bars.
Strong, Durable Construction
The ProBar Evo crossbars are made of anodized aluminum with internal BoxBeam structures. These structures strengthen the bars without significantly increasing their weight. Additionally, because the bars are aluminum, they won't rust or corrode so you can leave them on your roof year-round.
The bars have plastic endcaps that help keep out water and road debris, and they give the bars a finished look.
Hassle-Free Installation
Installation of the ProBar Evos is quick and easy, and you don't have to do any drilling or vehicle modification. There are bottom T-slots that run the entire length of the bars. Simply insert each foot's mounting nut into the T-slot and slide it to the location noted in the manual included with your vehicle-specific fit kit.
For applications that don't require specific measurements provided in a fit kit manual - such as a raised rail - you can center the rack after you place it on your vehicle using a tape measure.
To complete installation on your roof simply tighten a single screw inside each foot using the torque tool included with the foot pack. This single attachment point enables you to secure the crossbar to the foot and the foot to your roof simultaneously.

Aluminum bars have T-slots in tops and sides for mounting carriers and accessories. After 1 year and several camping trips carrying 2 kayaks and towing a 5'er crossbars have performed wonderfully. Added the Thule Hullavator to help load the heavy Hobie. Great purchase.
Tule items are well engineered!
Great to replace a bent crossbar rather than buying a whole new set with the cost of feet included.
Great product. Super fast shipping and awesome communications throughout transaction. I would recommend.
Great service from Noah who helped me find what I needed.
These bars are the perfect topper for my custom made "over the tonneau" Kayak etc carrier I just built. The bolts to hold the end caps weren't in the package, but I made due until they can be sent. Great looking versatile bars.
We travel the country in an RV looking for places to kayak fish. We tote 2 Hobie Compass yaks on top of a Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. Have not had any issue in over 15K miles. The yaks fit nicely side by side and are easy to load and tie down. We found this system to be much easier than using J cradles. The racks extension beyond the side of the Jeep has not led to any head bumping accidents.
Crossbars are excellent quality, although arriving with torn packaging and missing one end cap
Product was in stock (unlike other dealers) and shipping was prompt. Exactly what we needed to complete the Thule rack system.
These ProBar Crossbars are exactly what you'll need if you plan to put Hullavators on a Ford F150. Don't listen to Thule! They will try to sell you Thule WingBar Evo 150s and they will be too short. You need 4-8 inches of overhang on both sides to accommodate the Hullavators.
First, thanks to Steve, who helped me identify that these bars are my only really long bar option for my 450r crossroads feet. He also helped me figure out the best shipping option to get them to me in time to install before a trip but save me some money. I’m completely satisfied with Steve’s customer service!
As for these bars... I bought then do that I could load two canoe side by side. They look good and solve that problem. But I take away a couple of stars for two reasons. First, they’re loud. Even after filling the top and underside channels with the rubber filler strips, I get both a low hum at moderate to high speeds and a high whistle at low to moderate speeds. Actually, it is there all the time but gets drowned out by road noise. I’m going to try to cover up the back channel with black electrical tape and wrap some parachute cord around the front rack to see if that improves the hum. There may be tiny gaps in the rubber strip underneath the bar where it meets the end caps and I’ll also cover those to see if they’re responsible for the whistle. I didn’t have these issues with the old Thule square bar. I’m driving a Honda mini van, so perhaps most people using these have trucks where the bars are placed higher above the roof of the vehicle? One last note. I don’t see many Thule accessories for these t tracks.
So thank you Steve for great customer service. Thule let’s see if I can improve the sound of these bars.
I purchased this to put on the bed of my 2015 Silverado. I purchased some "gutter" mounts from Summit Rack to use a mounting points. I also puchased the tall mounts for the crossbar so that I could get my cover for my bed open. All of these parts works great togeather. I am really happy with the etrailer.com and all of the communication that I get from them and the pkg arrived when they said and wasn't damaged. Great product and company!!

Bars are still working out awesome. The only time I notice any noise is when cartooning item with cover. It is the cover that makes noise. Not the bars. This has been remedied by placing foam pool noodle between lead bar and roof. If you use thicker size noodle just wedge in place. If using thinner size pool noodle a wrap or two of duct tape holds in place. Viola no sound from above.
