Today we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster EZ Hook safety cables. The EZ Hook safety cables are faster to connect than other cables and they're going to include the features of standard cables with the addition of a unique attachment system. Located on the end you're going to have a stainless steel ball. This is going to latch into a slotted anchor plate. These cables are going to measure 76 inches long. They're going to have the capacity of 8,000 pounds per pair. They're made right here in the USA and designed to work with all Roadmaster mounting brackets with quick disconnects.
The safety cables are going to be aircraft tight galvanized steel and they're going to feature the drop forge steel hooks. They're going to feature these spring loaded safety latches to prevent accidental disconnecting, nice strong durable design. The cables are also vinyl coated to prevent scratching and chipping of your tow bar. These are designed to easily connect to the anchor brackets by inserting the ball ends through the diagonal slots and then pulling down and to the side. Your anchor brackets are going to be the brackets that connect to the quick disconnects and they are sold separately. You can find them here at etrailer.com, if you're in need.
When connecting your cables to your tow vehicle, we recommend that you cross the cables below the hitch to create a cradle, so in the event of a separation that's going to help prevent the two bar from striking the ground. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast .I won't buy anywhere else but etrailer they are great.

Product works fine.
Have been ordering items from etrailer for several years. Shipping speed and price is pretty much unbeatable. If I had a question, they went above and beyond to help.
One of my old D ring cables got drug under my 6"drop down reciever and destroyed it. The D rings were always a hassle to deal with. Theses slide right in and your done.
Was what I order, Don't know why UPS transfer the package over to the USPS when it was 30 mile from my house when they deliver here every day. The post office took other 2 day to deliver the package. Other than that it was what I order at a good price. Thanks Chris

Replacement for shorter cables
Good, but too long had to twist them many times in order to shorten them to a useable length. Easiest way to hook them up. Far better than hook ends on toad.
we are full timing so we unhook and hook up a lot and after having them for over a year now i really like how easy they are to hook up and saves me time.

Quick and easy
Easy to install and work like they're supposed to. I bought my Roadmaster Sterling secondhand and the cables that came with it were just a bit too long for my setup, and they dragged on the ground enough to get pretty torn up. These are the perfect length to allow for movement, but not so long that they drag.
etrailer had the items I needed and I received them in plenty of time before I left for a trip. I really appreciate the fast response.
My tow vehicle went on fire on July 4. If I did NOT have these safety cables, I would not have been able to disconnect my motorhome before it, too, caught fire. I will never tow with the other cables.

Loved the safety chain I just wished they were about 6 inches shorter. Have to use bungee cords to keep from dragging
