Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a quick look at the AceCamp Youth Sleeping Bag.This is going to be a great thing to have on your camping trip and keep your kiddo warm, even up to freezing temperatures. This is rated for about 30 degrees Fahrenheit, or negative one degree Celsius. It has this nice bag for it to fit into, and it also has a little handle at the bottom, so it can make it easy to toss or strap down on your pack. And then if we open it up, we can take a quick look at it.
This is going to be a mummy style sleeping bag, so that just basically means that it's going to come up and over and around your head as you're sleeping in the bag. It's got a really fun pattern. It's a glow in the dark kind of space pattern with a bunch of fun critters on there, so it's not actual constellations, but we've got a lady bug and it looks like a fox, a hedgehog, a deer, so all kinds of fun friends to keep us company while we're sleeping outdoors. Now, it's kind of hard to see the glow in the dark in my studio here, but I'm going to turn out the lights for just a second. We'll see if it shows up. I can kind of see it, but you guys probably can't, but all those little dots on there, they are going to be glow in the dark.
So whenever you have it out there, it's kind of like a nice little built-in nightlight. You can see up here at the top, that's going to be the wraparound head portion for our bag to keep everybody nice and snuggly warm. On the inside, got a little pocket, maybe keep a flashlight handy or maybe their phone or a compass, whatever they might want to have with them whenever they're hanging out under the stars. The inside feels nice and soft, definitely something that wouldn't feel harsh against your skin. And the nice thing about the zipper is that it is a front-mounted design, so it makes it easy for your kiddo to zip themselves up in the bag without having to have somebody else do it for them. Only goes down so far, so it keeps your feet warm at the bottom there. It just weighs about two pounds or less, so it's going to help to keep everything nice and compact.
You don't have too much weight on your pack. Helps keeping your big three, the sleeping bag, tent, and backpack in that optimal nine-pound range, so you don't want to have too much on your back as you're hiking into your camping spot. And this can fit somebody who's up to 5'3" tall, so even somebody who's maybe an adult, just a little bit on the shorter side, can still utilize this fun bag. I definitely think it's super cute, and I really like the blue and green colors and the fact that it has foxes on it makes me love it because I love all those fun woodland creatures. As far as the more exact measurements for this, whenever it's open, it's going to be 70" long by 29" wide. Closed, it's going to be 11" long by 8" inches wide. And the more exact weight for this is about 1.4 pound.
The material for the shell is a 190 thread embossed polyester. And that zipper on the outside is double-sided, so there is a zipper on the inside as well to make it a little easier to zip that up in place.I'm just going to see if I can get this folded up enough to get back into the bag. It shouldn't be too hard to do. As you saw, it folded up pretty easily, just kind of fold it over once and then roll it up. It's fairly tight. I wasn't really trying to get it as tight as I possibly could, which was probably my mistake here, but it's still going. So all in all, I think this is going to be a great addition to your camping pack and should be a really nice bag to keep you warm at night. But that's pretty much it for our look at the AceCamp Youth Sleeping Bag. We do have a lot of other accessories from AceCamp, including camping, cookware, and other utensils, so definitely check them out if you're interested. And I'm going to say goodbye and thanks for watching.

Features integrated hood for warmth and double-sided zipper.Accidentally sent the wrong item. etrailer made good on it immediately. Bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas to use in her new camper bunk. She is “snug as a bug in a rug” in it. Love that the stars glow in the dark.

Great bag! Used during cold nights camping and daughter stayed very warm!
I was impressed when we opened this up. Feels soft, cool to the touch, and nice and thick. The double-sided zipper is easy for the kids to use and the glow in the dark feature adds extra fun.
