Well, hello. It's Evangeline in here at etrailer. And today we are going to be looking at the AceCamp Youth sleeping bag. So this is AceCamp's youth sleeping bag. And what that means it is for people that are up to 5'5" inches tall. I'm five feet and two inches tall.

So it's a perfect fit for me, but it also works for maybe your short teenagers or your taller children. So this comes in different shapes and different sizes. So for your youth selection, you either have this, which is the rectangular, and you also have other options like the mummy version, which comes in colors like blue or purple. The AceCamp sleeping bag also comes in the kid's size, which is ideal for people up to four feet and eight inches. So this is rated for over 30 degrees.

So if you're somewhere where it's really, really cold and you need extra insulation, this might not be the best fit, but as you can see, I'm in a wonderfully warm and humid climate, and this is the right sleeping bag just for that. So this has hollow polyester insulation, and that means even though it's hot and humid, that's the kind of material you want. 'Cause it doesn't make it too hot or too humid. And when you're out camping, I recommend setting out your sleeping bag in the sun before you go to bed because this has a glow in the dark constellation pattern. So when it's nighttime, this is going to stay illuminated for hours.

All you need to do is just set it up and that's it because there are no strings and no cords that makes it a little bit safer. Especially if you're going to have your younger children in the sleeping bag you don't want those cords possibly wrapping around things. You don't want them wrapped around. This has a double sided zipper. So you can zip it up on the outside or flip it over and zip it up from the inside.

On the inside there's this small pocket where they hook and loop patch. And that's where you can put your small items. Like let's say your wallet or your glasses when you go to bed. So on the top, we have this removable hood. So let's say it's a warmer night. You're free to take that off if you want. And if it's chillier and you want that insulation you can just zip it back on and cinch it tight here at the front. From all of my time camping, I am a fan of compression sacks like this. That way, all you need to do is just stuff it in there and it will compress your sleeping bag as you go making for a quicker tear down of camp or a quicker setup of camp. Let's take a look of that set up process. To set up your sleeping bag, just get out of its compression sack. And then if you have your tent set up, I have our exterior rugs here set up. Just unroll the sleeping bag, get ready to jump in, and that's it for install. So my personal thoughts about this sleeping bag is I would see it as a really good addition to your camping setup. If you're going out as a family and you have tolerant kids or teenagers with you, camping with you, this is a fun sleeping bag, but also functional especially in the spring and summer where it's a little bit hotter or a little bit more humid.
