If your RV tank monitor readings change from 25% to empty in the blink of an eye, that's a problem. SeeLeveL sensors track 3 holding tanks with single-digit accuracy at the monitor. Can send readings to a primary control panel in multiplex RVs.

Note: SeeLeveL tank monitoring systems are not compatible with metal tanks.
Traditional tank monitors have a reputation for being unreliable. Only a few sensors are installed inside, meaning that they usually only measure in quarter increments and can send false readings if they get dirty. When you're keeping an eye on how much fresh water you have, the difference between 25% full and empty means a lot, and that inaccuracy can be a problem.
The SeeLeveL tank monitoring system uses technology that can sense fluid levels from the outside of the tank. The sensors' flexible circuit board sticks in place and measures along its entire height. This makes it accurate in single-digit increments.
Multiplex Compatible
This monitor is compatible with RV-C, multiplex wiring systems in RVs. This method of wiring allows multiple components in an RV to be operated by splicing them all into a single wire. This single wire usually connects to a central control panel, letting you control everything from lights, slides, and temperature from one place. This also simplifies the wiring process in RVs, since every component doesn't need to be individually wired to its own control panel.
With multiplex compatibility, this monitor can send accurate tank readings to a primary control panel. It will still work in RVs without multiplex wiring - just wire it normally. But if your RV doesn't have multiplex wiring, and you have no plans to get a multiplex system, then you can save your money and choose another SeeLeveL monitor without this capability.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the SeaLeveL RV Holding Tank Monitoring System for your fresh, gray and black tanks, and it is multiplex compatible. Now, basically, if your RV tank monitor readings will change from 25% to empty and just the blink of an eye, that could be a problem. What's nice with this monitoring system, this will track and display the levels of the RV's holding tanks at just the push of a button. This will hardwire to your SeaLeveL sensors.
It includes three 12 inch long sensors for fresh, gray and black tanks. And what happens is with traditional tank monitors, they have a reputation for being unreliable. Basically, they only use a few sensors which are installed inside the tank, meaning that they'll usually only measure in quarter increments, and they can send false readings if they get dirty. So when you're keeping an eye on how much fresh water you have, the difference between 25% full and empty can mean a lot, and that inaccuracy can be a problem. What's nice with these sensors, these can mount to the outside of the holding tanks, rather than using interior probes.
So we mentioned, it includes three sensors. They're 12 inches long. These will prevent false readings caused by accumulating debris. They'll provide readings with single digit accuracy. And what's nice is these can be trimmed or stacked with an additional sensor to match your tank size.
Basically, one 12 inch sensor here can accommodate a five inch, up to a 13 inch tall tank. And if you stack an additional sensor on it, you can accommodate tanks up to 25 inches tall. The displayed monitor that comes with this will show your fresh, gray and black levels in percent. And then if you push the battery, it'll show your battery voltage. Does have a diagnostic mode, which will check status and signal strength of the sensors.
And it has air codes which will alert you of any issues. And you'll check the manual for the suggested solutions to those issues. Now we mentioned this is multiplex compatible. Basically, it's compatible with the RV-C Multiplex Systems to display tank levels on your center console. You can use multiple monitors, so that you can check the tank status from your service bay or inside your RV. Now, this is a very easy installation. All you have to do is, if you look at the back of your display monitor, if you cut out a three inch by one and seven eight inch hole, and it'll let you recess this monitor. And then, what you do on your sensors, you just remove the backing and attach the sensors onto the tanks and then hardwired them together. If you notice, it includes pigtails on each sensor, which is needed for installation. The tabs up at the very top of the sensor, they're trimmed to indicate which tank gets on. And we mentioned, these sensors can be trimmed. And there are sections, you can see, every one and a half inches to match the height of the tank you're putting it on. The bus wiring will let all the sensors splice together to one line. And also what's nice is the existing wiring from your old tank monitor system can be used to install these. A few specs, again. The application. This is for a three tank system on your RV or motor home. The sensor length, we told you, is 12 inches. Now, the monitor, the outside dimension of it is gonna be right at four inches by two and three quarter inches tall. And the depth of it is only three quarters of an inch deep. But that should do it for the review on the SeaLeveL RV Holding Tank Monitoring System for your fresh, gray and black tanks and multiplex compatible.

If your RV tank monitor readings change from 25% to empty in the blink of an eye, that's a problem. SeeLeveL sensors track 3 holding tanks with single-digit accuracy at the monitor. Can send readings to a primary control panel in multiplex RVs.The installation of these tank level sensors was straight forward. The video from Garnet Instruments was very helpful. I had to order a cable from FireFly Integrations to connect the 709 panel into the CAN bus system in my RV. My tank readings are now more accurate and not subject to interference from debris inside my tanks. Very happy with this product.
