Straight-tongue coupler bolts onto your 3" wide trailer tongue. Pull trigger and lift up on the latch to open the ball socket. The tough zinc plating offers great rust resistance, making this coupler perfect for your boat trailer.

Hard to find 3" bolt pattern in 1-7/8" ball coupler... found it at etrailer with help of customer service... good price, fast shipping and made in USA.

No complaints...Two things I LOVE about it: First, it had the bolt pattern I needed without modification and second, it has a heavier construction than the others I looked at that I would have had to modify. Im very pleased with this purchase!

It was easy to install and it fit my 1 7/8 ball on my 2000 Camry so I could tow my 16' Bayliner Bowrider.

It still works well after a year. Use aluminum or copper thread compound on the bolt threads so you can remove it in the future.

I am in the process of replacing the tongue on my lightweight utility trailer and decided to install a new hitch at the same time. etrailer provided the best selection including various quality upgrades for the particular hitch style I needed. Product was exactly as described. With some slight modifications to the tongue on my Brinly dump trailer, I now have a trailer I can hook to my X300 John Deere lawn tractor using a 1 7/8 trailer hitch ball. Love it. No more getting down on the ground to insert a hitch pin and cotter pin.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 starts instead of 5, is it didn't come with new bolts. Not really an issue, just assumed they would be included.

I received my trailer coupler in a timely manner with no damage to the product, now I just have to figure out how I am going to mount it for the tongue of my pull behind trailer is pretty close to the same size of the channel of the coupler.

- Can Dutton Lainson Coupler DL13728 Fit on Trailer Tongue that is 75 mm WideYour tongue has a width of 75 mm or 2.95 inches which is very close to the standard tongue width couplers are designed for of 3 inches. That would be close enough for the Trailer Coupler # DL13728 that you referenced to tighten onto and work well. Basically I'd mock up the coupler installed on your tongue where you want it and then drill holes using the coupler as a template.
