While on the road, it is very important to regularly maintain your tires and make sure they're inflated correctly. If your tires are underinflated or overinflated, they'll develop irregular tread wear and become prone to overheating and blowing out. The TireMinder Smart TPMS helps protect your investment and keep your family safe by monitoring your tires and alerting you of any signs of danger before disaster strikes.
This TPMS includes 4 flow through sensors that let you individually monitor each tire on your application for changes in pressure and temperature. The flow through design allows you to inflate or deflate your tires without having to remove the sensors. These sensors are able to work on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. Every 6 seconds, they will check the pressure and temperature again, and use Bluetooth to send that information directly to your smartphone app.
The TireMinder 2.0 app is free to download and use. For Apple smartphones and devices, it's compatible with models iPhone 7 and iPad 7 and newer. Apple users can connect to Apple CarPlay to display the details of your tire on your car's dashboard. For Android smartphones, it's compatible with model Android 4.4 and newer. When using the app you will need to have the Bluetooth adapter in operation within 10 feet, as it is crucial for helping to bridge the transmission between the sensors and your phone.
The smartphone app will provide you with visual and audible cues to warn you of dangerous changes in tire pressure and tire temperature, as well as alert you of changes with the monitor battery, sensor battery, and sensor signal. And even if your smartphone battery dies, the Bluetooth adapter will still continue to provide you with those alerts. Before you begin setup, make sure the Bluetooth adapter has been charged and all batteries have been installed. Then download the app on your smartphone and connect to Bluetooth.
Select your RV or trailer configuration or the locations of the tires you want to monitor. Then select one tire location, install a sensor on the corresponding tire on your RV or trailer, and the current PSI will automatically appear on the app. With the purchase of additional sensors (TM66FR - sold separately), you can monitor up to 22 tires on 8 different vehicles, which is perfect for a fleet. Sensors can be added, moved, deleted, or replaced at any point, even after initial installation.
You can set the tire pressure in psi, Bar, and KPa. If you choose psi, you can set the tire pressure anywhere from 0 psi to 199 psi. As for the temperature, you're able to switch between degrees F and degrees C, and the system will alert you if the temperature exceeds 167 degrees F. With the app, you are also able to disconnect and reconnect to different vehicles, RVs, or trailers. This is useful for those who switch between different applications, such as a Class A motorhome owner who sometimes tows a car.
This repeater helps improve signal strength and range of the sensors. It has dual Hi-Db antennas that let the booster cut through signal interference coming from wireless electronic devices used in surrounding automobiles. It also ensures that the link from the sensors to the Bluetooth adapter is strong and continuous. The unit has a green light on the front panel to indicate it has power and a blue light that blinks when it transmits a signal.
This TPMS system includes batteries, locking nuts, O-rings, a wrench, and an adhesive. Once the batteries have been inserted, thread the locking nuts onto the valve stems, and install the sensors. Lastly, secure the locknuts against the sensors with the wrench.
The weatherproof and dustproof Bluetooth repeater can be installed anywhere on the exterior of your RV or trailer between the rear axle and king pin. The optimal mounting location for a towable camper is toward the front whereas the optimal mounting location for a drivable RV is toward the rear. it is not recommended to install the repeater inside your vehicle, as you might experience signal blockage. Use either the adhesive (included) or hardware (not included) to attach the repeater and wire it to a power supply line. In order to reduce vibration, make sure it's securely mounted. Then connect the black wire to ground, and the red wire to power.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this TireMinder Smart TPMS monitoring system with Bluetooth for your RV or your trailer. Now this TPMS system will let you monitor your RV or your trailer's tire pressures and temperatures via your smart device, using a free TireMinder TPMS app. That app is available just by going to your operating manual and you'll see a QR code that you can scan with your phone and it'll download the free app to your phone or even to your tablet. It does work great on your motor home, fifth wheel or trailer, and it'll give you real time pressure and temperature notifications on your smart phone or tablet. Now it is compatible with an iPhone 7 and Android 4.4 or newer smartphones and an iPad 7 in newer devices.
Now I happen to have an iPhone 8 plus and I've downloaded the app. So if I hit the app, you can see it'll pop it right up here. And once you get everything registered allow you to monitor the tires' pressure and temperature. Now it does come with the everything that's laid off here on the table comes with the Bluetooth adapter right here, comes with this rhino signal booster repeater, comes with this nice AC or DC adapter with a micro USB cable. The four flow through transmitters, four locking nuts and the locking wrench to attach it to your valve stem.
Comes with eight extra lithium batteries and replacement O rings for whenever you need to change the batteries in there. Comes with a nice storage bag to carry everything in, and it's nice operating manual to describe how everything hooks up and how it operates. I'll start with the Bluetooth adapter right here. This adapter will install anywhere on your vehicle within range of your smart device. The maximum range they say is about 30 feet.
They do recommend to be within about 10 feet and that allow you to connect to your smart device. The size on this, not including the antenna about four and a quarter inches tall, two and three eight inches wide about five eights of an inch deep. The antenna add about two inches. Now the rhino booster repeater right here, this is what'll strengthen your sensor signal and it uses the 433 megahertz transmitters which eliminates electronic interference with other wireless device. And this is fully weatherproof.
It'll install in the undercarriage of your RV or trailer and it connects to your 12 vol 24 volt DC power. The wire length that comes with, and the alligator clips is about three feet. Now the overall dimensions on this, including antenna is gonna be about four and a quarter inches tall, about two and a half inches wide, and about seven eights of an inch deep. The USB charger right here, you can plug this into your 12 volt accessory outlet and use the USB cable to charge. Or you can flip out and plug it into an AC wall outlet. As we mentioned, it comes with the micro USB charging cable. Now the sensors themselves, you can see it comes with four flow through sensors that'll let you monitor each tire individually. It does check the tire pressure and temperature every six seconds, allows your tires to be inflated or deflate it without removing the sensors. That's why it's nice having the flow through, "cause you can just take your valve cap off and then you can put air in or take air out, whatever you need without having to remove the complete sensor from the valve stem. The sensors do install easily. They screw onto your tires' valve stems and the lock in place using these lock nuts and a wrench to do that. These are brass construction, they are designed for use on rubber, steel, Chrome and nickel valve stems. And what's nice about these transmitters, they're only about 0.7 of an ounce so they're very lightweight eliminates the need to rebalance your tires. And the upgraded sensors provide accurately within one PSI, pressure range on them is zero PSI up to 232 PSI, operating frequency is 433 megahertz. And the operating temperature for these sensors are negative four degrees Fahrenheit up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Now this comes with four for four tire. You can add all the way up to 22 and we'll monitor 22 tires. We do sell additional sensors separately on our website and we did mention it comes with this nice storage bag. So you can see the zipper is open. You can put your Bluetooth adapter in there, put your charger in there, put the cable in there and then go ahead and take your zipper and zipper closing carry everything all in one place. But that should do it from the review on this TireMinder Smart TPMS monitor system with Bluetooth for RVs and trailers..
