Note: To determine whether you can use snow chains on your vehicle, or if chains might affect your ABS/ESP functionality, consult your owner's manual.
These chains are outstanding in serious winter conditions because the V-bar studs can bust through intense ice and packed snow. So, you'll be able to get to work and back home again even in the toughest weather. You can also use them if you ever go off-roading and end up in a mud-digging situation. These chains are going to help give your vehicle purchase to pull out and keep moving.
If you know your tire size, you may think you won't need to test fit your new snow chains. But there are a lot of variables that can affect whether chains will fit your specific tires, including your tire type, the amount of air pressure in the tire, the amount of tread wear, and the tire manufacturer.
We recommend that you order chains as early in the season as possible to give yourself plenty of time to test fit the chains and reorder if needed. This way, you won't be stuck out in the cold later with snow chains that don't fit.
You can test fit these chains in your garage or driveway, but you'll want to wait until there's snow on the ground to actually drive with them. These will cause damage to your garage floor and paved driveway. If you're out in the snow and come across bare pavement, you'll want to pull over and remove the chains. These can cause damage to your vehicle if they break from the wear of riding on a harsh surface.
Installing tire chains is easy.
1. Lay out the chains on the ground to make sure there are no twists or kinks.
2. Drape the chains over your tire, ensuring that the v-bar studs face away from the tire.
3. On the back of the tire, pull the chain tight and hook the ends together. Repeat this on the front of the tire, then clamp the lever to fasten extra chain links and keep them from flapping as you drive.
4. Insert the included tool into the cam and twist to tighten the sidewall chain. Twist as many cams as it takes to get a tight fit.
5. Drive forward 2-3 vehicle lengths and recheck the chain tension. Tighten any loose cams. If needed, rubber adjusters (sold separately) can be used to get a tight fit. Make sure the hooks on the adjusters face away from your tire so your wheels don't get scratched.
Quick Tips:
To choose the right snow chain, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire.

Built-in cam tighteners make fitting and tightening the chains a snap.I wanted rear-wheel chains for my 2011 Tacoma that would provide excellent traction. I already have V-bars on all four wheels of my ATV and it is impossible to get that thing stuck when I plow snow; so, I bought these. I have low-profile chains for the front wheels (to prevent from hitting the upper control arm) and with these rear-wheel V-bars, I really get the traction that I need. I drove around in a snow-covered field on the side of a hill and they work great! The cam tighteners are really convenient; but, I use rubber adjusters as a precaution. No stopping me now!
The tire chains go on easy with a little practice and warm thin gloves.
Haven't had to use them much but am ready for the La Nina winter in PNW - let it snow!
Exactly what I wanted, at a reasonable price. Haven’t used them in the snow yet, but I have test fit and drove around neighborhood. They went on well, I especially like the cam tensioners around the front.
Shipping was amazingly fast. I tried out the chains on the Ford Ranger. They went on easily and I could tighten them quickly. A lot better than the old style chains without cams that I could never get fully tight. I was happy that the size was correct as we have 265/75/15 size tires on the Ranger.
We need the studded chains as we have a half mile asphalt driveway with some steep slopes. The v-bar chains allows us to go up and down even when the driveway is a sheet of ice, which happens often as we live in south western Wisconsin.
The product quality look very good. I'll see how it wears through the season. So far, the experience of ordering and installing has been excellent.
Thankfully we have only needed to use these on our Ford E350 diesel 12-passenger rear-wheel drive van a couple of times, yet they were awesome when we did need them! The peace of mind for my family's safety is priceless.
Paula did a great job at communicating and making sure I got my tire chains quickly. Great product and great customer service. Already have recommended to many people. Keep up the great work!
I put a pair of claw chains on the rear of my dually dump to plow with. They where great I never got stuck and had great traction on my private road which is a dirt road.
Super fast delivery. Everything is as it should be.
Tire chains arrived on time for me to travel north. That's all I needed.
You guys rock! Great product, prices and support.
I received the chains within a week of ordering. I put the chainsaw and as suggested before I really needed them, they fit correctly. So far so good.
great product and better service!
Seems to be very good quality and easy to install.

These are great chains and easy to install. I haven't had to use them much. The Cam Tighteners are an essential feature. You put the chains on loosely, then use the cam tighteners to cinch them down. You should also buy some form of rubber chain tightener to pull then outer ring together as you drive. I used the star type. You don't want the chain to be loose and whack your wheel well. I have a Tahoe with AT tires and the spacing inside the wheel well is small. These chains worked well.

Unfortunately the snow and ice missed us for a use review but fortunately we still have power because of that. These went on very easily and the cams worked great. Wear gloves the first time cause the edges of the cross links are still sharp. These went on the rear tires of my 2021 Trail Boss with LT265/60 R20

I ordered 2 sets (4 chains total) of these tire chains for my V10 F250, which I use to plow a private dirt driveway on the north side of a mountain in rural Pennsylvania. It's two miles (actual odometer reading) uphill to the paved road from my house. Most years, along about February, the road ices up (because no sun and midatlantic sleet issues) and plowing becomes quite challenging. I figured getting tire chains might help the traction-on-ice problem. I plow the road between 10 and 15 mph, with the truck in 4wd. Since buying the chains I have run the truck up and back the road approximately twenty times with the chains on, plowing from 4 to 8 inches of snow, conducting rollbacks of shoulder, chopping up slush, etc. I have also used the truck (with chains) to pull out two other stuck vehicles that had run into ditches. At this point I feel like I can review the product because I've used 'em enough to have an opinion. 1. These tire chains add a lot of traction on ice. A lot. Enough to plow with and enough to pull out stuck vehicles while the "tow" vehicle is sitting on ice. 2. The chains look fine and are undamaged at this juncture. Since I've used them consistently with how I expect them to be used and they are fine, I'm happy with quality at this point. 3. Maybe I will improve with practice, but it's about thirty minutes of twinking around to get these straightened out, on the truck, tightened up, bungee'd, etc. in a way that I feel OK about driving with them. (That's why 4 stars instead of 5.) Once they're on, they seem to stay put fairly effectively. I do not drive on paved roads with these chains nor do I drive faster than (max) 20 mph so I can't speak to how they might do under those circumstances. I use them for additional traction for my plow truck while plowing my iced-up dirt road... and for that, they work as advertised.

These chains Broke 3 cross straps the 1st time I used them within 10 minutes of putting them on. I purchase 2 pairs I will be returning you're returning the pair that is in jacket and requesting a full refund for all. I even used the rubber chain tighteners on the outside of my wheels these chains wrapped around my rear axle and damaged my brake linesIf you are looking for heavy duty chains do not buy these

Easy to put on and they tear through the deep snow of the Colorado mountain trails. Great tire chain.

These work like a charm on the Promaster. We have used them several times to get in and out of ski areas which had icey and deep snowy approaches or exits.
Cannot be driven at over about 15 mph-to be expected.

Can't say anything about life span as I haven't used them yet. Their build quality is good, and they are almost an exact fit for my 2012 Duramax with 265/60/R20 tires.

These chains work excellent for keeping the snow away!!

The learning curve for applying the tire chain was short, and in the end, the process took about 5 minutes. (It helped to drive the tire on to a brick first.) The galvanized links appear sturdy, as do the cams, and the chains seem tight enough. Intended use is road travel in snow/ice - more on that later, perhaps.

These are a complete waste of money. Bought them last year and only used them once, they seemed to work fine. I didn’t need them for the rest of the winter. This year, on their 3rd use the cam tightener tool broke, really cheap metal. On their 4th use (needing a screwdriver and wrench to tighten the cams) they completely fell apart. 3 cross links broke on one chain, plus the outside latch fell off. Other chain seems fine which I don’t understand. Bottom line is after 4 uses totaling less than 30 miles, these chains are toast and I feel like an idiot for having purchased them...

I haven't had the opportunity to use the chains yet. I bought them for my elk hunting trip and fortunately I didn't have to use them.
