These durable, low-carbon steel chains provide excellent traction in deep snow. The rounded twist links limit jarring, and the ladder pattern assists with effective starts and stops. Includes chains for driver's and passenger's sides.

Note: These chains are not intended to be put on commercial vehicles like plows, forklifts, or tow trucks.
Installation
1. Drape the chain over the tire (or both tires of a dual-tire setup), making sure that the center chain is between the tires and that the side chain with the lever is on the outside. Drive forward about 1/4 of a tire revolution. (You can also lay the chain out and then drive onto it.)
2. Reach around behind the tire(s) and fasten the ends of the chain together.
3. Move back to the front of the tire(s) and fasten the ends of the chain together using the built-in lever.
4. Drive forward a bit and tighten the chain as needed by moving the hook to the next link.
You can use rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) to increase the tension on the chains for a tighter fit.
How to Choose Snow Chains for Your Vehicle
To choose the right snow chains, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire, as shown below.

I was willing to give benefit of a doubt that it was a one time fluke. Called and tried to return and/or exchange. etrailer.com wanted me to pay for the shipping back even though it was within the 30days of purchase. The shipping would of cost me more than half of what I paid for them. Even after a couple of customer care calls and emails, etrailer.com still refused to pay the shipping to exchange them.
Chains seem to be made top quality. Only test fit them so far with perfect fit on a 35x12.5 r18 tire. Hopefully I dont have to use them but the security of having them and knowing the quality and fit is great is worth it.
Good chains for the price. Used them about 6 X with out a problem. Be sure to get the rubber tensioners as they help a lot. Just a note and I'm pretty sure the e-trailer review said something about it but they are only good up to about 15 MPH not that you need to go that much faster but on a several mile trek back to the cabin it would be nice to do 30 or so..... the fact that they do their job is reason enough for four stars. If they would just install themselves.... bwahahaha

Hopefully I will not need to put these chains on, but I do know that this order from etrailer was exactly as ordered and arrived early. Just like every other order I have placed with them!
Fairest prices and best customer service, in the business!
The responsiveness of sending out the second set of chains after the first failed to arrive was exemplary. Marti who handled the issue was especially professional and very pleasant to work with. Very well done.
Haven't tested but they seem tough, 315/75r16 listed on product so I trust they fit.
Outstanding customer service and extremely fast shipping. I always come to etrailer.com for my Ford Super Duty F350.
The best!
Quality chains that fit!
Just generally really good customer service, shipping and interactive options to manage your orders. I’ve ordered through this company several times and will continue to do so.
Thanks
Great communication on shipment and fast arrival.
Customer service team is outstanding. Product arrived quickly.
order arrived on time. I checked the fit with the chains on one tire and they fit properly. They are a precaution for bad weather so time will tell when I actually use them.
Received product timely but have not used the product yet
JUST WHAT I WANTED. Good quality, light duty, low profile, ladder pattern tire chains. Perfect fit, 225/60 R17, on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, although this was my second Go-a-Round on ordering. Titan Chain lists TC1138 as the size for this tire and my car. NOT SO! The TC1142 is the one that fits ... perfectly! But Titan says that's for a 225/65 R17 size. THEY ARE WRONG! The TC1138 is 4" too short, and that's a HUGE discrepancy for tire chains. etrailer was absolutely no help with getting the right fit as they only go by listed sizes and don't know any product details (and don't want to know), only selling chains. They tried to steer me towards a Konig Chain with a diamond pattern at almost 5x the cost and far more complicated to install. I found the right chain size on their website in about 5 min. and ordered 2x pairs.
These chains are amazing! I use them on a 12 passenger van and they install very quickly and easily. I have driven on unplowed roads with 2' snow drifts and have hauled trailers through muddy fields without getting stuck. I highly recommend them.
These have been great to work with, especially for the price. I wouldn't go above 30mph without proper bungee straps. The adjustable cams are great, but they can come loose. If your tire is on the smaller side of the size range, all those cams coming loose at speed would let the chain come off the tire while driving.
But I used these one day on my 2wd Tacoma to push my way through 8-12 inches of fresh snow with soft ice underneath on a paved road for a couple miles. So they work, and haven't broken yet.
Installation is a little tricky, but not unreasonable after you've practiced a few times with cold hands.
I know iron. 17 yrs trucking, mostly doubles across Montana into the Dakotas. Chained up a lot.
Pictures show what you get with this set I bought for my 2005 Tahoe. Heavy gauge chains w/triple cam locks w/long wrench for excellent leverage to get cams tight. Tight cams mean links don't "slap" pavement which causes increased wear. They arrived today so not used yet. However, for my application they will last a lot longer than those cheaper; light gauge, "disposable" chains, use once and throw away after you pay a tow bill.
Needed these chains for a snowboarding trio this December. Installed them in my yard to make sure they fit, and figure out which link worked best. Now that i know what link to use, next time it should only take sbout 10 min to put them on. I really like how they stay away from my wheels so should not scrstch them. My yard was very soft from recent rain and you can see how well the chains dig into the mud. Should be really good on snow/ice.
Delivered fast, popped these on to get gamiliare with them and actyally tested them out on a road that was snow packed solid ice, my truck would not spin... i tried to make it, but the chains would not allow it in my situation. Yes chains ride rough.. real rough to be honest, but its better than not making it to your destination. They are heavy ( a big pro) feel like excellent quality and would recommend them to anyone who lives in a state that allows them.
