V-Bar Icebreakers
The V-shaped studs (also known as icebreakers, spikes, or cleats) that are built into these twist-link tire chains bite into ice, providing superior grip for a safer ride on ice-covered roads.
Installation
1. Drape the chain over both tires of your dual-tire setup, making sure that the center chain is between the tires and that the V-bars are facing out. (You can also lay the chain out and then drive onto it.)
2. Drive forward about 1/4 of a tire revolution.
3. Fasten the ends of the chain together.
4. Use the cam tensioning devices to tighten. Do this by inserting the flat end of the included wrench into the slot on each cam and twisting it.
5. Drive forward a bit and tighten the chain as needed.
You can use rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) to increase the tension on the chains for a tighter fit.
How to Choose Snow Chains for Your Vehicle

I asked if they had them for my tire size and she said no. After looking through 8 pages of chains and tire sizes I found the ones that would fit.
Product was fine, but i never used it. Etrailer however deserves 5 stars.
Great customer service and the tire chains are bomber! I have recommended
"etrailer" to a number of friends.
Great service
I got the snow chains for my 2005 Chevy Express 3500 Class C RV, its a Dual wheel rear. It worked perect. A little cumbersome to put on but MUCH easier than I expected, also being my first time putting on chains ever.
I went thru spots 4x4s were getting a tow from the Forest Ranger.
Great product and as all my previous exprience with etrailer - GREAT Company to deal with. Wish I had taken some pics.
Review from a similar V-Bar Ladder with Cam in Tire Chains
Ok, new to chains here. These came extremely fast over the Christmas holiday. I have a cabin in north central PA on top of a mountain. Two weeks ago I came up the mountain and it had snowed during my stay. It was absolutely terrifying going back down the dirt road, I had zero traction, took me an hour to go 2 miles, a neighbor had plowed, but it was like sledding in my vehicle. Up this week with chains with v bar, night and day, it's like driving on road with no snow, no sliding, complete control, what an amazing difference, absolutely recommend these chains. I ordered for 265/60/18 but also have a truck that is 265/75/16 that these are rated to fit, they do, but will need the spider bungee as they are sort of loose on the 16 rim.

They looked like a nice set of chains, but have to rate a 1 star due to my experience. A customer service rep confirmed via chat that these chains would fit my tires (265 70 R16), but they were too small.

They are nice chains, and they arrived very quickly, so I'll give 1 star for that despite the fact they don't come with a reuseable bag. But the other 4 stars come off because they don't actually fit the tire sizes they indicate they fit. My tires are 265/75-16 on a 2006 Chevy 2500HD. I installed the chains, using the closest link available for the inside and outside catch, then cycled all four cams, and the chains are still too loose. In fact, I could cycle the cams by hand, and didn't even need to use the special tool, that's how loose they are. You can clearly see in the included picture how much slack there is at the keeper since it's hanging lose instead of taunt against the tire like is should be. You can also see that it is connected to the closest link, and that all four cams are tightened. You can even make out the tire size. This isn't an installation problem, or an operator error. This is a "they don't fit what they say they fit" problem. I tried calling etrailer for assistance, but other than verify I had the correct chains for my tire size, all they could do was suggest I get the rubber bungee cord things.
So now I have the outside rubber things coming to try and take up the slack if I actually need to use them during my trip next week. Tire chains specified for a given tire size range should fit. These don't, but I don't have enough time to change them out and have no confidence anything else I ordered would fit better anyway. Later when I have time, I'll remove one of the laterals so I can tighten the chains more, but for $150 I would expect a product that fits. Buyer beware...

Had some trouble at first, the set was too large for my tires. I was able to remove one of the cleats and shorten the diameter... All is well now, hope I never have to use them, but nice to know I can.

One of the links is going in the opposite direction, so if I were to put on the chains, the metal would puncture the tire. Sucks because this is not cheap. You would think they would check all the links to make sure they did not install the links the wrong way.
If I didn't check I would have had a blown tire!!

First, delivery was accurate as tracked to a very rural locaion. Thank you for that.
Second, when I finally installed the tire chains, they fit. When used consistent with industry standards, for example, slow speeds, proper install either drape or roll on methods, the chains work well.
The quality of this product serves us well in the remote Federal forest, generally unplowed in winter.
An instructional video would be helpful. We used youtube presenters to fill this gap.
Well done etrailer.

Had to use these chains once last season: a cautionary story
User-friendly and intuitive - incredibly easy to use despite the snow coming down, my lack of preparation, and my vehicle being partially off the road.
Efficacy and design - 2wd vehicle in Northern VT…no problem, cut right through the rapidly accumulating snow and lack of road treatment with ease. Barely lost any paint around the fenders despite not having straps to tighten chains around wheels.
10/10, would buy again, glad I still have them for this season, and I should probably check to make sure I’m better prepared…

These chains work great and look better. We were driving to a trailhead where the road turned into deep hard snow with 1.5 foot deep ruts. We couldn’t proceed because of downed trees. The snow was hard enough that the truck got stuck in 4WD low because it kept digging itself in. Thank goodness I had the chains because once I put them on I was able to grip and turn around with no issue.

I am pleased with the purchase. May I suggest your install video for this type of chain make note that in some cases, after the draping of the chains over the tires that it can be necessary to drive forward to be able to link the remaining chain to each side. Also, do this for all tires at once, then drive forward. The video shows installer just reaching around the inside/outside of tire and making connections. This was not possible in my case. (265x60x18) You may wish to make note of changing your tire chains to the tire on opposite side, after some use, to ensure equal wear. I am no expert. I just derived info from web to ensure I knew what I was doing in the event I have a problem.

Went on easy, in a practice install. Have not used in the snow yet.

At first I received the wrong chains but etrailer was great about their error and quickly sent me the right chains and shipping label to return the wrong ones. Their customer service was excellent and all was made right in just a few days. Very happy with the service I received and the new chains.

A litte bit of a learning curve with how to tighten, but once figured out they stayed in place wonderfully in the snow- far better than our friends with cables! Definitely recommend and great customer service- also arrived really fast!

Etrailer is great. I buy Titan tire chains and they are perfect. I placed two separate orders and they came together. Thanks so much.

I purchased these chains for a trip west where I was going through the mountains. I never needed them and they are still in the bag. Having the chains with me gave the peace of mind not knowing the roads ahead.
Review from a similar V-Bar Ladder with Cam in Tire Chains
The chains do work good but you have to make sure that you have the correct link picked because if you don’t the cams will get bent really easily because the cam metal is very soft.

Boc arrived wet, see pics. Working w Ellen regarding the chains (maybe) being too long. Have to connect to the next crossover in order for them to be tight enuf to stay on) & yes all cams are shortened. Chain excess would slap against the vehicle

Arrived on time. Box is in great condition, will not be opening for a couple days so that I can try fit for the chains and adjusters I purchased.
I expect they will be perfect, has been my experience with etrailer
