Video Transcript for Review of ARB Tire Inflator - Single Motor Onboard Air Compressor Ford Ranger - ARB68VV

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look together at this ARB Single Motor Onboard Air Compressor for your Ford Ranger. So this is going to fit your 2019 to 2023 Ford Ranger SuperCrew. And this onboard air compressor system is gonna let you run air lockers or air up to your tires. The manifold is gonna hold pressurized air, giving you air to actuate your air lockers.

The compressor itself has a maximum air pressure of 100 PSI, and a maximum airflow of 3.08 cubic feet per minute, and a 50% duty cycle. The thermal protection on the motor is gonna keep the compressor from extreme temperature damage. The safety valve is gonna keep the unit from pressure buildup and the inline fuse here on this wiring harness loom is going to prevent the unit from overloading or short circuiting. Just some measurements of the compressor itself. Looking at the overall length, about seven and a half inches long.

The overall width, about three and 15/16 inches wide. And the overall height, about five and three quarters inches tall. Again, that's just on the compressor itself. The compressor weighs a little over seven and a half pounds. And this mounting bracket, I do have it kind of loosely assembled here.

I have the compressor loosely installed on the bracket itself, just to kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like. That mounting bracket's gonna let you mount this air compressor behind your Ranger's rear seats. And as I'm sure you can appreciate, some drilling is going to be required. And the bracket's also going to act as a heat sink to dissipate heat away from the mounting point. And this does include everything that you see here on my table before me.

Again, you're gonna get this wiring harness loom and you're going to get these elbow fittings, and you're gonna get two of different kinds of elbow fittings. You're gonna get a switch, you're gonna get a hose coupling, and then the electrical components that you see here, hardware, and then of course the bracket, some cable ties, and a foot long reinforced stainless steel braided hose. And then instructions to guide you through installation and operation. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
