Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Viair 150 psi Portable Air Compressor Kit and it's on this I-Beam sand tray. Now this kit will let you inflate your vehicle's tires using this portable air compressor that'll run off your vehicle's battery. Maximum air pressure on this is 150 psi. So this compressor is perfect for any tires 35 inch diameter or smaller, so it will work on most standard off-road size tires. It does include everything shown here on the table.
It includes the air compressor, with the eight foot long battery cables, and it is a fused cable. Comes with this 25 foot long braided coil air hose with the 100 psi pressure gauge on it. Comes with the air filter right here and extra filters. Comes with the three-piece accessory inflation tips. Also comes with this Presta valve adapter.
A lot of your bicycle tires use Presta valves instead of Schrader valves, so it does give you this adapter also. And this nice, durable carrying case. Now at the end of this video I am gonna show how all this goes into the carrying case, how you can carry it around. But now, the battery clamps right here, these are designed to attach directly to your vehicle's 12 volt battery. We mentioned the cord is eight feet long, it is a fused cord, and it is designed to reach most battery locations.
And then on the compressor right here it does have a built in on and off switch. So I do want to demonstrate that. I wanna give you an idea of the noise of this. It's pretty quiet for a large compressor. So I got some power here, we're gonna hook it up to.
So once we get that all hooked up, go ahead and turn it on. So we got the black and the red hooked up. So what we're gonna do now is we'll go ahead and turn this on. (compressor rumbling) You can see with it turned on, it's not really. It's not a real loud noise. (compressor rumbling) Now this does offer a thermal overload protector, which it'll automatically shut down if it overheats and it'll reset. Right up front here, we mentioned this 25 foot long braided coil hose, has this five-in-one inflater and deflator. You can see what's nice here is you can turn this right here and when you turn that, you can make it to where it'll constantly inflate. If you turn it the other way, it'll deflate it, and it does have this nice locking lever on it. So this will allow continuous inflation, deflation, or intermittent deflation. And we did mention in the beginning the aluminum I-Beam sand tray that is on the bottom here, has these vibration isolators on it. This will help improve stability on any uneven surfaces. And it also gives about 30% less weight. So you can see the isolators when you. This will actually vibrate and the stand just stays still. So even if there's any vibration it doesn't relate it to the air compressor. Now this does also come with three accessory tips over here. You can see the two different size and then the needle valve. These will help keep your toys, mattresses, aired up when you're on your trip. We mentioned that Presta valve adapter, and that's for applications where your bike might have a Presta valve instead of a Schrader valve. The bag is a nice, rugged, dual compartment carrying bag for easy transport. Few specs on this, the voltage is 12 volts, maximum amp draw is 30 amps, maximum air pressure 150 psi, and a maximum airflow of 2.3 cubic feet per minute. The duty cycle compressor is 33% at 100 psi, which means 20 minutes on, 40 minutes off. Weight on this is only about 10-1/2 pounds. And last thing, we'll do the dimensions and then I'll show you how it goes into the bag. But basically the overall length of this unit is 10-7/8 inches long. The width at the widest point is gonna be at the bottom, is 5-7/8 inches wide. And the height from the bottom to the tallest point is 7-1/2 inches tall. So what I'm gonna do is go ahead and disconnect it from our power source. And once we get it disconnected, go ahead and put our little cap just over there. And then what you'll do is have these clips here. And again, here's a compartment for the compressor and here's one for the coil cord. So we'll go ahead and open it up. And then what you can do is take your compressor, drop it right in here. Fits very nicely, I'm not trying to squeeze it in there. And then you can just close that up and that keeps your compressor separate. And then down here you'll have a separate set of zippers that'll open up. I'm just gonna grab all this little stuff and throw in the bottom. And then if we put this together, we can put the coil cord in there and the gauge. And then once we get it all in there, once you get it all in there, then you just take your zipper and go ahead and zip that all the way around. And once we get the zippers closed, then you can take your flap, pull it over here and attach it. And with the, you have a nice handle up here. Just like that, you got everything all in one bag. Carrying it around or keep it whenever you need it handy, you can get everything out of there. But that should do it for the review on this Viair 150 psi Portable Air Compressor Kit with the I-Beam sand tray.

Inflate your vehicle's tires with this portable air compressor that runs off your vehicle's battery. Don't waste time finding the nearest gas station, instead keep this compact air compressor on hand.Could not have expected better. Under promise, over deliver! EXCELLENT!!!
We love this compressor! We always keep it in our car for emergencies. It comes in a nice case and works just fine. It does not inflate very fast, and it gets a bit warm as it inflates, but it does the job. The cables are long enough to inflate every tire on my SUV. The only concern I have is that the 12-v auto power plug can become unscrewed and come apart. It took me a little bit of time to figure out how to assemble it again. Otherwise, everything is great.
Nice pump. comes in handy and is fast.
just what i needed
