Quick, Easy Hookup
The Falcon 2 tow bar features stainless steel, telescopic inner arms that adjust independently for easy connection. These extra-long arms, coupled with Roadmaster's large hookup radius, help make hooking up easy. They also provide better maneuverability and a better turning radius when towing, allowing you to have more freedom and less hassle on the road.
The Autowlok mechanism features a spring-loaded pin that locks the arms into place for towing. Once the tow bar is connected to both your RV and to the base plates on your towed vehicle, simply drive forward until the tow bar arms fully extend, at which point they will automatically lock into place.
Once you've reached your destination and you're ready to unhook your vehicle, press the release button to disengage the spring-loaded pin. The arms will be able to telescope again, making it easier to disconnect. However, if you're on uneven terrain, or if your towed vehicle is not perfectly aligned behind your RV, chances are you'll experience tow bar binding. This is the result of tension that can build up in the telescoping arm, and it can make it difficult to disconnect your vehicle. Using a release tool (RM-066 - sold separately) will give you the leverage necessary to disconnect.
The internal self-lubricating nylon bushings help to absorb road shock and reduce wear and tear on the tow bar by eliminating friction between the inner and outer arms as they telescope in and out. Inside each arm, a built-in safety strap provides extra peace of mind by ensuring that the inner and outer arms won't separate in the event of a latch failure.
Triple-Lug Connection
In order to be compatible with Blue Ox base plates, there are sturdy brackets at the end of each tow bar arm. These brackets attach to the base plates using 2 easy-to-access pins and provide a tight, stable connection for a safer and more dependable towing experience.
Superior Testing Ensures Excellent Quality
This StowMaster tow bar has been subjected to rigorous physical and computerized testing to ensure that it meets Roadmaster's exceptionally high standards. Throughout the design process, Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA) is done. Each of these tests display a 3-dimensional image of the tow bar while it is put under thousands of pounds of pressure. Areas of stress in the tow bar can then be located and studied so that those areas can be strengthened. This process is repeated until any weak spots, particularly those found in load-bearing components, are completely removed. The result is a durable, strong, and safe product.
Simple, Secure Storage
The Falcon 2 can easily be folded up and stored on the back of your RV when not in use.
After disconnecting the tow bar from your towed vehicle, collapse the arms and push them together so that they are side by side. Then fold the arms up toward the RV and the storage latch will automatically engage to hold the tow bar in place.
Guide to Flat Towing
Flat towing your vehicle is much more convenient than using a trailer or tow dolly. Not only do other options take up much more space, they are not as easy to disconnect and reconnect. There are 5 basic components needed when flat towing a vehicle: a tow bar, a base plate kit, a safety cable set, tow bar wiring, and a supplemental braking system.
The tow bar links your towed car to your motorhome. It attaches to the custom-designed base plates on your towed car. Safety cables ensure that your towed car does not separate from your motorhome in the event that your tow bar becomes detached. Tow bar wiring allows your towed vehicle to sync with your motorhome's tail lights and is required by law. Finally, the supplemental braking system, also required in most states, brakes your towed car whenever the brakes in your motorhome are activated, preventing wear on the motorhome and decreasing braking distance.

Hitch-mounted tow bar for Blue Ox base plates has stainless steel, telescoping arms that automatically lock into place. Its large hookup radius allows you to connect without perfectly lining up your vehicle. Easily folds up to store on your RV.I purchased a 2019 Chevy Traverse because it was towable. To my dismay, roadmaster did not have a baseplate designed for this vehicle. I waited for some time and then found that blue ox had a baseplate. I loved my previous roadmaster towbar, and was pleased to find that this towbar came with the blue ox connectors. I have been very pleased with how easy it is to hook up and un hook the toad. This is much better than my previous car mount towbar. I would highly recommend this towbar.
I gave each and every one of the items I purchased a 5star rating because they each have contributed greatly to my confidence and sense of security about full-time RVing in my Class C rv towing my little car behind. Each product has been well made and thought out and the service from etrailer has been great....from price to shipping and packaging. I couldn't be more pleased with everything. Job well done. Thank you.
The product, Falcon 2 Tow bar, is a definite improvement on my 10+ year old Blue Ox Aladdin. Probably not a fair comparison due to age difference. Went on a 700 mile test ride, all is good! The packaging from Roadmaster / etrailer could use improvement. The box arrived with multiple holes large enough to stick my arm through to other side. etrailer support confirm Ed no loose parts to fall out of box and product seems to be ok. The tow bar while in use is a few inches longer vs the Blue Ox Aladdin it replaced. Therefore my safety cables & brake disconnect are a bit short.
I ordered an entire setup to flat tow my Subaru with my RV. Having never done this before I was nervous about missing something I might need. etrailer made it very easy when I called them on the phone. I told them what I was trying to do and they made sure I had everything needed to complete the job. I was given a name and phone number to call the same person if I had any issues. When one of the boxes was opened it was missing two pins from the manufacturer. A quick phone call and they had them in the mail in a matter of hours. This kind of personalized service is missing in our ever changing world. It was a pleasant surprise to find it here. Great Job etrailer. I will favorably recommend to everyone.
The blue ox base plate product installed perfectly. You can't go wrong with etrailer.
Outstanding service by Ian. He was able to understand my problem and my location and got the new tow bar to us on time. Great product.
Works well, however I expected it to. A good product and I am looking at something else to buy here. Am enjoying the ability to pull my toad. Thanks a lot e trailer.
Great product
The two purchases I made are of good quality. Stacey was very helpful and had the answers. The only suggestion I could make would be that you look at orders and if products are not compatible inform the customer. Again thank you
Tow bar system works as planned.

Review from a similar Falcon 2 in Tow Bar
Overall very happy with this product. It fits snug in my receiver without alot of play. It did come with a cross bar, which surprised me since none of the pictures showed it. Initially i was concerned this wouldn't work with work with direct connect base plate, the directions weren't real clear. After a bunch of research it will indeed work with the direct connect base plate. I've yet to tow since I am still installing the base plate. Will update at a later date

Review from a similar Falcon 2 in Tow Bar
In February 2016 I bought a used Class A Motorhome with came with a Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar. After a couple of trips around the country in my motorhome, I quickly realized why the majority of motorhomes I saw had a vehicle in tow. I searched for a decent tow vehicle and in June purchased a 2003 Chevy Tracker. I didn't know anything about Raodmaster or the quality of their products so I started reading reviews from satisfied owners and quickly realized I had a very good tow bar so I researched what I needed to hook it up on my Tracker. I got acquainted with eTrailer when I purchased the Base Plates to attach my Raodmaster Falcon tow bar to my Tracker. Derek at eTrailer was very helpful and took the time ensuring that I had the right parts to use with my used tow bar. The customer service I received was outstanding. I actually received my base plates the next day with free shipping! The installation instructions were clear and concise and I installed the base plates in about 1 hour and was ready to go. I took several trips (about 4,000 miles) with my Tracker in tow behind me and never had any issues. My Falcon Tow Bar I got with my RV is at least 10 years old and I considered buying a new one but I didn't want or need to spend the extra money since there really wasn't anything wrong with it. Then my last trip of the year (end of November) I was about 75 miles away from home running 75 mph (in traffic), when my Tracker (in tow behind me) was rear-ended on the highway. This accident could have been catastrophic but it wasn't. My old Falcon Tow Bar absorbed the majority of the impact! Needless to say, the tow bar was destroyed but the RV and Tracker never let go of each other. After settling up with the insurance company and fixing my Tracker, when it came time to buy a new tow bar, the Roadmaster Falcon II and eTrailer was a no-brainer. In my opinion, the quality of the Roadmaster product saved lives last November!
