Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the InfiniteRule Redeemer Heavy Duty Off-Road Aluminum D-ring Shackles with the locking pins. These have a 9,500 pound working load limit and it is for a quantity of two shackles. Now these are designed to mount to your front or rear bumper so that you can remove vehicles from difficult terrain. The threaded pin in it sits flush on both sides to help reduce any chance of snagging the shackle on obstacles. It is designed to fit 1 1/4 inch standard D-ring mount bumpers, tow lugs, and other D-ring locations.

And what's nice is, when these are installed, it'll let you pull from different directions or change directions when you need to avoid trees or obstacles. The body on it has a rounded body to it, gives you a nice wide, load-bearing surface, and it does resist deforming and it won't rust 'cause it is constructed of heavy duty, black, anodized aluminum for lightweight durability. Few dimensions on the shackle itself. Height of it is about six inches tall, width is about five inches wide, and about two inches thick. As we mentioned, it is constructed of a 6061 T6 billet aluminum and it has the threaded pins in there.

You can see they have two rubber washers that are in there so that when you do install it up against the D-ring, it'll keep metal to metal from contacting each other. So just to unscrew it, what you'll do is just go ahead and start unscrewing this. This side here has a threaded portion on it, so once you get it all totally unscrewed, it'll slide right out. And then we'll grab our washers. There's your two rubber washers.

And then, if you wanna put in locking pins for extra security, what you'll do on those, they have come with two keys on each lock. So what you'll do is just start turning that like you're unscrewing and it unscrews the locking pin. And once you get it far enough, it'll come apart, and then you'll take the short end and put that in the threaded side and then take this and stick it in through here. First let's go ahead and put our washers back on. Oops, put it through there first.

Just set them on there. Now we'll go ahead and you'll do the same way, you just make sure you line that up and then just start twisting the key and it'll start screwing the lock together. And then once you get it all the way tightened up, just take your key out, and now it's locked in there so now nobody can actually remove them from your vehicle. You still got your washers in there to protect it. These are 7/8 inch diameter locking pins and even the threaded pins are a 7/8 inch diameter, so you don't have to take, when you use the locking pins, what's nice is you don't have to worry about having to take them off so nobody can take them. And the pins themselves are a 303 stainless steel. They're very durable and resist corrosion. These parts are made in the USA. Specs, again, the towing capacity is 9,500 pounds for the working load limit.
