Note: This strap lets you tow a tractor, truck or other heavy vehicle behind your truck or Jeep. Simply secure one hook to the free-moving vehicle, and secure the other hook to the tow hook or shackle on your towing vehicle. Remember, there needs to be a driver in the towed vehicle to apply the brakes as necessary, and you need to drive very slowly while towing. This polyester strap also stretches less than a nylon recovery strap so it should be used for towing and not for recoveries.

Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Erickson tow strap with snap hooks. It's two inches wide by 20 feet long, rated at 5,000 pounds. So folks, you would use this pretty much for vehicle towing, maybe a tractor, behind a Jeep or a truck or something, or if you really need to, in a last ditch effort, maybe down the road, but that's up to your local laws, regulations, your safety regulations and those, so please make sure you're aware of all that before you try anything like that. It has a maximum load break strength of 10,000 pounds, but the safe working load limit is 5,000 pounds.
These hooks have spring openings here, latches on 'em. When it's open, you should be able to fit a one inch opening, a one inch thing through there. They are 2 3/4 inches wide, 2 3/4 that way, and roughly 4 5/16 inches long. Now, these are a commercial-grade tow strap, so it's great for emergencies, like I said. But again, for short-distance travels only.
Super heavy-duty. They've stitched this mesh up really, really, really nice, and very, very strong and secure. The hooks are zinc-plated out of forged steel. And again, those integrated safety hooks that are spring in place, they're rust-resistant and it's gonna make it easier to latch onto attachment points versus looped in. So you simply click it over whatever you're attaching it to, and it works really quick and easy.
So again, the straps, the polyester webbing, it's got triangular steel links. that's gonna protect the ends here. It's gonna keep it in place. And again, they've stitched the, you know what, out of this strap here on both ends to keep it nice and tight. So very nice made product by Erickson.
This is the tow strap with two snap hooks, two inch wide, 20 feet long, or 5,000 pounds. I'm Steven, stay safe while you're towing, please.
