Universal-fit towing mirrors strap onto your factory mirrors to extend your lines of sight by 5". Durable ABS plastic mirrors have an aerodynamic shape and snug fit to reduce vibration and wind noise. Simple, tool-free installation and removal.

Specs:
These universal-fit towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. The mirrors can be installed on both the driver's-side and passenger's-side mirrors on most vehicles.
The towing mirrors can be easily installed and removed. No tools are necessary. The hook on the nylon strap will grab the outer edge of your factory mirror housing. The cushioned feet can be adjusted to fit your factory mirror housing. Simply twist the hand knob on the end of the mirror to tighten the nylon strap and secure each mirror to your factory mirrors.

Simple, tool-free installation and removal.Honda Odyssey 2010 is what these mirrors are used for by
me. Once I get them positioned where I want them, which was
quite the project the first time, they work fine, giving
driver critically necessary views of our A-line trailer.
After a period of driving, though, their position shifts,
they start to sag, they simply cant hold on tight enough to
the half-melted-bar-of-soap aero-shape of our Honda mirrors.
Not the fault of CIPA, it IS a universal fit it says. Some
fits will be better than others. There are no mirrors I could
find dedicated to 09 - 11 Honda Odysseys. These work, don't get
me wrong, and I'll keep using them, since there's nothing else
available, but it took a while to discover the routine that gets
them mounted where they stand half a chance to last a trip. The
tension locking knobs are a righteous pain in the patooty. I would
say to look long and hard for a mirror made specifically for your
application before you buy these. If nothing is available, well...
OK, maybe these will work for you. So far they have for me, once I
got it all figured out.
I have tried many different ways to keep the towing mirrors in place on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, without any success, including straps that tighten, turning the black knob, locating the hooks in different places and bungee cords. I have now been trying for a year.
Ordered some mirror extensions for towing. I haven't installed them yet but they seem far more aerodynamic than others listed online and at local auto parts stores so I hope they work well on my Toyota Tacoma truck.
I am very happy with etrailer and the towing mirrors. I have been looking for several years for mirrors that would serve my needs.
I did install these temporarily, and found it more stable then any others. I just haven't as yet been able to use them on a trip w/our travel trailer.
They are great for what I use them for. I tow an RV trailer two or three times a year. You will need a second person to help you adjust the passenger side. The pads will come off, but they come with extras. It's a good option if you don't want to replace existing mirrors with big towing mirrors
Will not stay cramped to Gladiator mirror, plastic clamps too flimsy
The mirrors are great. I thought very easy to figure out how to attach them on our 2006 Highlander. VERY SATISIFIED

The mirrors themselves I'd give 4-5 stars as they were easy to install and only took about 5 minutes per side to get them adjusted correctly. One of the mirrors was clearly a mirror that had been used by a customer and then returned. Neither the customer nor etrailer cared enough to fully check the product as there were bug guts on the outside of the housing.
These towing mirrors work just fine. They fit my 2019 GMC Canyon well enough and once I get them situated and tightened properly they stay put and don't slip out of place. These towing mirrors allow me to see down the sides of our trailer and keep an eye on traffic behind me and coming up along side.
Instructions are insufficient. To small print. Clips confusing.

These types of mirrors can be difficult to install as they fit a variety of vehicles. I agree that the instructions can be better. Did you have a chance to watch one of our video installs? The one that we have on a 2018 Nissan Rogue would be helpful. I have linked it below.

I got them installed, just had to change clips. I just stumbled onto the new clips looking for maybe more instructions. Thanks
Just installed them. Have to say that the included instructions were not much help! Printing was very small and pictures too dark to really make out any details. Glad they included some extra clips because the way it was configured wouldn't work at all on my mirror housings (Subaru Outback) I had to remove the original clips and use the two plastic extras-reversing their positions. The concept of these mirrors, I think, is very good. They haven't been on the road yet so I can't really say much about their actual performance in use.
A quality item in comparison. We have an expedition, and there’s no form-fitted mirrors for this, so I went through three other pairs before finding this one, the others all broke within a year, but these are going strong. The teardrop shape helps prevent them from vibrating and wobbling on the highway. The glass is a little smaller than similar designs, but it’s a good trade off for being able to see, and having some level of confidence it’s not going to break off and tumble down the highway.
AS ALWAAY eTRAILER.COM HAS WHAT I NEEDED, AT A PRICE THAT IS COMPETETIVE, AND SHIPPING QUICKER THAN MOST. EXCELLENT SERVICE ON-LINE OR BY PHONE.
My comment was that these mirrors should not be purchased for an F150 that has the factory side mirrors equipped with spot lights and camers as our mine.
You offer a mirror that would fit properly but they were out of stock and I was leaving on an extended trip, so bought these figuring I could use them. I added extra straps but the mirrors still don't hold snugly.
Lastly, I will purchase from etrailer again as you offer an extensive portfolio of products at competitive prices.
Worked as described
When I first used them for a short trip they really worked great. However, they would shake and come loose on long trips. I stopped using them since I was concerned they would fall off.
Overall, the mirrors work well. There's a tendency for them to slip down from their desired position, but this may require an adjustment on my part.
I was impressed by the delivery time, two days, and the very sturdy packaging- the box was thick and stapled- and shipping was free.
Did not work on my 2021 F150 well at all. The pads on the back landed right in the notch of the rear view mirrors and the mirrors themselves would sag as I drove. They give you 3 styles of clips to fit your vehicle but they just slide on and are easy to lose when the mirror is off the vehicle.
I will keep them as backups now that a mirror specific to the new F150 is available but may never use them again.
Perfect, just what I wanted. Have not installed yet, but it looks like a fit.
Not happy with them. 1/3 of rubber pads to protect mirror have fallen off in one use. I cannot get passenger mirror to stay in place no matter what I do. It usually ends up pointing at the ground within two miles. I've tightened it so much the clamp on the end of the strap popped off and flew 20 feet away. Would not recommend for a Honda Pilot.

This does not sound like it has been a good experience. Using universal mirrors can be a little tough. I recommend taking a look at part # CM11980-2 which only clamp to the top of the mirror. I have a video link below on a 2016 Honda Pilot.
works fine once set up. Maybe the best I have used in about 25 years of rotting.
mirror "clips" constantly fall off..too easy to use
instruction sheet too small and almost worthless.Mirror comes with 3 sets of mirror clips..trial and error to get correct set.
Ordered 2 received 1 still waiting for the other 1
This is the best designed set of towing mirrors on the market. The one drawback is that my Canyon is narrower than a full size pickup and needs mirrors that extend further to give me a better view around the trailer.
