The company was fast and gave lots of updates for shipping. Once i received product my concerns were met. The straps are BARELY long enough to connect around my mirror. Once it is straped properly the tension on straps pulls them right out of the retaining clip. I ordered these because i have a 11 silverado just like what was in the product pictures. Save your money and get something else because theres no way these will make it down the highway they will barely stay on just sitting here. Kinda disappointed because i bout these for our first camping trip this weekend but these will not work. Seems like a good company just crappy product.

Wow, I personally have never seen anything like this before, the way the strap just comes off like that. I am wondering if part # CTM1600 is a better fit for you. It attaches in a completely different manner and doesnt use the straps like these mirrors do. Let me know what you think!

by:

Easily attached whenever we tow our 24ft pontoon or travel trailer. Found it also fit the mirrors on my son's truck pretty well when he towed the boat.

Still going strong

Since there are no custom mirrors available for Toyota 4Runners I was hoping these would work. Unfortunately, no matter how tight you attach them with the rubber straps, they vibrate so much they don't work very well even on the highway and not at all on rough roads. They're really only useful for backing up the trailer so they're just hanging up in the garage.

by:
2018 Toyota RAV4

I put the mirrors on for a short test run. They seemed to hold on pretty well. They shake some, but I could still see what was behind me. So far, so good. I'm using them on a 2018 RAV4.

I found that in two-way traffic, the wind from passing trucks was enough to fold the mirror in! I also found I didnt really need the passenger side extension. Aside from that, they serve my purpose as an infrequent tower.

@Beth I've actually used these myself on a 1000 mile trip and I found that you have to have the straps extremely tight to hold the mirror in place. At higher speeds the vibration made it harder to get a clear view with the mirrors but like you said, they are great for infrequent towing to get the job done.

by:

So-so construction and design. With one modification they're more than acceptable. The arms and straps will slip and loosen if installed on triangular or tapered housings. Mirrors that have backs nearly parallel to the mirror face, and have upper and lower mirror edges that are nearly parallel are not affected. Adding a peel and stick plastic wall hanger to a tapered housing will stop the strap from slipping and loosening.
The ball and socket mount is good and tight, but the stud on the ball is loose in the arm. I think most of the jitter and vibration others report is from this sloppy clearance that the stud screw can't tighten enough. I'll be addressing that as well.
A nice option for those of us that
a) don't tow a majority of the time and don't want full time extended mirrors, and/or
b) tow with multiple vehicles and prefer to have adjustability to fit our 'fleet'.

2023 Honda Ridgeline

The mirrors fit on my vehicle but it isn't an exact fit. I believe they will work for my purpose. The bottom of my mirrors have a curve so only one hook from the mirror clips on the bottom real secure. If the bottom piece had a joint midway it would allow the mirror to clip on correctly.

by:

Did not fit my 2022 Jeep gladiator. Had to trash them. The strap would not stretch around the mirrors

by:
2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Well , mounted the mirrors and did a test run . Pleasantly surprised on how well the did. However , what would be great would be a cover for the mirror. Along with dense foam blocks with an adhesive back. I placed them on the mirror support to take up the slack of the universal fit. 1 inch long 3/8 thick and 1/2 wide worked really well . Also it helps with the vibration. The mirrors standing vertically when mounted . Great value for the dollar amount .

by:

worked well while i used it. I have sold my truck and gave the mirrors to the young man who bought my truck. he was glad to receive them

by:
2023 Toyota Tundra

I ordered these for a 2023 Tundra after being advised to do so. The straps seem to be too short and to get them attached I'm really stretching then out and they're difficult to mount. I'm concerned they're going to pull off with so much tension and very little strap left threading through the tensioner.

Very well. When I first bought these mirrors I thought the straps were too tight, but after a little use they worked perfectly. I would adjust my rating up if given the chance.

by:

Great customer service! I received my mirrors and they were broken, reached out via email and had new ones shipped to me the next day. I’m sure they were broken in shipping. Great reliable company.

by:

These mirrors work very well. Easy to install, and hold on well. Once I figure out I wouldn't break it by forcing the mirrror they are fairly easy to adjust and stay where you aim them. A good value.

by:

I don’t use them any longer and got rid of them because the wouldn’t stay clipped. In fact one of the fasteners came off while driving on the freeway and I had to use duck tape to keep the mirror attached.

by:

You have to tighten them very tight the try to tuck the strap under the tightened strap to keep them from coming undone. The vibrate bad. I gave them away and bought a set of Trail Ridge adjustable mirrors. Traile Ridge mirrors are way bigger and work a lot better.

by:

Great mirrors that do their job well. Easy to put on and take off. Just make sure you put the straps on nice and tight or they'll shake a little bit at highway speeds.

by:

The rubber straps were not long enough. Especially the inner (near the car). When stretched, they slip out of the buckle. I had to create a clamp to prevent the slippage.

by:
BMW X5

They work perfectly on My BMW X5 my only problem is I no longer have that car, but I have the mirrors. But they were very good.

by:

Works as intended, offers a good adjustable fit and does improve visibility.

Very easy to install. Worked great. Do wish the straps was just a little bit longer. Was right at end of buckle.

by:

I purchased the towing mirrors for my 2017 4Runner. They are perfect and at a great price!!

I also purchased the Curtis TriFlex break controller and it took under 15 minutes to install. Another great deal. I haven’t had the opportunity to test it yet but from what I read here, I have no concerns.

Order to delivery was less than a week. Very happy!!!

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L

We bought these for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and they fit beautifully. We went on a couple trips already, one of them being over 2300 miles and there were no issues and they made towing our vintage trailer so much easier. We needed them by a certain date and got them thanks to having them sent out right away. Highly recommend!

by:

These mirrors technically work but tend to shake & vibrate a lot when driving, no matter how much you tighten them. I will buy better mirrors (slip overs?) when & if they become available for my Jeep GC. Until then, I hope the don't fall of while towing my trailer.

I do not see any slip on mirror options available for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you would like to find another option that would work better for your vehicle, I would highly recommend getting in touch with our customer service department to see what they can do to help you get these replaced with some better ones.

by:

Just put them on to see how they fit, fits very good. 2021 Ascent

The K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors # KS3990 are not going to interfere with the blind spot monitoring on your 2024 Toyota Highlander XLE. I will say from personal experience you will likely will not like the dual lens style mirror as they are going to vibrate slightly in high winds driving on the highway and with the much smaller size of the lens makes it difficult to see clearly on the highways. While these are both universal mirrors which you can use on your 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport, I find the dual mirror setup much more difficult to see things clearly.
