This adjustable, universal-fit towing mirror expands your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, it can be attached to either the driver's-side or passenger's-side mirror on a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirror's mounting arms is jointed behind the mirror so the arms pivot inward or outward, and 2 additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.
Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirror and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.
The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirror securely over your existing mirror. A quick-release button in the middle of the ratchet lever allows you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirror. When you install the towing mirror, use the ratchet lever to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirror, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.
A ball joint behind the mirror allows you to manually adjust the mirror face to different viewing angles. You can also turn the entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirror to prevent scratches when this mirror is installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

Extra-large, universal towing mirror clips over one of your existing side mirrors to give you an extended rear view. A ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. Works on driver- or passenger-side mirror. Tool-free installation.I installed K-Source mirror onto my Toyota FJ Cruiser factory mirrors and I am very pleased with the fit. I suggest that you place the locking straps in a diagonal pattern for the best results. The factory mirror has a fog light on it that you will have to work with. That’s why the diagonal pattern for straps are suggested.
After several trips towing my 38' trailer, I like these add-on mirrors. Although my Nissan XD mirrors are so big and boxy shaped the add-on's do not fit without the help of several zip-ties, they still work well and hold well. I would buy again...
I had my doubts about these mirrors when I purchased them, however after about a year and over 10,000 miles, they have work just great!!! They are exactly what I was looking for, they stay put and do not wiggle around. I would recommend these mirrors for anyone looking to purchase strap on trailer mirrors.
These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.)
Of the universal towing mirrors that attach directly to the mirrors these are the ones that recommend. I have included a link to the single towing mirror options that we do have. You may want to consider one of the fender mount options like # 11650

Wheel Masters Eagle Vision Universal Extendable Towing Mirror - Strap On - Qty 1
$45.38, our other customers have had positive reviews those type of mirrors.
Great product, for our 2015 M.B. ML Bluetec 250. The adjustable latches are easy to adjust and the rubber mounts hold them securely in place at highway speeds. Easy on and easy off. One came loose when I didn't tighten the latches enough and survived a fall at 35 MPH with only minor scratches. Gives good visibility around our 1966 Airstream trailer for passing and changing lanes.
I bought this mirror for my 2016 Honda Pilot. It has performed well in over 8000 miles of driving, but I found that it is not the best fit for the shape of the Honda Pilot mirror housing. Due to the tapered shape of my mirror, it takes more time than I would like to position it, adjust the straps and get secure it. So that's annoying. It may be perfect for other mirrors, but I can't say for sure.
I had a pair of strap on exterior mirrors for my 2007 Ford Ranger that I was unhappy with for a variety of reasons. The problem with my model truck is there are relatively few aftermarket accessories for it. But when I got the email talking about these clamp on exterior mirrors, I decided to give them a try. I have a winner! They went on easily and they don't vibrate. Best of all, the adjustment for the passenger side mirror only took two tries to get it just right. Of course, the driver's side mirror is right where you are sitting, so it adjusts easily with one attempt. I'm very pleased with how these turned out. I'll be using them to see around my boat when I drag it down the road.
After 1 year and 4 trips of 5+ hours driving, I have absolutely no issues with these mirrors. They stay secure at highway speeds, even through heavy downpours. Just a tiny vibration but still a clear view down my 8 ft wide trailer and adjacent lanes. I like that the mirrors rotate. I have found the vertical orientation for drivers side and horizontal for passenger gives me the best views on my Chevy Colorado. Recommended to my neighbor for his vehicle.
The mirrors work perfect on my van for towing my 24' box car trailer .
Don't often write reviews but these towing mirrors deserve our feedback. Tow vehicle is a 2005 Honda Pilot with a weight distribution hitch and anti sway bar pulling a 2007 Hi Low travel trailer at 3400 lbs dry. Extension mirrors were needed. These K Source mirrors get our positive review for good reason. Well made and very secure (always re-tighten after several minutes on the road as a precaution). Quality construction, solid materials, all parts fit perfectly. The tightening ratchet was a surprise with its precision. And the release button, well shrouded for safety, works quickly and easily. Good price and fast delivery were a bonus. Etrailer...great job. Keep the quality products coming. 8/28/13.
I've compared these KS3891 clip-ons with at least one of the snap-on variety (KS81600), and found this clip-on product with larger mirrors, that can adjust tall or wide, offers a significantly broader view on both sides of the vehicle, which is the most important peforrmance aspect for me. However, there are installation and fit issues with my 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Series with contoured mirrors. - The passenger side mirror housing of the Ford has a slightly different shape than the driver side, causing the lower left KS3891 clamp to not fit snug to my passenger side mirror. See photos attached. While the driver side KS3891 fits tightly and parallel to my truck mirror, without movement, the left side is prone to a bit more slippage and doesn't feel as secure. The round contour of my mirrors may pose further problems given the front clamp is not fully engaged on the passenger side. I'm confident the driver side is secure, but the passenger side... will it stay on? Time will tell. - The KS3891 front clamps are thick, and make contact with the Ford mirror glass, impeding my ability to fully adjust my Ford mirrors in certain directions. - As others have noted, the upper ratchet straps are plastic (only the lower straps are rubber). Since I have to really ratchet these tightly on my rounded mirrors, seems clear to me that these will wear out sooner than later. - The upper straps make contact with the upper Ford mirror housing - see photo - and would certainly start leaving their mark if not protected. I added felt tabs to address this - a simple fix. - These never go on in exactly the same position, and are more clunky than the stylish snap-on KS81600, but ultimately, the KS3891s seem to provide the best, broadest view on both sides of the vehicle, so I'm going to stick with them, and hope they stay on securely and without vibration, especially on the passenger side.
They are well made and easy to put on and fit well. I put one on the drivers side , did a test drive down a fairly rough road and they were very stable. Very clear undistorted mirrors. Great deal for the price, I’m a happy customer. I recommend these highly.
The mirror works great; however, the side mirrors on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee are tapered so I have to ratchet the straps really tightly to keep it from slowly slipping off. But if I put too much tension on the straps the bottom angle clamps sometimes pulled back (and off) from the face of the mirror frame. I don't think it would fall off, but it happened once and I was really anxious to get to the next exit to fix it. So the next trip I added a short bungee cord to the mix, tying a single knot to get the tension I wanted. This applies enough vertical tension to keep the angle clamps "biting down" on the the face of the mirror. With that small modification it is flawless now.
The extended mirrors were easy to install and adjust, no vibration or rattle will driving. Installed and used them for a 1500 mile trip, towing a 22 ft Travel Trailer. They were very useful in making a safe journey. There is no adjustment for their extension which would have help greatly in seeing more of the back of travel trailer, they would work extremely well with flat bed or boat trailer.
Thanks for your feedback you may want to consider the # KS3990 K-SOurce Universal Dual Lens Towing mirror. It has a Dual mirror face that will provide better visibility for you.
--Very happy with the mirrors. They give you an overall improved view of the to the sides of your towing vehicle. I added some long electrical zip ties around them where the legs attach to my truck mirrors to help hold them in place and some extra security if they come loose.
Concern that this model mirror would not fit my 2016 Toyota Highlander Platinum was unfounded. They were extremely easy to attach and fit the SUV mirrors very well. At 60mph, no sense of loosening or significant vibration. I was especially pleased that they did not interfere with the SUV's side warning indicator sensors. Highly recommend.
These mirror are the best i have tested so far. I used them on my 08 Equinox to have a better view when pulling my popup camper. The installation is made within 5 minutes and you get a very good sight of your towing vehicule and around. They dont suffer from any kind of vibration even in high winds and they hold very well. The only cons that i have is that with my vehicule the added mirrors interfered slightly with the factory mirror so i cannot move them as freely as normaly but its no a big deal. For the price you cannot find any better mirror on the market.
We have used this product and it stays on the mirror without problem. It definitely helps while Highway driving. I recommend this product if you have a vehicle that isn’t equipped with towing mirrors. Purchased for 2014 Nissan Armada.
It took me awhile to figure out how to use the straps but once I did the mirrors went on and were very snug. My maiden voyage with my TT is tomorrow afternoon... I will be better informed on how they work later tomorrow... I couldn’t find mirrors specific for my truck so these were a pleasant surprise... THANKS!
When I first received the package it looked great! However, the instructions for installation could be much better. Furthermore, on my 2016 Grand Caravan, the mirrors are shaped in such a way that your mirror slides off, so I added additional straps and made the connections metal. Here are some photos so you can adapt my idea for future customers.
I like these mirrors and they work well for my Ford Escape that has odd shaped mirrors but my one concern is the straps that keep them attached. They have a poor design and 3 out of 4 loops to keep the straps together are missing so I've had to use electrical ties and now I have no fear of losing my mirrors as I travel. Have attached a picture to show what i had to do to make them safe for travelling. I actually did thois on all four areas and now have no concerns. This design needs to be improved on!!
This was quick and super easy to install. This gives me a line of sight I struggled with before. I highly recommend this to anyone who pulls a trailer and need temporary mirrors for pulling. This isn't meant to keep on for it is recommended that when not towing, to remove. I just wish these sold as a pair. Other than that, I couldn't be happier.
These mirrors mount securely to the existing mirrors of my Expedition, and are just wide enough to see down the sides of my travel trailer. I would rather the vehicle came with extendable towing mirrors, but these are affordable and suitable substitutes. Once mounted correctly, they do not budge or vibrate at all. The only minor complaint I have is that when removed, the strap clips fall out of the mounting slots, so I have to make sure to keep the straps with the mirrors. I found a box that does the job.
They are an inexpensive way to solve the issue of seeing around a towed trailer. They are a little cumbersome to attach, but they do seem to stay snug once attached to the truck mirrors. They don't vibrate, causing an unclear rear view. Again, a good, inexpensive fix to not having towing mirrors already on your truck.
Great product, the only issue I had was on my 2014 Tacoma, you have to be careful when you strap them on that you don't minipulate or get the regular mirror out of alaignment. Once the tow mirrors are on my particular truck, you cannot adjust the regular mirrors because of the mounting tabs. But if you are aware of this, they can be installed and work fine.
