Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this universal three-point mount door mirror. This is going to replace the three-point mount style factory mirror on your truck or van. This can work as a driver's side or as a passenger side mirror. The mirror face itself is just shy of seven inches wide. It's about 6 7/8 of an inch wide by approximately 9 7/8 of an inch tall, or just under 10 inches tall.
And you can see it does have this chrome finish to it. So assuming that your original mirror was also chrome, this will not only allow you to gain the functionality back, to be able to see what's coming up behind you, to change lanes, and that sort of thing, but it should add that complete finished look to your vehicle. Again, this does tilt up and down, like so, and it can also tilt or pivot in and out so that you can get the right viewing angle for you. That pivot functionality is also going to give us our swing-away design, so it's going to allow us to fold the mirror up against our vehicle. So if we're going into a tight parking space, something along those lines, we'll be able to decrease our profile there.
And this does have, of course, the three point design, but the bottom holes of our mount here are spaced about nine inches apart. The top hole that you'll be installing onto your vehicle can be adjusted so that your mirror is at different points there, so depending on how the angle that you need to get attached, the distance there, you can adjust that between those three mounting points. The one I have it mounted to is the farthest out, and you've got that middle one, and then that closest one there. So you've got several different options to customize this for your setup. They do include the hardware that you're gonna need to get this mounted onto your vehicle.
So the screws and lock nuts and that sort of thing, they get that mounted in place. So it's gonna be very simple to get this installed in place of the original and should look just like the original, or very similar to it, so that it's gonna be a nice, finished look on your vehicle. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

Universal mirror replaces the side-view mirror on most trucks or vans with 3-point-mount style mirrors. Breakaway feature enables mirror to fold in or out when struck to deter breakage. Hardware included. Chrome finish.I had previous 3/8 holes drilled into my stock 97 mirror brackets
I only needed mirror and elbow and bolts to secure mirrors correctly
Installation Took about 20 minutes
This is what I needed to replace the broken mirror on my truck. However I thought I purchased 2, and when I received I was surprised to only find 1, however after comparing them the previous I found it to be of higher quality, so I am satisfied,
Just what I ordered
