Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at these Maxtrax Lite Recovery Boards. Now these two black recovery boards are going to give you traction when your tires are bogged down in the snow, sand, or mud. And the rows of 66 traction teeth on each board are gonna give you a surface that your tires can grip onto. Now these boards are great for that part-time explorer, or for those exploring less extreme off-road terrains.
What sets the Maxtrax Lite Recovery Tracks apart is their weight. They're actually 48% lighter than the MKII Recovery Tracks. I actually weighed these and each board weighs just a little under four pounds each. So these are perfect for smaller vehicles and for those that are mindful of weight limits and roof load capacities. Now these boards are also 22% shorter than the MKIIs and Xtreme Recovery Tracks.
And while we're here, let me go ahead and just give you some overall measurements. So let me line this particular board up just to put it in frame to show you the measurements. I did flip this over, that's going to be easier to measure. So looking at the overall length from end to end, as I hope you can see, we are sitting right at 35 inches long. And then looking at the width here at the widest point end to end, we're sitting at 13 inches wide.
And then the height at the tallest point, which would be in the center from the base that it's sitting on all the way to the top of the teeth, we're sitting at about two and a half inches tall. So that gives you an idea of the size, and again, just how they are smaller and more lightweight than the MKIIs or the Xtreme boards. Now these boards, like the other boards from Maxtrax are going to easily nest together just like that, for easy transport and storage. And these boards are made from impact resistant thermoplastic to achieve that lightweight, yet tough construction. So these are gonna be very easy to maneuver, very easy to put in place, and also very easy to take out of the terrain once you get your vehicle out from being stuck.
While we're here, I did wanna point out that you can use the ends here as shovels. As you can see here, well maybe you can't, I'm not too sure, but it does say "shovel" here, just to point out that you can use this as a shovel on either end to remove excess dirt, terrain, earth, to get you on step quicker. So that's a nice included feature. And let me give you an overhead view again, and again line these up so you can see. And as you probably already saw, we do have these built-in handles. You got a total of four handles on each board, two on each side. And it's gonna help you easily transport these, easily get these out of the terrain after you get your vehicle recovered. And then also I do have these leashes bundled up, but you are going to receive two leashes. And so if you're using these in a terrain where it's not going to be easy just to grab this out of the ground or out of the sand, you can wrap a leash around the board. And then when you are finished recovering your vehicle, you can pull the other end of the leash, and that's going to help you more easily retrieve your board. So two leashes are included with this. That's a nice addition. And these do have the keyhole accessory points that's going to allow you to securely mount these boards. And these do have a lifetime warranty from Maxtrax. Well, that's going to wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Bought them since my 2-wheel drive with street tires doesn't get the traction like a 4WD. Will use these for the front wheels Twice, even with locking differential I have not been able to get enough traction due to the light weight of the rear end of the truck when it is not loaded.
Sometimes I do use them to raise the truck a few inches to make it easier to use my creeper, e.g., when changing the oil.
Haven’t used the product yet but these are great quality boards. The size is a perfect fit for the Jeep. I have to say the etrailer experience is excellent! They keep you very informed every step of the way. Nice Job!
