Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Maxtrax mini recovery boards and jack pad. Now, these orange recovery boards with one doubling as a jack pad, these are gonna be a perfect addition to your overlanding recovery kit. These boards are going to provide traction when your tires are bogged down in the snow or slush, sand or mud. These rows of traction teeth that you see here are gonna give you a surface that your tires can grip onto. And the compact size is gonna be perfect for your UTVs or smaller vehicles with space constraints.

And then when you flip this board over, this is going to double as a jack pad. And let me just show you the difference here. This other board is not going to be used as a jack pad. So you see the difference there. Our jack pad is, has this different surface underneath, more of a flat area to help you distribute the weight of your jack and stop it from sinking in uneven or soft terrain.

Now these boards do nest on top of one another, so what you're gonna do is you're gonna take your board that's not a jack pad, and then that's going to sit right on top of the board that is a jack pad. Let me give you a front view of that just so you can see how compact they are. So this is gonna take up virtually no space, whether it's in the back of your vehicle. Also, I wanted to point out that these boards do have holes here. Let me go back overhead.

Maybe you can see that better. They have holes here that you can use to mount these onto the wall of your garage or something like that, just to kind of keep them out of the way, off of the ground, and keep them from getting potentially misplaced or damaged. Now let me go ahead and go over some measurements with you. So I'm gonna flip this one over. It's gonna be a little bit easier to measure.

And both of these are gonna have the same measurements. So looking at the overall length, we're sitting right at 25 inches. As you can see here, my tape measure holds still, so 25 inches long. And then looking at the width, we're sitting right at 12 7/8 inches wide. And then looking at the height, it's gonna be easier again to show you this front view. Move this one out of the way here and set this one like that. So looking at the overall height or depth, however you'd like to identify that, we're sitting pretty close to 2 5/8 inches tall. And these are constructed of fiber reinforce nylon. So it's gonna make these boards light, but also very strong. They're gonna be light enough to easily haul in and out of your vehicle. Each board weighs about four pounds, but yet they're gonna be heavy duty enough to bear the full weight of your vehicle without you having to worry about them cracking or braking. Now these built-in handles are going to make it very easy to grab onto and recover. These also include two leashes and I've got these leashes bundled up to save them space on my tabletop here. But you are going to receive two leashes so that you can wrap the each leash around the board in case you're concerned that one might get buried or potentially be hard to get out of depending on the condition you're trying to get your vehicle unstuck from. So those leashes are going to help you easily retrieve your board after you get your vehicle unstuck. Instructions are going to be included with these boards to make sure that you're using them as the way that they've been designed. And they do have a lifetime warranty.
