I am not happy with the way things were shipped. I haven’t opened anything because I want to share with you how damaged the box is. I am assuming the box was opened and the rest of my order was put inside of the mirror extension box. So now I need to see if everything is still in the box and to see what is damaged. Because the employee/company took a cheap short cut of not packaging my order in a shipping box this is what your company portrays to your customers. Not happy at all.

This kit was ordered as a spare along with the tools for an emergency situation - which did occur! Thanks to the TEAM at etrailer I had what I needed and was back on the road (slight delay) and on to my ATV destination.

Bearing and seal kit are a great quality purchase, they fit perfectly and have been running trouble free for a year now. Will definitely use this kit again when it is time to replace the bearings in my utility trailer or boat trailer. I recommend using the Buddy Bearing grease hub with this Bearing & Seal pack.

I needed a bearing kit for my trailer. Kaleigh instructed me as to the information she needed. I was able to give her part numbers and partial part numbers from the bearings and grease seal and Kaleigh was able to assemble the kit. Fit perfectly.

- BK2-100
by:

Questions about correct parts were answered promptly and allowed me to purchase the right bearing kit. Received kit with all contents. Bearings have a lower quality feel than the originals. We’ll see how they hold up. Waiting to install.

This kit went on great on my 2003 Shoreland’r single axle with disc brakes. My brakes were completely inoperable so there was a huge difference on the post-project test ride. I had to replumb my hard brake lines on the axle and I needed to make some pretty sharp bends to dodge the springs.

When I started looking for the parts to fix my trailer I gave etrailer a call and the folks there were very helpful. They were very knowledgeable and new exactly what I needed to get me up and running again. I would definitely recommend them for all your trailer needs.

The bearing kit was intended for a Dexter 3500lb EZ-Lube torque flex axle w/ electric brakes. When I ordered, I asked eTrailer to ensure I had ordered the proper parts, but after they shipped them, they told me that they could not verify what they'd fit, and the only way to be sure was to disassemble my axle and records the part numbers FIRST. Fortunately, the parts fit perfectly, Too bad eTrailer doesn't have a cross-reference parts list for what parts actually fit what. Having to disassemble things before ordering makes the device unusable until the parts are received. Fortunately, eTrailer shipped my parts 2-Day Priority, and I had them in jig-time. This is not my first eTrailer purchase and I am very happy with their service and prices.

- BK2-100
by:

Inner bearing races are the wrong outside diameter. The bearing on the right is the one that came out of the trailer, the one on the left is the one that came in the bearing kit. The new one was too big to seat in the wheel, despite being the same part number. I bought one locally (same part number), and it went in perfectly. Disappointed that I waited almost 2 weeks to get these kits, and was unable to use the races.

After ready so many good reviews my expectations of etrailer were high and was sadly dissappointed when my trailer bearing replacement kit showed up 3 days late and with all the pieces loose in small bubble wrap envelope. I expected better packaging for something so crucial that Im relying on. And the parts were all thrown together carelessly. Will be closely inspecting everthing and hoping for no damage. Will be returning if there is! Dissappointed...

I would like to report that the person that helped me Sunny C. was very pleasant and most helpful. my parts arrived sooner than expected. seems to me etrailer will be my go to for parts.

Bearings have been doing well. Completed my annual re-grease and no particular wear evident having completed > 8000 miles towing @ 6000 lbs (dual axle) across the country and the various roads conditions.

Purchased travel trailer wheel bearings and seals For 10k overhaul. Easier and cheaper to repack and replace vs. cleaning and repacking. Seals will be destroyed anyway while repacking

I bought these as spares for my Eagle Ultra Utility trailer. They appear to be exact matches to the existing set. I was very pleased with the price for the complete kit. E-trailer got them to me fast along with my other items. I will keep the bearings with me on the road for peace of mind.

packaged with parts together, fit well on the axle, came in a timely way as expressed by etrailer, have used this kit in the past, would recommend others to experience these kits, very satisfied with etrailer and staff

I wasn't able to find this bearing kit locally anywhere, everyone is out of stock due to this Covid BS. I've used etrailer before with very good results, so I ordered them there for my boat trailer. They were out of stock also but they accepted my order. I had regular emails with the status and got the bearings pretty quick. Installed today. A+ guys! Thank you

Perfect replacement for my 20 year old bearings. The hardest part was getting the old races out but the video from etrailer made that easier. I purchased the installation tool so replacing the races was easy, I highly recommend getting the installation tool.

It is a year later and absolutely no problems from the bearings and seals on my utility trailer rebuild. I have put a lot of miles on them since Hurricane Michael hauling equipment and debris. Thats all you can ask from good bearings and seals.

I have not had the chance to put these on the trailer yet, but as always, I order all my trailer parts from e-trailer and they are always awesome! I have never had any problems with my orders, their shipping is lightning fast and I am a 100% loyal customer. I highly recommend e-trailer for all trailer needs.

I ordered the Dexter nev-er-adjust electric trailer brake and bearing kit's for my Aliner. The installation was easy thanks to your instructional video's. The delivery was fast and everything fit perfectly. I took one twelve hundred mile trip and had no issues. I also ordered the Brophy ball mount because it was long enough for me to drop my tailgate without hitting the hitch crank. Thanks

  • How To Find Correct Bearing Kit for 1998 Jayco Eagle 260FS
The 1998 Jayco Eagle 260FS weighs around 5,000 lbs so it is likely to have either 2,000-2,200 lb or 3,500 lb axles. If it uses 2,000-2,200 lb axles then you'll need the Bearing Kit part # BK1-100 but if it uses 3,500 lb axles then you'll need the Bearing Kit part # BK2-100. In order to confirm you can read the axle tag off the axle tube. That said, we don't have the ability to look up bearing info for any one particular trailer.

Can you get me the diameter of the axle or the capacity if you can find it? Most likely it's a 2k axle and the kit part # BK1-100 would be the correct kit to use but I'd need to verify that for sure. The correct diameter axle for a 2k axle would be 1-3/4 inch.

  • Should a Bent Trailer Spindle be Replaced or is it Safe to Reshape it
Replacing the spindle is going to be the best bet. Since the old spindle was bent, there could be more damage to it than meets the eye. This damage could come to light or be made worse by heating and trying to reshape the spindle into working order. You run a higher risk of the same thing happening all over again. A new spindle will take care of that part of the problem. I have included a link to our spindle main page. There are some important measurements that need to be taken to find...

Because your axle has the zerk fittings at the ends of the spindles, a bearing protector like a Bearing Buddy physically will not fit. You would either need to remove the zerk to use a bearing protector or replace the zerk fitting an continue using it. Zerk fittings are not always easily replaced if they have been pressed in so removing it may be the only option.
