Just what was needed to replace the bad bearings on my fifth wheel. Ordering was easy and delivery fast. replaced broken and bad leaf springs that I also purchased from etrailer.com
Thanks everyone for the great service.

by:

Perfectly satisfied with the prompt and accurate service. One question about the product: The mechanic who installs these bearings for me on my travel trailer said that the kit includes a cotter pin, but there is no hole for the cotter pin to go through. I know nothing about how this all works -- I just buy the bearings and he puts them in. etrailer ... do you have any comment on his remark?

Yes, the bearing kit comes with both the cotter pin and tang washer. Different axles use either the cotter pin or the tang washer to keep the standard nut or castle nut on at the end of the spindle. Lippert easy-lube axles, for example, have a hole through them for a cotter pin and castle nut, while Dexter axles will not have the hole for the cotter pin and instead use a regular nut and tang washer to prevent the nut from backing off.

by:

The bearings were exactly as described and what I needed.

by:

Installed these wheel bearings last year. No issues and they have worked great.

by:

GREAT WHEEL BEARING KIT

by:

I found that the travel trailer OEM tail lights were blocked by the cargo carrier. I installed these light as an extension of the OEM tail light. These lights enhanced the OEM lights. Now I worry a bit less about the vehicles behind me.

by:

Purchased travel trailer wheel bearings and seals
For 10k overhaul. Easier and cheaper to repack and replace vs. cleaning and repacking. Seals will be destroyed anyway while repacking

by:

bearings fit good and brought old trailer back to life

by:

Your people are super helpful and the website is fantastic. I really don't know how you could get much better. I don't know of any other company that is as customer focused as you are. Thank You for doing such an awesome job.

by:

Quick delivery and the exact parts I needed that no one else had.

by: 08/31/2024

I had a wonderful experience with the greatest person in your employment I was more then pleased with her assistance I want to say thankyou

by:

I was disappointed that the complete brake assemblies did not include the 4 7/16 fine thread hex nut used to mount the assembly to the axle. This is not a common size. So I had to visit three local locations to purchase the 16 nuts needed to mount my four assemblies. Because of age and corrosion. I was forced to cut some of the original bolts to remove the old assemblies. My feeling is that kits should contain all hardware need to complete the install

by:

These bearing kits are just the thing for rebuilding wheel hub and drums. As long as you know your axle rating, ordering is easy. Made with excellent quality materials and workmanship, Installation was straight forward. ALWAYS use high temperature high pressure WHEEL BEARING GREASE. My bearing replacement was caused by a friend doing me a favor and greasing my hubs. Unfortunately for me, he used chassis grease and the bearings failed in a very short time. I saw slight smoke coming from my trailer hub and noticed a slight wobble in one wheel. On inspection I saw the problem. Always use your mirrors and watch your trailer. I had a VERY expensive vehicle on board.

by:

Bearing and seal kit are a great quality purchase, they fit perfectly and have been running trouble free for a year now. Will definitely use this kit again when it is time to replace the bearings in my utility trailer or boat trailer.
I recommend using the Buddy Bearing grease hub with this Bearing & Seal pack.

This product has proven I made the best choice to keep my utility trailer rolling trouble free.

by:

These bearings worked fine. However, they were shipped loose in a box with some crumpled up craft paper stuffed in. The items had been rattling around in the box during shipping and had some exterior nicks on the bearings. I am rating this a 3 because of the unacceptable shipping.

by:

It was very easy to get professional assistance to find the right parts for my travel trailer. Order placement was a dream.
Thanks for all your help.

by:

The bearing was delayed in shipment. I believe a label was created but it wasn't shipped. I inquired about it, and got a lame answer about a crinkled label, but when I checked the next day I could track the shipment from the facility. But to top it off, when I received it, the package had been ripped open and all I ended up with was an envelope. You should really try to be better.

Perfectly. I towed a 3000 lb. car in my 3000 lb. enclosed trailer across the country and back-5800 miles. Not even the slightest trouble. trailer parts are always at the top of my trailer list. Thanks.

by:

Thank you for getting my order shipped in a timely manner and ON TIME. A lot of businesses say they'll send something in a certain time but a lot don't. You did and I appreciate it.

everything has worked well as needed. Great products and customer service

by:

USPS tracking site listed for 6 days that they had ticket prepared and were awaiting product from shipper. When I called etrailer about this the CSR said, of course it has been shipped, and blamed USPS for having a bad history of not scanning packages and quickly developed an attitude and started quoting you policy. I'm not sure who the guilty party is but I know who had a bad attitude. He should know people have a lot of options where to spend their money! etrailer probably won't be my first stop when shopping in the future.

by:

Perfect replacement for my 20 year old bearings. The hardest part was getting the old races out but the video from etrailer made that easier. I purchased the installation tool so replacing the races was easy, I highly recommend getting the installation tool.

It is a year later and absolutely no problems from the bearings and seals on my utility trailer rebuild. I have put a lot of miles on them since Hurricane Michael hauling equipment and debris. Thats all you can ask from good bearings and seals.

by:

Etrailer is very knowledged in their work. They was able to answer all my questions with a quick response time. The shipment was also very fast. I highly recommend this company for all your RV needs.

by:

Realized after I purchased the kit does not include O-rings. Why would they not include the replacement O-rings for a few more bucks.

by:

I bought the bearing kit as a spare and haven't used it yet but I think etrailer is an excellent resource with fair prices. There is a lot of helpful information on their site.

  • Bearing Kits For Lippert 3,500LB Trailer Axles
You are going to want either our Bearing Kit # BK2-100 or the Timken Kit # TMK52VR. Both of these kits will give you the inner/outer bearings and races along with a grease seal and cotter pin/D-washer for one hub. You always want to replace the race when you replace the bearing since they ride on the race and will prematurely wear your bearings if they are even slightly distorted from the previous bearing set. Here is a list of tools you may need if you are doing the work yourself. Race...

  • Replacement Bearing Kit and Brakes for a 2003 Boat Trailer with 3,500 lb Axles
Thanks for the information and photo, Kenneth! It looks like your trailer is equipped with 3,500 lb axles so to replace your bearings and seals you need the kit # BK2-100, but it also looks like you have an older disc brake kit with a design that I've never seen. I know we don't have any replacement parts for that and you'll likely be hard-pressed to find anything unless your boat trailer manufacturer still has parts available. What I recommend doing is replacing your disc brakes entirely...

  • How to Find Replacement Bearings and Grease Seal for 1990's Shoreline Boat Trailer
In order to find the correct bearings and seals for your Shoreline boat trailer you will need to identify what you have. The first thing I would check is the axle tag. If this was made by an existing manufacturer like Dexter or Lippert they will be able to identify the axle and parts using the serial number. If the axle tag is worn or missing, you will need to pull off your hubs to check your bearings. There may be part numbers stamped in the side, but more than likely you will need to...

  • Replacement Brakes, Hub/Drums, Bearings, And Seals For A Lippert 3,500lb Axle
Hey Dan, The info you provided does tell us a bit about the axle but isn't enough to look up what components go with with it. With it being a 3,500lb axle it's probably a generic 3,500lb kit for the bearings and seals but I'd hate to not be 100% sure before ordering. Can you send me a picture of the axle tag sticker and I can look up the bearings and seals? When replacing brake assemblies you should always replace both sides of the axle at the same time so for the brake assemblies you...
